I watched as the waves hit the shore. I loved this beach it was the same one cc took me on a date. I was sitting in the sand with cc behind me.

" isn't it pretty?" I asked and I felt cc nod.

" just like you" He whispered In my ear.

I turned around and looked Into his eyes.The ones I fell in love with before I fucked it all up.

He smiled and brushed the hair out of my face with his soft fingers.

" what are you thinking about in that head of yours?" He asked smirking

" Just how things were before i messed it up"I whispered and I saw his eyes light up.

" really?" He asked and I nodded. He smiled before looking at my lips again. He leaned in and my breath caught in my throat.

I leaned in also and just as our lips were about to kiss I heard my door slamming open. My eyes shot open and I groaned. Just a dream. But holy shit that seemed so real.


" Jess!! James took my pants and underwear!" I heard Matt yell. I groaned and opened my eyes to see Matt naked from the waist down and James next to him smugly holding his clothes.

I quickly looked away.

" fucking Christ! James give him his clothes Matt put your fucking pants on!" I said into my pillow. I heard smacking then heavy footsteps down the hall.

" fucking children" I muttered getting up and closing my door. I checked my phone and saw I had a new message.

Cc- hey, morning beautiful :), when you wake up come over and bring te beasts were going to hang out.
Sent 1 hour ago.

I smiled and went to the door. I opened it a crack and yelled out.


" GET READY AND BE DOWN STAIRS IN 5 MINUTES TO GO TO CC' AND ASHLEY'S HOUSE OR ILL BEAT YOU" I screamed and heard moans of protest. Ashley moved in with cc last year apparently, I feel bad for cc he must be up all night with Ashley and his girls.

I closed the door again and locked it before I went to my dresser to get ready. I put on faded red skinny jeans and johns ' vans shirt I never got rid of. I looked at the picture of us at band camp and smiled.

I made sure I had his necklace and applied some eyeliner before I straightened my hair. I stood in the mirror and smiled alittle. I've grown since I first met the guys. My hair was the same brown color but I had a nose ring now and johns name tattooed on my other wrist. I still remember that day jake came into my life . I often think about what would happen If he never did, where would I be? Would I still be alive?what about John?


I shook my head. The past is the past, what happened happened and I couldn't be more grateful. I grabbed my phone and walked out the door. I heard loud laughs in the kitchen so I assumed they were all ready. I skipped down the stairs and sat by the door putting my shoes on.

" let's go!" I screamed as I stood up fixing my shirt and grabbing my keys. The boys walked out and i smiled walking out the door.

We got to cc's house in 10 minutes. once i opened the door Andy grabbed me. I let out a yell as he picked me up and ran.

" Andy!" I yelled as he ran into the living room where everyone was laughing.

" Hey jess!" everyone shouted. i smiled .

He put me down and hugged me.


" hey Jess!" Sammi said hugging me. I laughed

" see that's better than mister kidnapper over there" I said poiting to Andy once she let go.

" I missed you" he wined and I laughed sitting next to jake and ells on the couch.

" it's been 3 days you go threw seperation anxiety" I said chuckling.

" he does" Juliet said causing Andy to pout as he sat down next to her.

I laughed and cc sat next to me as the others started joking around

" hey" he said and I smiled. I couldn't get that dream out of my mind.

" hey" I said back

I looked around and noticed someone was missing.

" where's Ashley?" I asked .

" still sleeping" jinxx said and I checked the clock. It was 2, he was usually up by 12.

" is he okay?" I asked and they Shrugged.

" I don't know" Cc said just as I heard a huge bang. I looked up and saw Matt and Andy wrestling. I laughed.

" hes ticklish Andy!" I yelled and Andy got a smug grin.

" shit no no! I give up! Fuck you Jess" Matt muttered untangling from Andy and jumping up returning to the chair. Andy laughed going back To sit by Juliet just as Ashley walked in looking like crap. His hair was a mess and he had on shorts and no shirt.

Jake looked over at him chuckling,

"You're alive! And finally awake, we were starting to get a little worried. It's pretty late, Ash, were you really still sleeping?" jake asked raising an eyebrow causing everyone to laugh.

"Yeah, I don't know I guess I was way more tired than I thought" he muttered laughing nervously . Jake shrugged and went back to talking to the guys. cc got up and went to the bathroom as ashley came and sat between me and jake. He sat quietly starring off in space. Okay this isn't Ashley.

Hey Ash?" I asked quietly so only he could hear me.

"Hm?" He asked looking over at me.

"Are you okay? You seem kind of, out of it." i said looking at him concerned.

