Darkest Time

Chapter 4: I Don't See A Problem Yet, Jinxx's POV

I woke up before the rest of my brothers, I wanted to go check on Ashley, and make sure he was doing okay. I didn't hear no banging or yelling so maybe it's not as bad as we all thought it would be. I got out of the bunk, I know we were moving and it was nice to be able to go back to LA finally. I could spend some time with Alice and just chill with friends. I walked back to the room that Andy put Ashley it. I made sure to be careful, to not woke any of the the guys. I open the door and walked into the room and just closed it. I seen Ashley just sitting up and holding his head like he had a headache.

"Hey man, how you feeling today? CC and I had to go out and get you." He just look up at me but I didn't see anything that could be vampire related about him. I know some vampires, really old ones will try to kill hunters or they do something to make that human slowly turn into one of them. Sometimes takes a week or even a month. "What happen to you last night? You were out cold and Andy put you in here thinking it will be the best place.

"What you think? I was bitten last night, I heard this little kid crying and it turned out to be a damn vamp." He got up and looked at the holes at that side of his neck. "I don't get it though, shouldn't I be trying to kill you guys? I mean I don't even few any different, I feel myself. So does that me their plan fail?" He just looks at me and I could find no signs of him turning.

"Guess they did fail, though you know Andy about being all safety about things. So we still have to go through him to let you out of here. We shouldn't have attacked the vamp kid last night. We should have send him off with a warning to leave the witch go." I just sighs a bit and closed my eyes.

"Wait, so you guys killed a vamp? Dude, you guys could have doom us all. Let me guess it was Cole, wasn't it?" I look up at him in shock.

"How do you know that?" Ashley always seem so calm, never really seen him get mad at someone and even now he was calm.

"That's what the girl say, the one that came after me last night. She said that she was from a vamp rock band called Forbidden Secrets and that they are a very small group of old vampires from the 1800s. You guys killed their leader's mate." Fuck, now I know here I heard Forbidden Secrets of before. I didn't think that they would have been in New York. They live over in Finland, so that means, that witch girl might be in trouble. Cole was after her and the fact that she's rare and knows the old spells, they are a old group of vampires. Shit, we really did pissed off the wrong group.

"That's not good, so it's the ones from Finland?" We both looked up to see Andy and the other guys come walking into the back room. He handed Ashley a ice pack for his neck and just sat down. "Well, it's nice to know that one they didn't kill you, and two that you didn't turn. Though that doesn't mean you won't turn, but then again that could mean you were just a warning to us." He sighs a bit.

"I think if I would have turn, these damn holes would have been gone. You know that when a human turns, the bite marks disappear without a scar." He put the ice back on and just sat there with his eyes closes. Ashley was not in a good mood, but still he just stay calm.

Jake helped him put a bandage thing over the bite wounds, we really didn't see the need to worry about it because all of us could tell that it look more of a death bite then one that was meant to turn him. I mean we could always be wrong but he didn't seem to show any signs. Ashley and CC were back to being themselves, laughing and messing around. Drinking like always to, I went out to the back room after we stopped for food and just sitting down. The others were all messing around and acting out but I was just playing with my guitar.

"You okay?" I looked up to see Jake come walking into the back room to play xbox. "You think things will be okay with him? I mean that is a dangerous group of vamps we are up against."

"Yeah, it is and they attacked Ashley. I have a bad feeling that he will slowly turn. We should get back to New York and find that witch. We are going to need her if Ashley does turn. She would be able to help him." I just looks at him and lay back on the sofa.

"We should have thought of that last night. We will just have to watch for her online or one of her friends. We should be home in a few hours, so there is no turning back now to find her. We will worry about that when it comes." Jake was playing COD like always, but he was right, we didn't need to worry about Ashley until it go too bad for us to handle.

"Things will be okay, I mean something tells me that Ashley will fight it until we can figure out how to get him back if he turns." I looked out of the back room just seeing CC, Ashley and Andy all just acting out and having fun like they always did. Jon looking annoyed but laughing with them. Yeah I think things will be okay. All I wanted to do was get back to Alice. Relax at home with my girl.

So there is Jinxx's chapter, though now you know more about these vampires but the thing is, what's going to happen to Ashley. Anyways, Jake's chpater is next.
