" Jess!" I heard someone call and I moaned Into my pillow.

" up now it's 6!"I heard and someone shook me. I bolted up and smacked my head off the bunk.

" shit!" I called and heard laughing. I looked over and saw Andy laughing next to the bunk.

" come on you guys are on at 7 " he said and I groaned siting up . I checked my phone. 6, shit

" wow I really was tired" I mumbled getting up. Andy was starring at my bare arms.

He gave me a huge hug.

" go get dressed ill see you in there " he said and I followed him off the bus. I looked and saw the back of the small club in New York and then saw a line standing on the side. Some kids saw me and started waving. I smiled slightly and waved back.
I saw a glimpse of teal hair and immediately thought of Melissa, Ashley's dream girl, if only.

I walked onto my bus and saw James there all ready.

" shit Jess, go get ready sleepy head" he said and I laughed walking to the back. I went into the bathroom and out on ripped black skinny jeans . I put on johns asking Alexandria shirt and his necklace.

I looked at my arms and sighed not even bothering with bracelets. I applied eyeliner and brushed my hair out, straightedge it and left the bathroom. I tossed my phone In my bunk and then walked to the front. It was 6:30 already so I left the bus and started to the back entrance.

I walked through the hallway an to the dressing room. I opened the door and saw everybody in it.

" hey she awakens!" Cc called and got up giving me a kiss on the forehead.

" you slept so long" jinxx said and I laughed.

" I know" I muttered rubbing my arms . C kissed my cheek and rubbed my sides.

" I haven't slept in days though so" I said just as the door opened.

" hey guys time to come out oh and here Jess" Tyler said chucking a monster at me. I smiled

" your a saint" I breathed out and started out the door .

" we'll be out soon" jake called

" okay!" James said and we walked down the hall. We got backstage and heard people chanting our name.

" shit" Matt said and I laughed. They went to tune their guitars and I got tuned up. When we were done the others walked in.

" hey! Ready?!" Ashley asked and I nodded

" nervous as fuck" I muttered finishing my monster.

" 2 minutes!" They called and I breathed out. We got in the huddle.

" okay, so second and Sebring last okay? We're going to fucking kill it!!" James shouted.

" yeah!!" We shouted

"Let kill it!!" Matt shouted.

Cam screamed and I guess the crowd heard him because they started screaming.

We got out of the huddle and lined up. Cc gave me a kiss and the lights dimmed. The intro came on and cam ran out. We walked out and I grinned looking at the crowd.

" how the fuck are you?!" I screamed and they cheered.

" let's do this" I screamed and the into to reckless started.

The whole time the crowd was going wild cheering our lyrics .

" wow you guys are amazing" I said Into the mic smiling. They cheered .

" we got one last one for you but before I want to make a little speech.

James told me I should because purple would notice my arms.

" as many of you know I've had history with self harm. I'm sure many of you do too" I said and I saw people look at me knowingly.

" alright, I know it's tough but it's really no way to deal with it, at all, as you may have noticed yes my scars are new, but I realized it's not the way to go, I want everyone one of you to promise me you will ever self harm, and if you do, I want you to stop " I said and I heard cheers.

" this songs for you guys, keep your hopes up, thank you for coming out tonight, ill see some of you after if you want to stick around, this ones second and Sebring by of mice and men" I said and the song started. Matt came in with vocals and I jumped down going on the barrier touching as many hands as possible.

I stood up and starte my part. Towards the Ed of it I stood on the rail and when I screamed

" I hope I make you proud" I jumped of into the crowd starting the chorus.

I crowd surfed the rest of the song and then made my way out of the crowd I swear I saw the teal hair again.

The guards pulled me out just as the guys were throwing their pics and I was lifted on the stage.

" thank you goodnight!" I screamed and walked off .

" fucking amazing!" Andy called grabbing me. I laughed and cc grabbed me next kissing me.

" good job baby" he said and I smiled.

" I'm going to go get changed" I said and kissed him before making my way out of the steamy club.

I walked outside breathing in the cool air shaking my wet hair.

Matt came next to me

" amazing show jessy!" He sai an ran off to the bus. I laughed and slowly followed him.

I walked on and went to my bunk. I grabbed my cloths and went to the bathroom. i took a cold shower just rinsing my body and stepped out. I dried off and changed into fresh skinny jeans and a misfits shirt.

I walked out and checked the time. Shit I missed their set. I grabbed my hat and noticed the bus was empty . Probably meeting people.

I walked off and went towards the front when I heard sobbing. I checked in the alleyway and saw a girl crying. I couldn't make out a face in the light but I saw a black veil brides shirt on her.

" hey.." I spoke softly walking to her.

" you okay?" I asked standing In front of her. She looked up And I froze. It was Ashley's girl.

" no- oh my god your Jessica Pitts" she said freezing also.

I laughed

" Melissa right?" I asked and her mouth hung open.

" you- how do- my- name" she stumbled and I laughed holding out my hand. She shakily took it and I pulled her up.

" your the one who commented on my mean girls quote" I said and she smiled

" you Remember me? She asked and I nodded

" of course now what's wrong?" I asked and she sighed

" uh- long story" she said

" you can tell me if you want or is your ride going to be here soon?" I asked hoping she would stay.

" no, I uh, don't have anywhere to go or anyone with me" she said and I nodded

" come on" I said and she looked at me

" where?"

" to the bus silly" I said and started walking. She followed me.

We walked on and i closed the door.

" sit down get comfy , I'll be right back" I said and ran to the bunk. I grabbed my phone and unlocked it.

Me- Ashley in 10 minutes go to my bus okay?

Ash- why?

Me- emergency

I threw the phone on my bunk again an walked out to see her sitting in awe. I sat In front of her.

" talk" I said leaning back and she sighed.

" I ran away from home, well my ex, he kidnapped me and so I came here and I dont anymore money left, so I have no where to go and if I go back home hell find me" she said and started to cry. I got up and hugged her.

" hey it's okay" I said and she cried harder .I knew what I had to do.

" I just don't know what to do anymore" she said and I released the hug smiling.

" I do, listen ill take care of you, come on tour with me them come back to LA with us" I said her eyes grew wide

" I - are you sure?" She asked and I nodded.she grabbed me.

" thank you thank you thank you" she said and I laughed.

" we'll get your stuff on our way to the next date okay? I'm sure the guys won't mind another girl" I said and she smiled. Just then there was a knock.

" who is that?"

" Ashley"

" wait Ashley purdy?!" She asked and I nodded I went to the door and revealed Ashley.

" hey you okay what's wrong" he asked woridly

" im fine but there's someone I want you to meet." I said and guided him up the stairs. He walked in and froze starring at her. She was sitting there smiling

" Melissa, Ashley, meet Melissa" I said and he looked at me.

" you found her" he said into my ear and I nodded. He turned to Melissa and extended his hand.

" nice to meet you" he said smiling as she took it in awe. He pulled her into a hug.


" your even prettier than in my dreams "he said and she looked at him.

" we'll looks like you two have some talking to do, I'll be outside meeting fans" I said and walked away.
