Picture Perfect?

ASHLEY'S POV :

Last night was the single greatest night of my life ! I'm still having a hard time believing that I got this amazing woman to agree to marry me . I had no hesitation about posting the pictures that everyone took , I want everybody to know how important this is to me , I'm not gonna hide my wife from people . If they can't accept that , fuck 'em .
Today is the last day that we have with our families , they're all leaving tomorrow , but Dev and I are going to stay an extra couple of days , just to have some alone time before we have to get back to work . We're going to have lunch , then the ladies want to go shopping again , and of course Alice , Tiff , Inna , and Juliet are going to go , too . My aunts and Joanne are telling them about all the great deals they found last time , and Jinxx leans over and whispers to me , "Well , there goes my credit limit ."
"Yeah , mine too ." CC agrees .
They talk about the shopping trip through most of lunch , and then we finally finish , and leave the dining room . As we're walking toward the parking lot , Joanne and Darcy stop walking and turn toward us .
"Why don't we ALL go ?" , Joanne says . "That way we'll all get to spend more time together , instead of wasting half the day apart from each other ."
"Yeah , that sounds like a really good idea to me , too ." Darcy chimes in .
When she says this , all of the other girls start agreeing with them . At first , some of the guys aren't really into the idea , but they eventually get worn down .
I sort of chuckle , and tell CC and Jinxx , "At least you can keep an eye on your credit cards this way ."
We all decide to go , and I realize that I don't have my wallet at the same time that Dev remembers that her phone is still on the charger in our room , so we start heading back , and Andy and Juliet start walking with us .
"We should probably go with , to make sure you two don't wind up getting sidetracked ." , Andy says , with a laugh .
"You're probably right , dude ." Dev says .
Just before we get to our cottage , I hear someone calling out , "Mr . Purdy , I need to speak to you ."
We turn around , and the manager is heading toward us , with one of the maintenance men . He tells us that they've found a leak in one of the water lines between the buildings , and they need access to our cottage to do some of the work . I tell him that's fine , and they walk the rest of the way with us .
I put my key in the lock , and start to open the door . As it opens , we hear a voice saying , "I was beginning to think you were gonna stand out there talking all day , instead of ..... Oh, shit !"
This voice is coming from the bare -ass naked blonde sprawled out across mine and Dev's bed , who now looks completely shocked to see everyone else with me
"Fucking SERIOUSLY ??!", I yell . " Were you actually stupid enough to think this was going to get you anywhere ?"
"Well , you didn't seem to get it when I tried being subtle , so I figured I'd try being a bit more direct ." , she says .
"Subtle , my ass !" , Dev says , "The only way you could've been any less subtle would've been to actually hump his leg !"
She starts to reply to that , and then seems to rethink it when the manager moves out from behind Andy and walks into the room .
"What the hell do you think you're doing , Roxy ? I can't even begin to list the number of regulations you've violated !"
"Forget about your regulations right now , I just want her to get her ass dressed and go the hell away !" , I inform him .
She looks completely shocked when she hears this , and says , "I figured you'd go for the chance to enjoy yourself a bit before you tied yourself down . From what I've seen before , I'm more your type than she is ."
"You probably would've been, once upon a time . Back when I was single , and really fuckin' drunk ." , I tell her . "Now , not so much . I've decided I prefer a woman with some class . Which this clearly demonstrates you DON'T have ."
She's throwing on her clothes as I tell her this , and as she pulls on her shoes , the manager starts yelling at her again . She turns around and yells at him , "Why should I have to be stuck here working my ass off ? I deserve to go to Hollywood and have a famous boyfriend just as much as they do !"
"Well , you're gonna have to look somewhere else , Blondie , 'cause you're not gonna get it here .", I say .
She starts to walk out the door , but winds up pinned against it by Dev , who is standing right up against her , looking down at her , since she has about half a foot on this girl .
" Up until now , I actually found it sort of amusing , watching you jump through hoops trying to get his attention . Now I realize you're just pathetic . I trust him completely , but now that he's decided that he actually finds you annoying , if I see you anywhere near my fiancee the rest of the time we're here , I'll pop your fucking implants ! Are we clear ?"
"Trust me , miss , that will not be a problem ." , the manager says . "I'll leave Harvey here to fix the water problem , while I accompany Roxy here to clear out her locker . She won't be here to bother you , because she's no longer employed here ."
He leads her away , and we grab our stuff and finally go back to join everyone else .
"I thought they went with you to keep you from getting distracted ." , Jake says . " What the hell happened ?"
"Nothing important ." , I answer .
"Just a little problem with the room , the manager took care of it ." , Dev adds . "We'll tell you about it when we get there ."
As we walk toward my car , I lean over and whisper to Dev , "Before we even think about going to bed tonight , we're getting housekeeping to change EVERYTHING !"
