Darkest Time

Chapter 5: Home Sweet Home, Jake's POV

As the bus dropped me off at my place, I made sure to get everything that was mine. We already dropped the other guys off so it was my turn to get home. I took everything with me with me and walked to my house. I could hear the dogs going crazy and that Ella was home too. I walked into the house putting everything in my studio before just going out in the main room and laying on the bed. As soon as I did this, both dogs jumped on me. It was great to be home though the talk with Jinxx yesterday on the bus alone still had me worry a bit. He thinks that Ashley will slowly turn, but the problem is. We never got in fights with vamps that were from the 1800s. They were always new ones and since three of us have girls now. We didn't want to get them in trouble with that life of a hunter and the things we hunt.

We made a promise back when we started the band and met our girls that we would stop this hunting stuff. We just wanted to be in a band, do something we always loved. But being one of the last hunter groups, it was only a matter of time that we slip and killed again. I just wish it wasn't the mate of Forbidden Secrets leader. His name was Dante and I know from a lot of hunters that you kill anyone in his group that he will make your life hell. He will do anything in his power to make you run and beg for life. I remember the person that teach us about the hunter life said to never go after Forbidden Secrets, they were the worse group of vamps ever.
"Jake, what's with you? You been so quiet since you got home." I looked over at Ella and she just smiles at me. "Come on, we should go out. I'm sure that one of the guys will be having a party. Next month, is July." She walked off to the kitchen leaving me alone with the dogs. She's right.

"Yeah, maybe we should go out shopping. I mean we need some things at the store." I grabbed my keys. "I'll be back, just going to go pick things up." I walked out of the house. It wasn't that I didn't want to be around her. It's just I needed to get things. Who knows if they followed us back here.

I walked around the store getting things for me, Ella and the dogs. I heard my phone going off and looked to see it was Jinxx. I answer it "Hello?"

"Man, Andy wants us to watch ourselves being out alone. He said that he found a note on his car saying that they know where we are. So Forbidden Secrets are in LA. They must have known we were coming home. CC is staying with Ashley, we don't know what they will do. If I was you don't like Ella alone. Not until we can find out how to get rid of them." Jinxx seem to be whispering where ever he was, meaning that Alice was around and he didn't want her knowing.
"How would they have found us?" I looked around feeling as if I was being watched and moving to get the things I needed before going to pay for it and get out of here.

"They are known as the oldest vampire clan since the 1800s. You tell me. The leader of them is name Dante, he is known for killing 50 hunters and turning 20. No one comes back when dealing with them. There is others that were with them. Nova, Lilith and Luca is the youngest of them. We killed Cole, he was Dante's lover. Dante is bi from what I was told. I looked into it as soon as I got home and I told Andy all of this. We shouldn't leave anyone we care about alone. We are up against one hell of a group." I sigh a bit and just walked out to my car. As I did, there was a note on my car. I put things in the back and looked at it.

"I need to call you back. I just found a note saying that I shouldn't let Ella alone for too long." I jumped in my car, racing to get back home. "We really fucked up man, I hope Andy has a plan because who knows what they did to Ashley..."

"I know, I really fear what's going to happen. Maybe we should all leave on a trip or something. I'm going to go look for that girl or her friends. We might need their helps because they seem to really know Cole." I was thinking a bit and the werewolf girl called him by name.

"You're right, they did know him. Maybe it's best to find out how they know. It would be a good idea to maybe send the girls away until we can figure out what to do. I'm really worry about them getting in the mix of all this. They can't leave in our sides, they know nothing about hunters either." I parked the car and getting the bags out. I move to my house and walks in to see that Ella and the dogs were asleep on the bed. I sigh a bit and locked the door, putting things in the kitchen and away. "It's best we do that." I walked to the studio and just sit down to relax.

"I know what you mean, I will talk to Alice, tell her to go back to the UK and known Ella she will want to go too. Then we only have to worry about Juliet." Jinxx seem to have walked outside and sighs. "It's just best to send them all away until we fix this issue."

"I'll talk to Ella around it, tell her that the girls and her need to go out. Let us guys take care of things for a while." I laughs a bit, I wanted Ella to hear me, maybe she would go to UK to hang with the other two.

"That will be best. I'll call Andy let him know what we think, I'll talk to Alice too about it. And be careful Jake, I know they are watching. Even now I feel eyes on me. So it's best we talk about this some other time. I'll talk to you later brother. I need to go talk to Alice." He hang up and I just sigh and put my phone down. I heard a knock on the door frame and looked up to see Ella.
"So what about a girl's trip? Are you trying to get rid of us or something?" She just laughs a bit.
"Not trying to get rid of you, just that I want you to go have fun with the girls. Then just us guys will do our thing. Just think about it for a week. Let me know next week and we will get you the tickets." I smile at her.

She agree to think about it, we both ended up going to bed and wonder what the week would hold for us all. We had the oldest vampire clan after us and this could turn out really bad if they get the girls or worse, fully turn Ashley into one of them. I wasn't planning on losing my brother to a group of blood suckers. We were going to find a way out of this. Anyways we can.

So I wonder what the girls are going to do. Are they going to pick going on a trip or staying wiht the boys? Guess you have to find out later.
