Rebel Love Song (CC)
Chapter two
After about 20 minutes of walking and listening to music, I approach the gates and enter the pit of people. I grab the straps of my bag tightly and head directly to my locker, avoiding eye contact with anyone. “Hey, emo fag!” I heard the all familiar voice yell at me, followed by laughing. I sighed softly. Here we go again I think. I pretend I didn’t hear and continue shoving my stuff in my locker and grabbing the necessary shit I needed. Just before I had the chance to shut my locker and turn away, a shadow covered me and a hand slammed the door against the wall. I tried not to flinch but failed epically. “I said, hey emo fag.” I looked at them. “I-I didn’t hear you,” I mutter, lying. Bren rolled his eyes and knocked my books out of my hand. “Of course not. Not after listening to all the emo shit you listen too.” I knelt down to pick my things up when I was shoved to the floor roughly from behind. I landed on my hands and knees. “Awh, look at the little slut. On her hands and knees for Bren.” Bren’s girlfriend squealed out in her usual irritating voice. Before I had the chance to move, a kick to the face happened. I grunted as I covered my face. It wasn’t long until Bren, his girlfriend and a few others joined in on the tantalising acts.
I must have passed out because the next time I woke up, I was no longer at school. I covered my eyes for a few moments trying to recollect all my thoughts. Before long, a loud and annoying beeping sound penetrated my ear drums. I turned to my right and saw one of those monitors that show your heart beat etc. I sighed. Hospital. Great. “Ah, Miss Crew, you’re awake at last.” A nurse appeared out of nowhere. I didn’t say anything as I closed my eyes again trying to remember what happened. “You had a pretty lucky chance.” I glanced at her confused. The nurse, Daisy, frowned. “Do you remember anything?” I again, tried to remember but nothing successfully came back so I shook my head before gripping my head and groaning in pain. “Be careful dear, you’re still in pretty bad shape.” She patted my shoulder. Not long after, a doctor showed up and explained everything that had happened. Apparently, when I passed out at school, Bren and the rest didn’t stop beating me up in the hallway and they’d done so much damage that I’d been in the hospital for 3 days before I’d woken up.
