"Tora what are you talking about? What just happened?" Sammi asked. I sat up and grabbed my pounding head. I looked over to the door and then back to Sammi. She nodded in understanding and asked the ones who weren't in bvb to leave. The only people really left at our house were the FIR guys. Andy Jake and Cc stood against the walls while Ashley and I still sat on the floor with Jinxx and Sammi hovering over me in worry. I sighed and explained what happened. After I was done I glared at Ashley. "So in essence we are mates and stuck together." I finished. "Oh please. Don't act like your innocent in this. It takes two to tango little princess." Ashley growled. "Maybe so but I can still be pissed off if I damn well want to be so screw you Purdy." I growled back at him. /And at this rate we will get nowhere fast./ Alecto grumbled in my head. 'Oh shut it you. You could always leave me alone ya know?' I sniped in my head. And then Ashley and I were arguing again. I went to put my hands on his chest and freeze him but the moment I tapped into my powers my hands burst into flames. I thoroughly freaked out. "WHAT THE HELL? MAKE IT STOP. OH MY GOD IM ON FIRE!!" I shrieked jumping around trying to put out my hands. /You are not on fire. Apparently you and Ashley swapped powers in this process./ Alecto said with a laugh. "We'll fucking make it stop!" I shrieked as the temperature in the room spiked. Jinxx was trying to put his jacket on my hands to put out the flames but it didn't work out and I burned his jacket to a crisp. I guess Takira told Ashley what was happening because suddenly he was there behind me holding me down and whispering in my ear. "Just calm down and breathe. If you will control your emotions then the fire will die down." He murmured. When I was still freaking out and it didn't work. He started singing. He started on Lost It All and in mere seconds everybody joined in.

By this point I was shaking with my back pressed into Ashley's chest as I stared at my hands. As the song went on I had been able to calm down and now the flames were dying down.

They finished the son and I wasn't on fire anymore. I was still hyperventilating a little and everyone was hugging me. After a while I stopped shaking and stood up slowly. Everybody stood up with me and Ashley let me go. I rubbed my forehead. "This is going to be so much harder than I thought." I sighed. Everybody nodded but the Jake piped up. "Hey. Maybe they were joking about the distance bit. I'm pretty sure it couldn't be that bad. I mean so y'all's powers got switched and you have strange voices in your head. It could be worse." He said. I stared at him like he had just grown a second head. "Your joking right? Because my hands just caught on fire. I'm mates to Purdy boy over here and I have a dude talkin to me in my head. Oh and trust me when I say that we aren't gunna test that theory of yours because when dragons make threats they aren't idle. I guarantee that Ashley and I are stuck close to eachother no matter how much I wish we weren't. Solely because our beasts are sadistic assholes that think that we need to get along." I said. /Well that's jut rude now isn't it? Here I am trying to help you get along with your mate and your just bein cruel now./ Alecto said. 'Oh shut up. I don't accept this. He isn't my mate. And I don't give a damn what you say.' I retorted. /Well sucks for you because I don't give a damn./ He answered in a singsong voice. I growled. "And apparently Ashley's dragon is a fucking smart ass. No surprise there." I said snarkily. Ashley rolled his eyes. "We'll Takira is nothing but a bossy bitch. Just. Like. You." He said. And then we were arguing. I distantly heard Cc. "And here we go again. Who's gunna break this up?" He said and then I was being pulled backwards by Andy. "Okay you guys. You cannot keep arguing with eachother. None of us can deal with it. You guys are going to have to get along or so help me I will get you your own apartment and you can argue there away from the rest of us." He said with a sigh. Everybody nodded. Even Sammi and Jinxx. "Fine." I said before glaring at Ashley. He did the same and then we fell into an angry silence. After a few minutes I darted foreword and grabbed Ashley's arm and started pulling him down the stairs. "What the hell?" He asked. "I'm hungry. We are going to the kitchen. Deal with it." I said. When we reached the living room Ronnie and the others looked up from the couch. Ronnie looked awful an was sitting beside a trash can. He looked at me and winced. "Remind me never to drink with you again little sister. I don't know how your not dead from alcohol poisoning right now. Even DJ Ashba couldn't out drink you." Ronnie moaned. I laughed and then proceeded to the kitchen getting strange looks for manhandling Ashley. I grabbed monsters and started chugging before pulling out a jar of peanut butter and a spoon. I started eatin plain PB. This got me a strange look from Ashley. "What. It's my comfort food." I snapped eating another spoonful I stood up and we walked into the living room and saw that the couches were mostly full as everybody was in the living room. Ashley sat down and I sat as far away as was possible within the five foot range. This just so happened to be on Derek's lap. I approached him and looked down at him. He looked up and I motioned to the phone in his lap with my spoon. "Move your phone. Imma sit with you." I said and he complied. I settled myself and kept eating my snack. I had to smack Derek's hand way with my spoon a few times and then it turned into a game to see if he could get my food without me noticing. After awhile I saw Derek start to shiver and I looked over at Ashley who was glaring at us. I shot him a look that said to stop it before I made him top it and he just growled lowly and looked away. "Something wrong little sister?" Derek asked. I looked back at him and shook my head. "Nope. Now stop touching my peanut butter!!" I said smacking his hand with my spoon and laughing. Almost ten minutes later I was suddenly picked up. I turned a glare on Ashley. He just started to pull me upstairs. When we reached his room he sat me on the bed and glared at me. "I don't like this." He said. I growled. "Ashley stop being a jealous dick. You know the guys are like my brothers. They even call me little sister. Duh." I said. He rolled his eyes then sat down next to me defeated. "Why don't you like me?" He asked. "Because Ashley. I know your reputation. I can't. I just can't. I don't think it will work because your you and I'm me. We are polar opposites. Hello? Fire and ice. If we get together then all that's going to happen is your going to et tired and leave and ill be alone again. Just like when mom left. I will be alone and I can't do that." I said brokenly. He looked at me and sighed pulling me close. I didn't fight it but I didn't react either. He started mumbling under his breathe but I managed to hear him and almost laughed. He was reciting fire and ice by Robert frost
Some say the world will end in fire

I hole with those who favor fire

"Look Tora. Can we just try and get along and work this out until everything goes back to normal? I know you don't want to but this won't be any easier if we're at eachothers throats the whole time." He said. I thought and then nodded and our shaky true was born. After a few minutes I started laughing. He looked down at me curiously. "You have to go to school with me tomorrow!" I sai shaking with laughter. His eyes widened and then he groaned an fell back with his hand over his face. This was going to be interesting.
