The Girl With The Dragon's Blood

After that the day progressed slowly. We got everything I needed packed and ready to go. I had four suitcases of clothes and a backpack that had all of my music tech stuff in it and my violin had been carefully locked into its case. My violin and tech equipment always came with me on the jet and was padlocked into a private storage area on the jet that only I could get into because I didn't trust anyone else with it. We would leave in the morning to get on the jet and go to LA. Finally Jake who had been sitting quietly in thought spoke up. "Tora. Why do you have a private jet?" He asked and everyone else looked at me curiously. "Well my mom used to use it to transport herself and the models to different fashion shows but she used to let me use however I wanted. One weekend I got bored and she let me fly to Paris because I had never been and I wanted to go." I said with a small smile at the memory. "But now that she is gone the whole company is mine which means the jet is mine to. Wow I'm really loaded." I said with a hint of sadness as the realization hit me. But then I lifted my head and put on my best smile. After that we started conversing normally. Soon it was nine at night and we all needed to head to bed. In the morning I woke up on my own and had to wake Christi. We got ready together. She was seeing me off at the airport. I was leaving my truck here for her because she had just gotten her license but my corvette was already on its way to LA. I couldn't very well leave my baby behind. I fishtail braided my hair and stuck some black flower clips into it. I was wearing a black long sleeved top that had a large white flower printed in the center with black skinnies and black wedge heels. I put all of my stuff into the back of the truck and then realized we would all have to pile into the small space. This was going to be interesting. Finally we worked it out to where Jinxx Andy and Jake would sit in the back with their girlfriends in their laps and Cc would sit in the passenger side with Christi on his lap and when I lifted the center console it made a middle seat where Ashley sat. I turned the truck on and pulled out of the drive. About halfway there Ashley thought it would be funny to trail his fingers up my thigh. I gasped and accidentally swerved. Lots of cussing and shrieking was heard. "What the hell Tora? Are you trying to kill us?" Jake asked with wide eyes. "Hey don't blame me. Tell Purdy boy to keep his hands to himself while I'm driving before he makes me kill us all." I said with a growl to my voice. I heard Ashley yelp and looked back to see that Sammi and Jinxx had simultaneously smacked him in the back of the head. This happened three more times until we finally made it to the airport. I was the first one out an everyone else piled out breathing sighs of relief. "You are never going to be in the car while I drive again." I told Ashley. He smirked. We grabbed our stuff and walked inside. I completely bypassed the ticket ladies and started walking towards the boarding area for my jet with everyone following behind me. I was soon unexpectedly stopped by a little blonde perky thing. "I'm sorry miss but there are no flights leaving out of this terminal today. I'm going to need to see you tickets and then I can help point you in the right direction." She said with a little to much pep. What the hell did they put in this chicks coffee? Crack? I opened my mouth to tell her to chill with the peppy an that I could damn well go through this terminal if I wanted to when a man in a business suit rushed over. "Miss Hime. It's so good to see you again. Please forgive Sara. She's new. Your jet is waiting an the pilot is standing by for your arrival." He said. I smiled at him gratefully. I had known this man most of my life. He was Jonathan Stanley. He had been running the airport since forever. He was always a big suck up to my family. He turned to the girl. "Sara this is Miss Tora Hime. From Hime Global Couture. This terminal leads to her private jet. She and her friends never need tickets. Now why don't you go help Lynn with her station dear." He said dismissing the girl. After she walked off he started apologizing about her lack of knowledge and rudeness. I waved it off and kept walking. When we reached the jet someone grabbed our bags and put them in the storage. They all knew to leave my backpack and violin though because I had almost killed some poor new guy who tried to take them four years ago. I grabbed my stuff and walked onto the jet with everyone following behind me. I locked my stuff in its storage compartment and then turned to see the others looking around in wonder. I had to admit it was pretty posh. Soon they got over their fascination and it was time to leave. I pulled Christi into a tight hug and then handed her the keys to the house and truck. She smiled and then left. Soon we were in the air on our way to LA. The stewardess brought out chips and sandwiches with sodas for us to snack on and we all sat in companionable silence. After a while I fell asleep. I was soon woken up by someone