Worlds Collide

"Welcome to my humble home." Ashley said leading me inside his apartment "I feel welcomed." I said walking further into his house, I turned to face him "So I'll sleep on the couch and you can sleep in my room." He said facing me after shutting the door, "no way I'll sleep on the couch." I said "You're my guest I insist, don't argue with me cause I'm prepared to pick you up and lock you in my room." He said "that's a bit weird isn't it."
"check yourself before you wreck yourself." He said "okay well are you tired," he asked
"no not really."
"Okay great come with me." He lead me down the hall and into his room, "you can steal one of my shirts to sleep in and we'll play a video game or a board game or something." "Okay." I said admiring the basses hung on the wall,
"you like them?" He asked nodding towards the wall that they are hung on, "yeah they're sick."
"I have heaps, most of my basses are in storage or just scattered in random places around the house, so don't be alarmed If you step on one."
"Okay, I'll keep that in mind." I laughed
"okay I'm just going to play Halo or something so feel free to get changed or whatever." Ash said as he left the room, I waved goodbye as he shut the door. I found a shirt and changed into it, it came half way down my thighs so I felt fine just having my bikini on underneath . I walked out and sat next to Ash on the lounge and watched him play Halo. "You fucking suck at this game." I said turning to him,
"I'd like to see you try."
"hey I never said I'd be good, you just suck." I laughed. I just watched Ash play video games for a couple hours and we talked about random shit, "I'm really glad I know you." Ash said pausing his game "why do you say that?" I asked looking towards him, "We have so much in common, it's weird."
"Well I'm glad to be of service." I laughed. Ash and I laughed for hours sharing stories about us when we were kids. "You didn't!" I said sipping on the drink ash got for me "I did."
"Oh my god, you're so dumb."
"So... what's the weirdest way you picked up a guy, is it weirder than mine?"
"Ash you told a girl you had cancer to get a pity fuck ." "What's your point." He said taking a long sip "My point is I'm not a psycho or an insensitive dickhead." I said matter of factly "I mean that's debatable."
"Fuck off." I said lightly hitting his chest, I sighed and looked him, he kept staring at me. Watching my every move. I screwed up my face and stuck my tongue out at him, he laughed putting down his drink. I quickly drank the rest of my gin and stood up "Okay imma go to sleep." I said
"okie dokie, see you in the morning." I waved and walked down the hall to his room turning off all the lights as I went. I laid on my back staring at the ceiling, watching the fan spin round and round. I sighed in frustration, I can't sleep. I rolled over and put my face up against the pillow. I can smell his cologne on the sheets. Still can't sleep. I tried the old trick, it worked when I was little. I put a pillow at the end of the bed and laid in the opposite direction. I fell asleep almost instantaneously.
