From Within Secrets

*Ashley's POV*

Andy was right about the whole hiking thing, Roku wanted to show us around her land, we just didn't know her land was as bad as hiking in the mountains but mostly all flat with hill here and there. She took us around land marks teaching us more about her family. Things she finally were able to tell us now, just as long as we didn't go around talking about it to others.

"This area was where the first house was build, we had to rip it down because it become a place for unwanted guest. After the main mansion was build, which I will be able to show you, my parents want to know everyone I'm hanging out with, warning, don't move toward them, just let them come to you if they want. My parents are old school, so one wrong move from any of you non humans, just warning you will get a gun or something pointed at you. Anyways, but my many great grandma moved down there to the next house and they had someone watching over this whole area. So the grauds got this place. We got rid of the houses after the last graud die. We bury them all up here and then watch over the land now." She walked off, CC was staying close to her and not far behind them were Cambria and Andy. I guess to keep an eye on them two. I was with Chloe near that back, I was the best to keep in the back like this. I could sense things and I had sharp eyes, it's one of my many gifts, why Kina wanted me, why she hid me from that group and used me. She then tried to kill me but the hunters got to her first.

"Ash?" I looked at Chloe and just smiled.

"I'm fine, just paying attention to Roku's stories." I laughed went she gave me that all known look like she knew I was lying a bit.

"We still need to break off and talk about you know what." She smiled and I know she wanted to know my story, I will tell her when we get a chance to be alone. We all keep walking until we got on top of this one hill and you could see the town and the Kanno's house and everything.

"This hill is how my grandma found this place. They bury her up here, made this temple around her grave, she watched over us and I'm sure you all can sense the power coming from here. It's what protects the town from hunters that want to kill everything that isn't human. It sends off a message to other hunters that this is safe land and that you can't do anything on this land or the family would be curse. It's why I can keep Damon from trying to kill you all. He hates vampires because his sister who was only 4 was killed by one. But he knows the rules and his parents wanted to try and show him not all are bad, but he's like the other hunters outside of this town, if he could he would kill every last one of you. But my family has more power in this town then the mayor we made for it." She smirked and just walked into the temple with Julia, Zeric and Letitia, probably to go pay respects to her great grandmother.
I took this time and go off away from the group, I had asked Roku if it was okay and she told me that it was but she wanted to know my story too, I told her I will let Chloe say it. She knew all our stories but mine and Andy's. I pulled Chloe to the side of the temple and just sat down and I could here everyone else talking and hanging out. "So, about the story. Like the others I lived in LA." She was listening and I'm glad to know she wanted to find out.

*Flash back*

I was working on my own rock band called Stolen Hearts, I was really kicking ass with the band but I couldn't keep members. I wanted to go big with Stolen Hearts, when things started to go wrong with it, I tried looking up other bands and trying to steal their members to make my band better. I found a add about a bass player needed. I was going to check out the band, see how good the memebers were. I didn't know when I could meet the guy, he told me to meet him somewhere and I plan on doing so. It was the first time I ever met Andy, I liked what the kid had plan. I wanted to be apart of his band because of it.

"So you think I should keep the name?" Andy just looked at me, he was different then others.
"I like the name and the meaning behind it. Do you have others with you?" I wanted to know where he was with his band.

"I have a drummer and two guitar players." He smiled, "Does that mean you're joining us?" I nodded to him and he was happy, he left and I went my own way.

I didn't want to give up my band but I like the idea that Andy had for BVB. I decided to go out drinking that night, happy that I found the band I always wanted to be in. As I was sitting there this really pertty girl came up to me. I was in shock of her beauty, though I didn't talk to her, I just keep drinking my drink and was thinking about all the good that would come out of this band. I was in deep thought when she finally did say something to me.

"So, are you in a band or something? You seem like a rocker dude." She just smiled at me, "I'm Kina..."

"I was the front man to Stolen Hearts but will be the bass player of another band soon. I'm Ashley and I don't think I seen you before here." I know a lot of people here but she was someone new.

"Well not many people stay in one area. I like to look around in other places, though, you're really sexy." She smiled at me and I decided to get her a drink. We talked and drink all night until she asked me if I wanted to come back to her place. I couldn't help it, I was willing to be with her and I did too. We left the bar around 3 am in the morning.

I follow her home to her house and she was kissing me and hanging all over me. I was drunk out of my mind when she walked into the house and I follow her to the room. I was a rocker so yeah, I know I could get anyone I wanted. She pushed me back on the bed and I'm just looking up at her as she lean over me. Before I knew it our clothes were gone and you can think of what happen at this point in time. It was after that, she changed everything I was.