shaking me. I opened my eyes and saw that it was Jinxx. He told me we had finally arrived. I stood up and stretched before going back to retrieve my violin and backpack. I slowly walked off of the jet where everyone was waiting for me. All of our bags were taken to where Sammi's car was waiting. My corvette was next to hers waiting for my in all of its sleek sexy black glory. I ran up to it and hugged the hood. "I've missed you baby." I said to it and everyone burst out laughing. "Jeez you care more about your car than the guys." I heard Ella say and I sat up and smiled. "I love stuff like this. The speed and feel of a car like this is unimaginable. This car is my baby. I don't let anyone else drive, clean, or fix her. She requires a delicate precision that I trust no one but myself with." I stated patting the hood of my car lovingly. Sammi smiled. "Well I hate to say it but someone will have to ride with you because my car is to full." She said. Ashley automatically stepped foreword with a lecherous look on his face. I shook my head. "I told you that you aren't aloud in the car while I'm driving. So lets see. Eenie meenie minie Cc!" I said pointing to him. He smirked and walked foreword patting Ashley on the back. I watched everyone pile into Sammi's car. Jinxx and Sammi were in the front and Jake and Andy were in the back with Ella and Juliet on their laps while Ashley sat by himself. I frowned. It seemed like something was wrong with Juliet. I made a mental note to talk to her later. Sammi have me the address when I told her I needed it. She said I could follow behind her but I told her that there was something I needed to get out of my system. I think she caught on because I looked lovingly at my car when I told her. She smirked and gave me the address. She pulled out and I walked to my car and slid in sighing at the feel of the leather seet. I rolled the top back and Cc climbed in. I pulled on a pair of dark sunglasses and then turned the car on. I revved the engine feeling it purr. I smiled and made sure Cc was buckled in. "Hold on tight doll." I said before reversing in a screech of tires. I quickly spun the car around and tore out of the parking lot like the hounds of hell were on my ass. Cc was pressed back into the seat with a look of terror on his face but I was smiling. This was my therapy. I quickly caught up with Sammi and threw up a peace sign as I passed them. Cc finally found his voice. "Jeezus Christ Tora!! Slow down your going to get us killed or arrested!" He screamed at me but I just smiled and pressed the accelerator. The car shot foreword and I weaved in and out of traffic. I screeched around corners and sped through yellow lights. We made it to Sammi's house in less than ten minutes. I slowed down to pull into the drive and looked over at Cc who was bone whit and holding onto the door for dear life. He was breathing hard. I couldn't help it. I started laughing histarically. I was laughing so hard my sides hurt. And I was still laughing when Sammi pulled up five minutes later. By this time Cc had unbuckled him self and crawled out of the car to sit on solid ground. Everyone piled out of Sammi's car and looked at me in confusion. I finally regained my composure enough to sit up straight and breathe. Jake and Andy knelt down next to Cc and asked what I had done. "Never again." He murmured. The girls pulled me aside and asked what had happened and I explained that he had a bad reaction to my speed therapy. We all laughed at that. "I'm going to have to remember that one next time Jinxx makes me mad. It seems very effective." Sammi said and the rest if us laughed and the other girls agreed. We finally made our way inside the house and Cc seemed mostly recovered. They showed me my room. It was fairly large and was painted a pretty shade of green. Sammi and the girls helped me put my stuff up. My weapons and instruments wouldn't come until tomorrow. When we finished unpacking my stuff we all went downstairs and sat on the couch. I sat between Ashley and Cc and soon ended up laying across them. My feet were on Ashley and my head was on Cc. I was getting seriously tired when all of a sudden I shot up and grabbed my foot in pain. "Mother of god. Foot cramp!! Son of a bitch this shit hurts." I said trying to get rid of it and failing. I felt someone grab my foot and looked up to see Ashley lookin at me. "Lay back. I can get rid of it." He told me. For once I listened and he started gently rubbing my foot. Soon it was gone but Ashley didn't stop rubbing. After awhile he picked up my other foot and started to run that one. Before I knew it I was asleep and dreaming. I dreamt that my mom was there. She was standing in front of me yelling for me to run. I kept yelling for her but then she was fighting someone. I couldn't see them. Just their figure. I kept trying to move towards her but something was in between us keeping me from her. Then the figure pulled out a gun and I started screaming louder for her. Then a shot rang out. I saw my mother drop to the floor. I threw back my head and my beast and I let forth a roar of anger.
