Y/N's P.O.V
I looked at our surroundings. We seemed to be up on some kind of rooftop. It was flat and made of concrete; up here we were safe. I backed away from the edge, walking to the center of the roof and sitting down. Shrugging my backpack off my shoulders, I looked at the guys who had now followed suit, sitting around me.
"So... what do we do now?" CC wondered. He looked at us all in question, expecting some sort of answer from anybody.
"Well... we need protection," Ashley spoke up.
"And food," Jinxx mumbled, his stomach growling loudly.
"Hold up. We need a plan, we can't just go wandering about looking for stuff in the wide-open space," I piped up, interrupting them. Five pairs of eyes turned to me, expecting more. "So..." I searched my mind for something. Anything at all. "Turn out your pockets. We need to see what supplies we already have,"
I grabbed my bag from behind me and the guys started rifling through their pockets, pulling out various little trinquets they had kept away. Unzipping my bag, I grabbed out various items.
-phone
-small packet of salt and vinegar chips
-apple
-chapstick
-$50.00
-BVB t-shirt
I placed them in the middle of the circle we had made together, looking at what the guys had scavenged. Jake had 2 guitar plectrums, a toothpick and 10 cents. Jinxx had a packet of mentos, 1 guitar plectrum and a bobby pin. Ashley had 3 guitar plectrums and a mini sharpie marker. CC had nothing and Andy had a small packet of lozenges, a mini sharpie marker and a handkerchief.
"Here, give me your bag," CC said. I did so and he put everything in it except for the BVB shirt, which he quickly checked the size of and put on his slim frame.
"What's your name?" Andy asked, looking at me.
"Y/N," I answered simply, looking in the direction of the concert arena.
"That's a nice name," Andy replied, sighing. I looked at him, as did the others. He put his head in his hands.
"Hey man we'll get through this, okay?" Ashley smiled at him, rubbing his back with his hand.
"But what if we don't get out of this, Ash? How the fuck are we supposed to get out of a zombie apocalypse with all six of us alive? Hell, we don't even know if it will ever end! We haven't even got any protection!" Andy, exclaimed, looking Ashley dead in the eye.
"We'll get protection Andy, don't worry," Jake assured.
"Yeah," Jinxx agreed, nodding his head.
"Oh and how do you expect us to be able to find it? How are we even going to get off of this damned rooftop?" Andy pointed out, silencing everyone.
Everything was quiet, they had nothing to say to that.
"Police Station," I murmured, causing all heads to look straight at me.

"What?" Andy said.
"We can go to a police station, there would be lots of weaponry there. Guns, ammo, armor... anything. Even knives," I explained, looking at him.
"That's a great idea Y/N," Jinxx agreed, nodding his head again.
"How do we get there?" Cc asked, looking at me from the side of me.
"I know the way, and I bet you I can even figure out a way off this roof too," I told them, looking at Andy and grinning slightly.
"How?" Jake asked me, looking around him. "I'm sorry to tell you this Y/N, but I don't think we're at an advantage point here,"
He squinted his eyes, looking into the darkness. I had to admit, he had a good point there. We were stuck on an incredibly tall building, with what seemed like no means of getting down to the ground, the only source of light was coming from the clearing we had just escaped from, we were in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and we had no protection and almost no food. I could tell the guys were tired and hungry like I was, and sleeping in the middle of winter on a rooftop with no means of warmth didn't really appeal to me that much. I was at a loss for words.
I stayed quiet, staring down at the ground. Cc put his hand on my shoulder and rubbed it with his thumb, comforting me. Sighing, I replied to Jake's statement. I replied the simplest answer I could.
"I don't know..." I scrunched my eyes shut and breathed through my nose silently, taking in the musty and damp midnight air.
I tried to think of something, anything to get us through the night. We could sleep around each other for warmth! I opened my eyes in a hurry, alarming Cc who was next to me. I had my plan.
"Let's sleep around each other for warmth, and in the morning when we wake up we can sort out our rations and have something to eat. After that, we'll decide how to get down from this roof and how to get to the police station safely. After we have figured out how we're going to do that, we'll plan out our next moves," I looked at Jake, hope filling my irises.
"You have all the answers, don't you?" Jake grinned at me, and I could see a glimmer in his eye.
I smiled shyly, looking down at the ground again. Although I had no feelings of embarrassment or humiliation, I blushed, because I wasn't necessarily used to receiving compliments. Especially since it was stated by one of my favourite lead guitarists of all time.
"I don't know about you guys, but I'm pretty damn tired, and we're definitely going to need our energy tomorrow," Jinxx yawned loudly, covering his mouth in respect of us. "Why don't we get this sleeping arrangement in order?"
He looked at us, wanting us all to take action and get this sleeping thing going.
"I agree, sleep is definitely the thing for me right now," Cc stood up, stretching his arms above his head.
Andy nodded his head in agreement, staying silent and standing up with Ashley. Jake, Jinxx and I stood up too. Looking for a place to lie down and sleep, I decided a place on the roof that had barely any gravel or debris. I gestured towards the place I spotted and the guys followed me, making themselves comfortable on the hard concrete.
We all pulled each other in close, savouring each other's body warmth. It was so cold, I felt like I was going to freeze to death. If it wasn't for Ashley holding me tight and close to him, I think I probably would have.
It was a little while before I got to sleep, but eventually I became used to the hard surface and I slept as sound as a bunny surrounded by the guys.

Notes

A little bit of a filler chapter, but I think it still covered some major notes for the progression of this story. I hope you enjoyed :)
