What The... ZOMBIES!!! (Black Veil Brides x Y/N)

Three

Y/N's P.O.V

As my brain processed what was going on, random people burst through the entrance doors, heading straight for the crowd. Once I had realized that these were zombies, and a possible apocalypse was in action, adrenaline rushed through my veins and I was immediately pushing my way through the mosh. I couldn't believe that no one else had noticed yet that there were actual real ZOMBIES wandering throughout the arena with them.
I stood still for a second, thinking of what I could do to get out of there alive.

Then my mind clicked.

I pushed and pushed through the crowd, eventually getting to my destination: the toilets. Running up the steps that lead to the female bathroom, I looked behind me quickly to make sure there were no zombies following me. There weren't, but I knew I didn't have much time before they would make their way to me. I pushed the bathroom door open and looked around, trying to find a way to escape; or at least something to defend myself with.

My eyes landed on a small-medium sized window in the top left corner of the room. It looked big enough for me to squeeze through, but How would I get up to it? I wasn't exactly a tall person. If I did manage to get up to it, how would I get down to the ground, and, would there be more zombies where I landed?

All these questions running through my mind were leading up to a major panic attack. More questions kept coming, over and over again. Would the band be okay? What if my mum had been hurt? What if she was a zombie herself? My breathing was quick, and I could feel my heart hammering against my chest. I took a deep breath in slowly, closing my eyes. I let the breath out and counted to three. Opening my eyes, feeling a bit calmer than I was, I ventured towards the toilet stall closest to the window. I opened the door and looked inside, my eyes locking on the pad bin. I stepped into the stall and grabbed at it, dragging it with me towards the window. Setting it down in front of my exit, I slowly and steadily began to ease my way on top of the unstable bin.

I reached up further with my hands, clinging onto the windowpane. I could probably use my upper body strength to lift myself up and get out of this place, if I tried hard enough. This was going to be a huge energy-decreasing task. I really hoped there would be no zombies outside below the window. That would completely ruin all my efforts. I had no idea what was going to be there, but I sure hoped it wasn't any zombies.

Just as I was about to start lifting myself up onto the small window ledge, I heard screams coming from downstairs where the audience was. These weren't excited screams, these were screams of pure terror. I quickly again focused my attention onto lifting myself up, and I pulled with my arms, using the strength in my legs to jump up and get my upper body through the window. I looked down below as I heard the pad bin fall to the floor behind me. I saw 4 black buses, musical equipment scattered about, a few tables and chairs, a few lights to light up the place, a brick wall at one end of the little clearing and a chicken-wire fence at the other.

No zombies.

I looked around for something near that would help me get down, since I would most probably break something if I fell, and to my luck there was a pipe running down the side of the building about three feet away from the window. I reached out and grabbed onto it, gently pulling the rest of me through the window. Holding tightly onto the pipe, I swung my legs out, colliding with it. I hung on with all my might, refusing to look down. I squinted my eyes shut, sliding down a little bit. I was terrified of falling. I was scared that I didn't look right and that there actually were zombies down in the blocked-off alleyway. I dug my shoes into the pipe, stopping myself. I needed to calm down again. Taking in deep breaths and letting them out, I started my count to three. One... two... thr-

"Pull it shut!" A voice. I opened my eyes wide and quickly looked down, only for my eyes to open even wider.

"Here, catch!" The guitarist yelled, throwing a metal bar to the drummer who caught it swiftly, wedging it in the handles of the double door. He and the singer took their hands away from the door, walking backwards to join the rest of their band members. "It won't hold forever, but it will have to do for now,"

They all stared at the door, their faces ridden with shock and their breathing fast and heavy. I decided to catch their attention.

"Hey! Up here!" I yelled, tears stinging my eyes. They all looked up at me. That's when the tears began to slide down my face. "Please, help me!" I had always been absolutely horrified by heights, and it didn't help that these zombies would probably kill me soon, so I was pretty upset. I was crying against the metal pipe, holding on really tight so I wouldn't fall to my doom.