"You know, you seem like you would be a gifted human." I looked at her confused, has she is leaning over me again. "You look really good, I'll love to see what you taste like." She just lean down and kissed my neck before I felt something deep within my neck and cover my mouth before I could scream in pain.

I just felt everything being drain from me, it hurt really bad and I didn't like it, she dig what I guess was fangs even deeper. I fought as much as I could to get free but soon everything around me got blurry and I was just laying there and couldn't move anymore. I feel her fangs pull out of my neck and just looked me in the eyes. She took her hand off my mouth and bit into her own arm. She put it at my mouth and I turned my head away, I didn't want to be a vampire. I didn't even know that the damn creatures were real! "No..." It was the only thing that I could get out before feeling myself nearly pasting out.

"I won't take no for an answer. You're mine now, and you will drink and be turn or I'll fucking torture you until you do. Vampires torturing a human is a lot worse then vampires torture a vampire. Now drink..." When I refused still, she grabbed my head and made me look at her before digging her nails into my neck to make me let out a bit of a scream, that's when I felt her blood just running into my mouth. I couldn't fight, she wouldn't let me and the pain of her nails digging into my skin. "You will be strong my love, but I won't be letting you have free will, you are mine do you hear me. MINE." With that I passed out, but could feel my body changing on me.

When I woke up, I looked around, I could tell my eyes and senses were more sharper then before. I could see a fly leave out a window about 4 feet away from me. I could smell things that were really good. I got up from the bed I was in, I notice I was in a different room and what made it worse was that my ankel had a chain around it that hooked into the floor. I was so confused what was going on and I walked around the room, I had my own bathroom, I looked out the windows and there were bars on the windows, I had clothes I could change into, had my own bed, it was like my own house in this room. I walked to the door and tried to open it, though it was locked shut. I walked into the bathroom and looked at my neck, whatever was there was heal now. I walked back to the bed and just lay down. I was really hungry and wanted food.
As a few hours past, I had the door unlock and seen Kina walking into the room with two girls in her hands. She had their hair held tight and they tried to scream and run but she had their mouths cover with duct tape and had duct tape around their wrists and ankels. They were helpless and I could hear their hearts beating and the blood in their viens. It only made me more hungry. She walked over to the bed and threw them both on the bed in front of me.

"Come on Ashley, show me what your gifts are, I know you have them." She walked over to me and just kissed the top of my hand. "Don't worry sweetie, I'll never hurt you, you're my creation, I'll love and protect you from everything. I promise you, and I'm sorry that I have to keep you lock up, but Scott, Vincent and Nelson would take you away from me." She lean down and kissed me and I couldn't help but kiss her back. "Good boy, now feed....you are a vampire now."

I just looked at her and for some reason it just felt right to be with her, to do everythings she wanted me to do and I watched the blood move through the viens. She was just watching me I could tell she was. I moved over to one of the girls and even though they were scared I just moved my fingers to follow the blood, the best place and then looked her in the eyes. "I promise, this won't hurt, just calm down, it will be over with before you know it." The girl stopped fighting me and just looked at me and nods, I follow for the best vien and I sink my fangs into the girls neck and just drained her of blood, I felt bad for taking a life but I was so hungry. But I kept my promise to her, I didn't let her feel pain and she just kept her eyes on me until all life was gone. I did the same to the other girl, said the same thing and after I was done, I licked what blood was on my lips off before looking at Kina who seem so happy.

"You are truly gifted Ash, you can get them to give into you, you can make them feel no pain and you have very sharp skills of sense. You didn't drain until you got nothing, you knew when the blood was gone, you stopped. You are so gifted my love." She just walked over to me and hugged me. "Stay with me forever, and I'll protect you." She looked me in the eyes and I nodded, it's not like I couldn't say no, she turned me and if what I read is right you can't go against your creator.

For years, she would bring me food, she would let me out on my own unless one of the brothers were around. Then she hid me in my room. She told me it was my own room that if I needed to get away that would be my get away. She never left my side and if we were out and she had to hide me from her group, she would tell me to stay somewhere and go hang out with them while I ran back to my room. For some reason they never notice me, even when they came into her house they never found that room. I looked on the internet to see that Andy got his members though he picked up two newer guitar players, they weren't the same ones. That night I heard Vincent come into the house. I walked to the door and was listening in.

"Listen to me Kina, Nelson was killed by hunters, the two gifted humans he turn were taken and I don't know where they are. We are running out of gifted vampires, the hunters are taking them. If you know of any gifted ones, kill them. Don't let the hunters get their hands on anymore. I killed all of my vamps that were gifted. We are moving out, if you don't show up I know they killed you. You have an hour, if you don't show up we are leaving without you. Just make sure you get rid of anything that you don't want the hunters having." With that I heard Vincent leave the house. I heard Kina sigh and walking toward my room. I rush back on my bed and acted like I was reading the stuff on the internet.