"What? Oh, yeah, sorry just thinking about something." He said sighing

I turned slightly more towards him.

"What are you thinking about that you're so lost in thought?"

He looked at me hesitantly and sighed,

"Okay, I'll tell you.."

" I had this dream, there was a beautiful girl in it"

I laughed

" no Jess, it was weird I felt like I was in love it felt so real, she wasnt like a whore she was real we were laughing an having fun and we kissed and it just felt so real."

I nodded. Shit. If only there was a girl like that for him.

"She was blue haired and She was so beautiful, she wore a peach lace skater dress that complimented her figure, thigh highs with a single white frilly rose garter that I found more adorable than sexy, some brown leather vintage boots, a few rings, white rose plugs with a few other small earrings, ad her eyes were a Georgia's brown with green tints" he said his eyes lighting up . That discription seemed so familiar

" her name was Melissa" he said and my eyes winded. Hoy fuck it couldn't be?

" Jess what is it?" He asked and I looked around at everybody still talking.

" ash come help me int he kitchen" I said jolting up and grabbing his arm dragging him to the kitchen.

I quickly pulled up my phone to when I retweeted something a fan commented on one of my mean girl quotes.

" Jess what-" I cut him off by clicking on the girls profile , pulling up a recent picture of her holding a cat and showing him the phone.


He stared at the photo for a while, his eyes so grew so big I thought they were going to pop out of his head.

"Oh my god.. It's her." He croaked out after awhile

"Ashley is that her?" I asked in a whisper .

"J-jess, that's her, that's the girl!" He scream whispered at me.

'Holy shit, she is real' I thought.

" okay this this is freaky" I said putting my phone away.

" umm yes" he said starring at the floor.


" ash..?" I asked

" I just don't understand, what the fuck does this mean?" He asked looking up At the ceiling.

" I don't know " I mumbled.

" she's so beautiful in my dream I felt the love I could feel it and seeing she's real is even more.." He said putting his hads on his face. I went behind him and hugged him.

" it's okay"I said and he sighed turning around and giving me a hug.

" I know I'm just shocked" he said and I nodded. I guess I should tell him about cc.

" want to hear a story?" I asked and he nodded.

" let's go on a ride and talk so we don't get interrupted though " he said and I nodded. We walked to the living room.

" everything okay? " cc asked and we nodded.

" we're going to the store to get some stuff, need anything?" Ashley asked

" nah were good" they all said


" I'm going to change ill be back" Ashley said and I nodded leaning against the doorway.

I saw cc give me a look and I took out my phone shaking it signaling for him to text me.

Cc- what's going on?
Me- nothing just Ashley had a strange dream he's kinda shooken up about so were gana talk
Cc- oh okay, hey want to go get some food tomorrow night?

I froze. This wasn't a date right? He didn't like me again. He couldn't.

Me- yeah sounds good.

I sent the text just as Ashley walked down in skinny jeans and a black jack Daniels shirt without the sleeves.

" let's go" he said and I nodded.

" bye!" Jake shouted and I laughed.

" see ya" I said walking out the living room and down the hall to the front door. Ashley grabbed his keys and we walked out to the car and got in. He started driving.

" so about that story?" He asked and I sighed.

I told him about my dream with cc and he pulled into Walmart . He cut the engine and turned to me.

" holy shit that's weird" he said and I nodded slowly looking at the floor. I wish it was real. Why did I fuck it up.

" hey.. Jess?" He asked

" mhhm?" I asked

" you okay?" He asked rubbing my shoulder.

I felt a tear fall down my cheek.

" oh Jessie" Ashley said wiping my eyes and giving me the best hug he could in a the car.

" I fucked it up, why the hell was I so stupid if I didn't overreact ,me and him would still be together and I'd be happy" I sobbed into him. He rubbed my back.

"Jess it's not your fault you were hurt " he said

" I just I miss him I want him to be mine again." I said and he sighed pulling away. He wiped my face and grabbed my arms making me look at him.

" listen , you two are perfect for each other maybe that dream meant something just like how mine showed that Melissa is real, Jess if its meant to be, which I know it is, you'll be happy soon" he said smirking and I smiled lightly.

" hey there it is. Come on " he said rubbing my shoulder and getting out. I followed and he grabbed me in a hug. I smiled Into it.


" I love you kid, it was a terrible year without you" he said letting go and walking towards the store with his arm around my shoulder.

" I missed you too crack head" I said and he glared at me as we walked in the doors.

Maybe he's right. If it's meant to be, he'll come back. Right?