"Okay.. uh, listen to me! You're going to have to slide down! I'll catch you!" Jake yelled.

"I can't!" I yelled back.

"Listen, you're going to have to otherwise we can't help you! I promise I will catch you!" He replied.

I waited a few seconds, dreading myself for existing at that time in history. I closed my eyes. It was then that I began to slide. It hurt like a bitch. The insides of my thighs were burning even though I was wearing jeans. Just before I fell to my death I felt two arms wrap around me tightly, preventing the fatal landing from occurring. I opened my eyes to look up at who had caught me, and saw Jake holding me tightly. Standing up, I picked up my backpack that had fallen off my back when I was sliding down. I put it on quickly, looking at all five of the guys that were standing around me.

"Are you okay?" Ashley asked me. I nodded slowly.

"Look, we don't know you, but I think you should come with us, okay? We're going to need as many people as we can get," Jake said, his breathing just as shaky as the others.
I nodded my head quickly. There was no way I was going to allow myself to be alone during this. Wiping the tears away from my eyes and off my face, I counted to three again.

"How are we going to get away? That door doesn't look like it's going to hold forever," Just as I said that, the hand of one of the zombies crashed through one of the windows on the door, scaring the living shit out of all of us. I scanned our surroundings once again, making sure to not miss out on a single detail.

"Wait, what's in your bag?" CC asked, keeping his eyes on the slowly breaking door.

"I'm not sure, my mum packed it. I know she packed a little bit of food and some money though. That's all I know," I replied, looking at the door as well. I was freaking out big time. We didn't have much time left before the door would be broken down, and I'm pretty sure we all felt like we were going to die right there and then.
I looked at a table lying around. I had an idea.

"Guys, help me move this table to the door, they're going to break it down!" I rushed over to the nearest table, Jinxx following right behind me. He helped me lift it up and we placed it against the door. I dodged a zombie hand when it came crashing through the other window, moving backwards with Jinxx.

We had to move quick, and I desperately wanted to get out of harms way. I looked at the chicken wire fence, wondering if we could climb over the top and if there would be any zombies on the other side. But then I remembered that chicken wire is very sharp and could seriously injure us if we attempted to climb it, so I scratched that idea. That's when I saw a ladder. The only problem was, it was half way up the side of the opposite building. We wouldn't be able to reach it! Unless...

"Guys! There's a ladder up there! If we move one of those big speakers we can reach it!" I pointed to the ladder, showing them our escape.

No one had to say anything more than that. All of the guys ran straight to one of the speakers I was referring to, and lifted it up together (with a bit of struggle). They carried it to below the ladder in a hurry, it was obvious that they were just as desperate as I was to get out of there. Who wouldn't blame them? We were on the very edge of dying in a sea of disgusting, horrible zombies.

Placing it down carefully, they began to climb on top of it and up the ladder. I still wasn't tall enough to reach, though. Andy must have realized this because he came and picked me up into his arms, carrying me over to the speaker. He gently placed me on top and I immediately started climbing the ladder.

BANG!!

The door. The bloody door. Fuck! I climbed faster, hearing Andy climbing right behind me. Would the ladder be able to hold both of our weight? I hoped so. I eventually reached the top, grabbing hold of Cc's outstretched hand. He pulled me up and I stepped onto the roof, joining the other guys. I turned around to see if Andy had made it, only to see Ashley pulling him up by his arms and Andy struggling to get onto the roof. The ladder was on the ground! It didn't hold our weight, but at least Andy hadn't fallen down with it.

We all stood there gasping for air. Damn, that was close. Too close. What if Andy had fallen down with the ladder? That was something I didn't want to think of. What mattered was that Andy was okay and alive. What mattered was that we were all okay and alive.

Notes

Holy shit I haven't updated this story in almost a year! Heh, sorry about that. I went through a bit of a mental depression, but i'm okay now! :D
