Getting to know all about you

Elizabeth’s POV
I giggled at CC, and lightly pecked Andy on the lips. “Well, why don’t we all go grab some food and we can all get to know each other. I know this place a few blocks down. It’s to die for, plus some cool local kids are playing there tonight.” I replied.
Andy gave me a look of speculation before all the guys started to murmur in agreement about the idea. I knew that it was a bad idea, I mean, first of all it’s a bar, second of all the kids in the band may recognize me. The thought scared me. I couldn’t have any of the other guys find out.
A couple hours later, everyone was ready to head out. I checked my wallet for my fake ID as I headed out the door.
My mind wandered, and thought about all the things that will happen, like Andy leaving, and then me leaving. What would we do, once I was in school? Once he was starting a new record? I shoved the thoughts aside, as I ordered some light, local brew.
“So, we didn’t even catch your name back there.” Jinxx said once everyone was settled in.
“Oh, sorry. I’m Elizabeth Stewart.” I responded as Andy took my hand in his. I blushed at the cliché and subtle sign of affection.
The guys kept sending me the average ‘getting to know you’ questions when Jake threw the question that I knew would get asked, but I didn’t want it to. “So, what college do you go to?”
I could feel Andy tensing up. Great, he doesn’t want anyone to know either. So much for “let’s show the world that we don’t give a shit.”
I tried to answer as quickly and smoothly as possible. “Um, just a little private school in New Hampshire. Nothing too exciting.” I thought I had failed until he simply nodded and went on with the conversation.
I could practically hear Andy loosen when everyone kept going on with the questions without skeptical glances. We had been talking for so long that I hadn’t even noticed one of the local bands that had already gone on and off the miniscule plank of wood that the place called a stage. “Hey, Elizabeth! Man, it’s been forever.” Shit. I didn’t recognize the voice, but I knew it had to have been one of my 8th grade friends.
I got up from where I was sitting at the bar and walked over to the kid waving at me from the patio. I saw his face and automatically knew who it was. “Oh my god, Mattie! What the fuck’s been up with you?” I exclaimed as I pulled him into a hug.
“Not much. And, correct me if I’m wrong, but the last time I checked you were my age,” he said with a smirk on his face.
I blushed. “It’s a long story that involves a lot of people.”
He laughed before replying, “Well, text me this long story, and maybe we could hang out before you go god knows where to be the star mathlete of our idiotic town.” He handed me a business card, and I giggled. Of course Mattie had a business card for his rock band.
Then the realization hit me that there wasn’t time to hang out. I left in 3 weeks. Andy left in 2, and I was dragged back into the thoughts that had plagued my mind earlier that evening. He trotted off with his band and I went back inside the bar.
As soon as I sat down I felt Andy leaning into me and nudging me like a cat. “Are you drunk yet, or do you just like pretending that you are a pesky as all fuck cat?” I asked him sarcastically.
He groaned into my shoulder. “Babe, who was that?” he asked completely ignoring my question.
I giggled, I was glad that his jealousy instinct was to act like a cat, I guess. “Just an old friend.” I responded.
After that I kept staring at the half empty glass infront of me. I guess I just wasn’t in the mood for drinks today. I was glad that I was sober enough to drive when I looked up at the clock on the other side of the dark walls. I had to take a second look to confirm that it really had already become one in the morning. I whipped out my phone and glanced at the screen. Shit, I had no clothes for the next day, and my mom was probably sending off a search party. “Shit, I have to go,” I said quickly.