"Ash sweetie, we need to talk." She walked into my room and walked over to my bed. She took the laptop away and pushed me back against the bed that I was laying down and she was sitting on top of me. "Sweetie, there is something bad going down. I can't keep you around, Vincent will do horrible things to you if you come with, or if I let you go, you'll be on your own. I'm sorry but this is going to really hurt love. But I can't let them gifts go to waste." I looked so confused at her and she lean down kissing my lips. We were close, did everything together and she show me a vampires life was not that bad. But what hurt me, that promise she made with me.

"What are you going to do? You told me you would protect me. That you wouldn't so anything to hurt me or end my life. You promised me!!!" I was upset and she just pulled me into a hug.
"Shhh, I know I promised you a lot, but I can't keep that love. You have to go..." With that she sink her fangs into my neck and this time it was worse then the last time she did this. I screamed in pain and tried to fight her but she was stronger. I just screamed and screamed until I couldn't feel things anymore. "It's almost over Ash....." She lean down and kissed my lips, I could taste my own blood and it wasn't cool at all. I tried to move away from her but she stopped me. "No you can't run, you have to turn to ashes...I'll take what is left of your blood and you will break to ashes and no one will know about you ever." She bit into my neck again but before she could kill me. Someone broken into the room and ripped her off of me.

"I can't let you kill him. Jake, you need to heal him, then you and the guys get him out of here. I'll kill this bitch." This girl came out of no where and was fighting Kina until she killed her. The guy she was talking to, I could tell he was another vampire but had a different sense to him. He walked over to me and cut his arm and holding it toward me. Soon the other two came into veiw.

"Fuck, I know this guy, he's the one I was telling you two about. Ashley, I know you remember me. Trust me, Jake isn't going to hurt you. We are here to help and we are vampires just like you. Come on, we need to go, it's not safe here." I just took Jake's arm and did as he told me to, I could feel myself getting better like it was healing me and not hurting him.

"Andy, you and the boys need to get out of here, the other hunters are coming. They can't know we let you boys live, now get out of here and take him with you!" Julia just screamed at us and that fast we all left and made a run for it. Andy took me back to where he was hiding out and looked at me.

"Don't worry, you're safe with us. We were all turn against our will, and she saved all of us in some way. But we must hide, there is one more person out there that we need to find and Julia told me that we can't leave until that person is found. Then we are to go to a place called Eclipse Hollows, we will be welcome there and safe." Andy just smiled and I felt safe with all of them. I didn't know what to say but we did what we did until CC came. Then we moved out after all that stuff went down with CC.

*end of flash back*

Chole was just looking at me weird and in shock. "So she was like your force lover?"
"I guess you can say that, she did treat me like I was her lover, but she had a weird way in showing it. She only slept with me that one time. Other then that it was just to cuddle and kiss me, nothing that hard core anymore. What hurt me is she betrayed me, she told me she would never do anything to me and that is what she took back." I just looked at the sky, it was soon time to go meet Roku's parents. I didn't want to know how this turn out.

"Well, it's good that you want to find someone else. Though who do you have in mind though? I mean I know you told me you loved someone but who was that? Can you even love someone after that?" I just laughed at her and smile.

"I been around for over 100 years now, I'm over that betray, I mean it hurts still thinking about it but it's the past and I want to move on with my life. Anyways I do have my eyes on someone else and that person is you. You may be human, but I love you, I love being around you and you feel like you complete me. I'm guessing what I'm trying to say, Will you be my girlfriend?" Her eyes widen, "And as long as you parents don't have a issue with it."

"Oh my, the wouldn't have a issue at all, we aren't hunters just humans and this is so great! I mean I always loved you but this is just great!" She just runs into my arms and hugged me and I smiled, hugging her back. I could tell she been waiting for that. Everytime she got me alone she hope that question came out. So I decided to ask it since she knows my story now and still wants to be with me.

"That's really good, because I wanted to be with you too." I just kissed her head and Roku came to talk to us and I told her about what I told Chloe and how we are now together. She was so happy and ended up telling everyone. Andy looked a bit annoyed but nodded. We walked to Roku's house and waited for her parents. This was going to be scary, I didn't know how I felt at being in the hands of hunters as good as the Kanno's.

A/N: Sorry it took me so long to get this chapter going, some really bad stuff happen with the family and even thought I'm still hurt about it. I'm working on this, writing always help me, it was either writing or reading when it came to school. Talking to my friends helped too. So I'm okay but not okay at the same time. Anyways here is the chapter, next is Andy and most likely his story on why he's a vampire.
