Darkest Time

Chapter 6: Things Are Becoming Weird, Ashley's POV

Two weeks went by since we return home, CC been staying with me. The guys thought it would be best for him to do so. I think they were doing it so that if I turn I wouldn't be alone. The girls ended up going on a trip a week ago. I mean I can understand why they did it. If anything happen to me, they didn't want the girls around. Though I know it was because Forbidden Secrets were in LA too. Andy had found the girls from that night. They told him that Dante been after them to join the clan, but they didn't want anything to do with it. So they were trying to take Shikgaru by force but we stepped in the way before they could do it. Shikgaru and her friends said they would be happy to help us if we needed them. Just had to give them a call.

Right now I was at the bar with CC, we were hanging out with the other guys. With the girls not around, it gave all of us time to hang out. Though Andy made sure to keep his eyes on me. I didn't really like it but I understand, if something would happen that I turn and try to attack one of my brothers. They wouldn't be ready for it, so why not just let Andy keep a watch on me. He never seems to miss anything.

"Hey, it's you again." I looked up to see that it was Lilith and smiles at her. "It's been a while Ashley, told you I would come see you again." She smiles and sat next to me. Now I felt all my brothers watching me. It made me wonder what was going on.

"It's good to see you again Lilith, sorry if my brothers are being weird. They just like to watch over me making sure that I stay out of trouble." I smirk a bit and looked over at Andy as he just stared before talking to the other four about something.

"It seems your brothers are a lot more tense then before. Everything going okay for you?" She seem to be just smiling and then I closed my eyes a bit. Thinking about when I was attacked by that vampire.

I remember leaning down to talk to the kid and the kid told me that it will be soon. That fast I felt the fangs going into my neck. I screamed because the pain was really bad. I remember falling to the ground and the kid that bit me saying in a girlish vioce. Now that I think of it the kid wasn't a girl it was a young boy. He told me that Forbidden Secrets were not happy right now with my brothers killing the mate of their leader. I remember someone else coming up to me as I lay there saying he shouldn't play with his food to kill or turn me. Before I could think, I felt the kid's fangs go back into my neck and I passed out after that. Woke up in the back of the bus, wondering if it was all the dream that night.

"Ashley, hey are you okay?" I looked up to see that I was sitting at a table in the back of the bar now and everyone was around me, even Lilith. "Ashley, what's wrong?" She seem to be worry about me.

"I'm fine, I just got a headache, I should be as good as new. Sorry you had to see that Lilith." I just laughs a bit.

"It's okay, your friends moved you over here so that you wouldn't pass out on the floor. Maybe you should go home and get some rest. I could always come home with you." She smiles a bit but I see CC stand up.

"It's fine Lilith, I'll get him home. Well we will get him home. Thanks for coming to get us. But I really think it's best we get him home right now." CC just smiles and help me up. I was still a bit tired for whatever just happen to me. CC helped me out to the car after I got to say bye to Lilith and hope to meet her again. I know that CC would be driving home but after he got me in the car and in the driver side. He open the window as Andy and the other two came back.

"Ashley, what the hell was going on in there? You had people ready to call 911 for crying out loud." Andy just looks me right in the eyes.

"I don't know but I remember what happen in the alley. I went to check on the kid crying and he was really small and girlish for his age. Then I heard someone tell him to not play with his food to either kill or turn me. I felt the fangs dig into my neck again but that's all that I remember, so the question really is what the hell is going to happen to me." I sighs a bit and just closed my eyes to get rid of the headache.

"If you turn, we have Shikgaru who is willing to help us get you back. We will just have to go call her. Right now they are in hiding because Dante wants her. They don't know why but Forbidden Secrets really wants them to join. Something tells me there is more behind it." Jake sighs and looked at the time. "We should be getting back. Who's house are we crushing at tonight?"

"I think Ashley's house would be the best. You two just need to go home and take care of the pets." Jinxx got in the car with us since he drove here with Jake. Jake and Andy drove off to go take care of the pets then they would meet us over at my house.

As we got back to my house, CC helped me out of the car and back into my house. I don't know why I was getting this headache but I just know I wasn't feeling too well at all. I just wanted to sleep and as soon as my head hit the pillow I was out cold.

The next morning I woke up and I was looking around my room. I could tell that the guys were up before me like always. I didn't have my headache from last night and I feel fine. Guess I was just drinking too much. I got out of bed and dressed before walking out of the room to go see what my brothers were up to.

"Hey, nice to see you, feeling any better then last night? Can you even remember anything from last night?" CC just laughs and I punched him lightly in the arm before just sitting down to chat with them all.

"I'm good, feeling better. Guess I shouldn't have drink so much last night. I know it was a bit over my normal amount but I just needed that extra push." I just laughs with my brothers though I seen Andy looking at me like he wanted to say something or ask.

