He checks the computer , and says , "Ah , yes , here it is ! Purdy , number seven twenty - nine .
Rupert ! Collect the bags and show these lovely folks to their suite ." He hands me the keycard , and a teenage boy picks up my bag , takes the handle of Dev's roller case , and says , "Please follow me , this way ."
We follow him to the elevator , and go to the top floor . The boy stops at the end of the hall , and says , "This is your room , folks . There is a room - service menu next to the phone , and if you require anything else , simply dial 1 for the front desk , and ask for Rupert , I will bring whatever you need . My shift is over at 2:00 AM , after that , ask for James ."
I tip him , and thank him for his help , and we step into the suite . I flip on the light switch , and Dev says , "Ash , this is unreal ! You didn't have to do anything this extravagant , you know . I would've been perfectly happy just hiding in the house with you for a few days . "
Our suite is quite large , with a flatscreen TV dominating the front room , and a large , overstuffed sectional sofa against the opposite wall , with a fully- stocked bar in the corner .
