Nonstop To Nowhere - Fallen Angel (Tome I)
Prologue
Skylar is 25 years old. She's French. After several years of dancing in a dance school in Nice, she decided to perform her technique and discover other dance styles by taking a one way ticket to San Diego. A long thoughtful choice that had been the source of some arguments with her parents. Indeed, at the time, she was only 18 years old. However after a long family discussion to weigh the pros and cons, she left to realize her dream.
Apart from all this and her passion for dancing, Skylar is a big fan of music. More specifically 50's rock'n'roll, rockabilly and from time to time heavy metal. Indeed, since a young age, she is rocked by bands such as Elvis Presley, Stray Cats, Motörhead, Scorpions and many more. Nevertheless, because of her sport, Skylar has forged herself a rich musical culture. According to her, all the music styles are interesting and possess their charms even if she has her well-defined comfort zone. She also knows how to tweak some notes on her guitar. Coming from a musician family, with a harmonist grandfather, a guitarist mother, a drummer dad, a pianist cousin and many others, her parents had pushed her to play an instrument, although they respected her passion, but she had never really hooked. Instead, she preferred to listen to the artists and dance to their songs instead of playing their compositions.
As for love, we can't say that Skylar is very lucky. Her relationships consisted of lies, deception and cheating. She had ended up finding love with someone, but he had become violent and abused her. At that time, she was only 22. Since that day, she has promised herself that she will not be so naive and let a man dominate her.
Her best friend, Jenny, is a little sister she never had. More than a confidante, they are as thick as thieves. They always do everything together. They met each other by pur luck in a pastry shop. Jenny is the same age as Skylar and graduated from a photography school. The only difference that remain between the two friends is their musical taste. Nevertheless, despite this small difference, this meeting was the beginning of a beautiful friendship.
Notes
Being French and dyslexic, I apologize in advance for the small mistakes that you can find, because even with extreme attention and rereading, some mistakes can pass through my vigilance.
@Red Phoenix77
Yeah I know too and that's true, that's absolutely not cool. Anyways, thank you to tell it to me because it could have been the case but don't worry it's all my works.