Ashley's pov--
After I started on her other foot I saw Tora fall asleep. She looked so peaceful and beautiful in her sleep. I was really starting to have feelings for this girl. I was about to get up and carry her to her room when she started panting and her face scrunched up. She started to move around and Cc frowned down at her. He went to shake her shoulders when she started to whimper. "Momma!" She said. She kept saying it over and over again an then she started to hyperventilate. She ended up falling off of Cc's lap and onto the floor but she still didn't wake up. She was thrashing now an her cries were getting louder. Cc ran to get Sammi and Jinxx and I kept trying to wake her up. I screamed at her hit her shook her but nothing worked. Jinxx and Sammi came running in with Cc hot on their heels. Soon everyone else came down from their rooms as things got louder. By now I was holding Tora to my chest to keep her from hurting herself. Then she really started screaming. Damn this little girl had some lungs. Sammi, Ella, Juliet and Jinxx were in front of her trying to wake her up while Andy and Jake asked Cc what had happened. "No mom run!" She screamed and then she was still for a moment before throwing back her head and letting forth a noise that I ha never heard before. It was like someone had taken and given a voice to pure rage and sadness. The whole house shook and she had us all on our knees covering our ears in pain. Just as soon as it started it stopped and she curled up into a small whimpering ball. I moved foreword cautiously to touch her and her eyes fluttered before she relaxed into me. I picked her up and held her close as she whimpered. "Ashley I'm scared." She whispered. "I know baby. I know. You'll be okay. Everything will be okay." I whispered into her hair. She was so small. I realized. Normally you wouldn't notice it because he always held herself so proudly. But as she lay in my arms shaking and whimpering I saw how small she really was. "Momma?" She whispered. "Darlin. It's okay. Don't worry about her. You know she would hate to see you like this." I told her. "No momma Sammi." She whispered back. As soon as the words were out of her mouth Sammi was there. She pulled Tora from me and cradled her with tears in her eyes as she rocked back and forth with her new daughter in her lap. Soon Tora lifted her head and reached for Jinxx and he to was there in an instant. I realized then that those three had bonded so completely in such a short amount of time. They had truly become a family. You could tell by the way that Jinxx and Sammi hovered protectively over Tora's shaking body. I guess it made sense. Sammi and Jinxx had always wanted kids but about a year ago Sammi found out that she couldn't. And then Tora came along and fixed all of that. She had fixed their problem and they were helping her with hers. Soon Tora was looking around again. I assumed it was for Cc or someone else until her golden gaze found mine. She looked at me with sad eyes and mouthed a thank you. She was still shaking but not as badly. She curled back into Sammi's arms and asked her something. Sammi nodded and handed her over to Jinxx who sat back and rocked her gently while rubbing her back. Sammi walked over to Andy Juliet Jake and Ella and started talking quietly with them. Soon all of them were nodding in agreement at something and Ella and Juliet kissed their boyfriends before walking back over to Tora's frail body. They all crouched down next to her and then Jinxx was helping her stand up. She and the girls slowly walked up to her room and I heard the door shut and the lock click. I looked curiously at Jinxx who was now sitting on the couch with his head in his hands. "Is she okay man?" I asked sitting down next to him. He looked up and nodded "She will be. She just needs some time." He said. I sighed and then changed the question. "Are YOU okay?" I asked and he sighed. "It was hard seeing her hurting like that. Like I felt like my soul was being ripped out. I just want to protect her man. She's like a blessing to me and Sammi and we haven't even known her that long. But I swear I feel like I raised her all her life and that she's my kid." He said and I nodded. Jake decided to enter the conversation. "Welcome to the wonderful world of being a father. And no offense but with a scream like that are you sure she isn't Andy's kid?" He said jokingly. We all knew he was trying to lighten the mood and it worked. We all smirked and then winced at the memory. "Hell no. Even I don't have lungs like that. If I tried that I would probably ruin my vocal chords and never be able to talk again." Andy said with a smirk. Soon we were all sitting around in silence. "Hey what are they doing up there anyways?" Cc asked. Jinxx looked at him. "Tora said she wanted to be alone with the girls tonight so were camping out down here and they are staying up there tonight." Jinxx said. Out of nowhere I started to laugh. I got questioning looks from all and finally had to explain. "Well I imagine they are having girl talk up there. Aren't you guys worried what Sammi Juliet and Ella are going to fill her mind with. Not to mention they will eventually get on the topic of you guys." I told them. The three guys cursed and then looked fearfully upstairs. I looked at my watch and realized it was only eight at night. To pass the night we ended up drinking beer and playing video games before falling asleep. The next morning we woke up before the girls came downstairs but when they did I knew my assumptions from last night were true. Tora was dressed and ready to get enrolled at her new school. It seemed that a night with the girls was what she needed because she looked better. As soon as she saw Andy her cheeks reddened and she looked at Juliet before bursting into laughter. I caught what she was mumbling in between bouts of laughter. "Batman to the rescue?" I raised and eyebrow but when Andy heard her he managed to invent a new shade of red before looking at Juliet. "Please tell me you didn't actually tell her that story did you?" Andy pleaded. Juliet looked at him and shrugged before she to started laughing. It didn't end there though. Apparently stories were told of all of us Jake got a remark whispered in his ear that him chocking on air. I smirked but then Tora looked at me and Cc smiling. I raised an eyebrow. I didn't like the look on her face. "Don't laugh Purdy. I know what you and Cc did on the tour bus doll." She said and I blanched. "Your lieing" I said. She walked foreword and leaned up to whisper in my ear. "Try me sparkles." She said and I gasped. When she turned around to look at Jinxx she blanched before hiding her face in her hair. I didn't even want to know what she knew about him. Soon though. She and Sammi left to take her to school. I sighed. This was going to be a long day.

So this chappie took me a surprisingly long time to write because. I'm a loser and kept hitting writers block. But it's finally here. Please tell me what you think and give me ideas/requests because I can't think of anything for my next chappie. I love you all.
