Nonstop To Nowhere - Fallen Angel (Tome I)
Forced memory loss
After 12:00 hour of flight, the three friends had finally arrived in New York. Skylar, who was thinking of spending times in the Big Apple, rushed to the exit door but was immediately held back by Jenny who blindfolded her.
- Jen why are you blindfolding me? Skylar asked confused.
- It's not in New York that we spend our holidays but elsewhere and this headband is for you to doubt anything.
The three friends hurried all the same because they had only ten minutes before embarking towards the second plane. They settled down again and listened to the safety rules when Skylar turned to her two friends, her eyes still blindfolded.
- You still don't want to tell me where are we going?
- What don't you understand in the word surprise?
- Oh la la ... Is it still far?
- There is 5:30 hour of flight I think.
- Pfff ....
5:30 hour of flight later the girls had finally arrived at destination but Skylar still had to keep her headband to the despair of the latter who was more than fed up by walking into people or poles. Jenny and Cassie were not really good guides. They embarked a few minutes later in a taxi that stopped after a good hour later of drive.
- Sky you can finally take off your blindfold !
The blonde girl immediately complied and looked around her. She was in front of the reception of a rather luxurious hotel while wondering in where she could be. The answer to her question was immediately known when the receptionist asked them for their reservation.
- Do not tell me you dared to take me to L.A ?!
- No, they moved L.A in Vegas ...
- Did you thought that we might fall on him ! Paniqued Skylar.
- Oh it would surprise me, BVB is on tour in Europe ... Cassie said then.
- Oh well, in this case ... You're the best! Skylar answered, hugging her friends.
The blonde calmed down a bit, realizing that she had no reason to panic because he was thousands of miles away and therefore thousands of miles away from her. Tired of this long journey, the three friends ate at the hotel restaurant and then moved to their respective rooms.
The next day, Skylar woke up early enough. It was already daylight and the sun was present announcing a hot and sunny day. She took advantage of the luxurious bathroom taking a long and good bath and then poked around in her suitcase to see what Jenny and Cassie had been able to take. They had taken all her summer dresses. There was no teeshirt or jeans, in short, she had no choice but to put on a dress that she added with a pair of pumps because it was also the only type of shoe, except her sneakers from the day before, that her friends had taken.
The girls knocked on her door and went off to explore the city. They stopped around noon in a downtown restaurant because Jenny's stomach was literally starved. However Skylar wasn't fooled, she saw that her friends were behaving more and more strangely and her doubt was confirmed when they both left and at the same time to got to the bathroom.
The dancer find herself a little dumb alone at this table. People would occasionally look in her direction for her rather elegant outfit for the chosen restaurant, then she pulled out her phone and started surfing the social networks a sign of profound boredom from the blonde girl who hated this kind of stuff when a most familiar voice reaches her ears.
- Is this place free?
She looked up and saw Andy in front of her. As childish and bastard as it may seem, she quickly came to the conclusion that she would make him believe that she didn't remember him because she wanted to know how he would act with her. She hadn't given herself enough time to think about him or rather about them ... But one thing was sure, she didn't want to suffer again ... She just needed time.
- May I know who you are ? She said, frowning slightly with a confused expression on her face.
- You hum ... You don't remember ... me ...? He asked, automatically losing his smile.
This question had stabbed him in the heart, yet Jenny told him she has almost get back all her memory. To believe that it was only a lure. Since his separation with Skylar, he was completely lost, the announcement of the accident had annihilated him but the fact that she doesn't remember him or their story had finished him off.
- No sorry ... Well ... Were we... hum close ...? She ventured to ask.
- Yes ... Hum ...
Skylar saw him pinch his lip as if to hold back his emotions and it was her turn to feel a twinge in her heart. She loved him, she had never stopped loving him, and seeing him like that broke her a little, but she showed nothing.
- Are you from L.A ? Skylar asked casually.
- Yes why ? Replied Andy confused.
- I'm on holiday for a few days maybe we could see each other and try to refresh my memory ... she said with a weak smile.
- With pleasure.
- You have my number ? She asked in a little too happily.
- Of course...
- Super ... Oh well, my friends are back! She said seeing Jenny and Cassie came back.
- I'll leave you then, I ... Um, could you call tomorrow ...?
- Of course...
Andy left the restaurant when at the same time Jenny and Cassie arrived at the table where Skylar was waiting for them.
- How did you dare to do that to me ?! Said Skylar not knowing if she should be angry or happy that her friends made this thing up.
- You needed it and he knows for your accident ... Anyway, what did you talk about?
- Nothing at all, I pretended I didn't recognize him because I needed time for myself and see how he would react. He said he'll call me tomorrow ... Skylar said, smiling stupidly.
Seeing Andy again made Skylar react and she realized the stupid thing she had made by leaving him but she felt so betrayed that she couldn't miss it. However, she wasn't going to forgive him as quickly as he could think.
@Red Phoenix77
Yeah I know too and that's true, that's absolutely not cool. Anyways, thank you to tell it to me because it could have been the case but don't worry it's all my works.