"So how did that Lilith girl know where to find you? Did she ask you in New York?" I see so Andy was still worry about Lilith. Guess I just have to tell him we were talking and I told her we were going back to LA. She told me she will see me again didn't matter if it was here or New York.

"Chill out Andy, the only thing I told her that we were going back home since it was the end of the tour. She told me she would see me again if she came to LA or if we went to New York. I really don't now why you guys worry so much. If I was turning I would have turn. Though the marks are still there from that little brat." I reach my hand up and rub the bite marl. I kept it cover but once and a while I would look at it and it still wouldn't go away.

"It's been three week and that still didn't heal?" I could feel all of them looking at me now that Andy said that. "It might be the new kid that is with them. I called around to find out as much as I can about their group. Forbidden Secrets is the name of their rock band from Finland. Since it's the name of their band, they use it for their group. In the UK, a young boy went missing at their concerts and been missing." Now we were all looking at Andy.

"So that's what you been up to? Calling around trying to find out all you can about this group of vampire?" CC just closes his eyes and thinks a bit. "So what else did you find out about them?"
"Lots, one the boy we killed was Dante's lover. People really just let them do what they one so when someone does fight back or kills a member of the group. They come and take that people and them out. That's just for a member but it was his lover, so he's going to be more pissed off." Andy sighs and gets up from the table and just walks over to the window looking out.

"So we are up against a group of vampires, that always been free to do what they wanted because the leader is a crazy nut job? Just great, we should have stick to our promise." Jake just got up and left the room to go play some more COD.

"We will figure out something, I mean they can't get all five of us. The girls are safe so that's all that matters." Jinxx got up following Jake. Now it was just me, CC and Andy in the room.

"I think the kid that bit you was the boy that went missing in the UK meaning he is new to their group. He was probably trying to turn you but for some reason it didn't work. They are known to do that. When you attack one of their, they will attack one of your and try to get you to join them but not before you end up taking us out." CC and I both looked at each other in shock before just looking at Andy.

"You know I would never turn on you guys, that's fucking insane!" I just sighs and closes my eyes.

"Dude, we can just have that girl to help us out. She said if we needed anything she could find a way here and help out." I know CC didn't want to believe that I could be the cause of all of them dying.

"I know that, but also it's been 3 weeks and nothing happen yet. So it was a fail on their pair for letting a untrain vamp doing things he doesn't know how. Or it was a warning that they will be watching us. Even now I feel eyes on this house." CC and I got up and walked over to the window and looked around. They could have been anyway. "Maybe it's good to get some sleep. I watch him walk into the living room with the other two.

"I don't think anything is going to happen to you Ash, I think that people, just want to be on the safe side. It's why we are here, if something happens we are all here to stop it." CC just smiles before going into the living room with the others.

I didn't feel like talking with them anymore about this. So I just went back to my room. I walked in the room, shutting the door known that no one will come in before knocking first. I lay on the bed and just closed my eyes for a bit thinking. I could feel the bit mark hurting again and hold the side of my neck.

"It's a shame that of all your members of the band, you had to be the one bitten. I told Luca to be careful with you but guess he too much of a stuck up to Dante." I open my eyes and looked over in the darkness of the room, I could see eyes just looking at me.

"Who the hell are you?" I sit up as the person came out of the shadows, I could tell that it was one of the member's of Dante's group. I know her name it was Nova. I watch her as she walked to the bed. She seem to just watch me that any moves I made to get the guys she could stop me. Though I did it anyways, I got up to run toward the door but before I could open it I was pinned against the wall.

"No, I don't want you getting your brothers. I just want to talk to you. Seem that little Luca, was too new to ask him for a job like this." I could feel her breath on my neck and I narrow my eyes at her.

"Back off, or I call for the others." I reach over without her known it, and grabbed the silver knife that I had there and goes to kill her with it but had my hand stopped by someone else and notice it was the kid from the alley, he really did look young and very grilish too.

"We should leave Nova, you know she won't be happy we messed with him. She already mad that I bit him." He sighs a bit and pulled Nova away and to the window.

"Where you two going?" I had my knife ready and just watched them as they kept walking.
"We will all meet again, it's just that I had to see to make sure that Luca didn't mess up. But seems like he didn't so see you around and try not to hurt the others." She smirked and that fast they were both gone.

I moved to the window to see if I could at least get rid of one of them. But as I got there, they were already gone. I reach up and taking the bandages on my neck only to find out there weren't there and the marks were healing. I wasn't liking this at all and I know my brothers by now, if I would do one wrong move to them, they will all jump to make sure that I stay calm. This is going to suck. I just decided to go to bed though I wonder what they mean by that she won't be happy with them for messing with me and she got mad at the kid because he bit me. Something tells me, this is going to be a nightmare.

So yeah, what's going to happen to poor Ashley? And who is this girl they are talking about? And what are they going to do if Andy is right about how Dante and them force people to join them? I know I'm evil though I like having a bit of a dark side.
