Worlds Collide

I woke up to a text message coming through on my phone, I picked it up off the nightstand and clicked the button on the side only to be blinded with the light of 1000 suns. 'Jake bought extra clothes for you, they are in the ensuite. feel free to have a shower and you can use whatever you want in the bathroom' I read the text from Ash. I sat up and swung my legs over the side of the bed. I walked into the bathroom and turned on the shower.
I finished blowdrying my hair then admired my makeup and outfit in the mirror, I walked out into the kitchen to see Ash cooking bacon and eggs at the stove, shirtless, kill me now.
"Hey." I said from behind him
"Morning." Ash said turning his head, he turned back and continued cooking "How'd you sleep?" he asked
"Yeah good thanks, your bed is really comfy."
"Well I'm glad you slept well." He laughed
"Oh shit, is that code for 'I slept like shit'"
"no no I slept fine."
"You know I would've slept on the lounge, I'm a lot smaller than you."
"You're my guest though I would've felt bad."
"I lowkey stole your shampoo by the way, now I smell very manly."
He just laughed and continued cooking I jumped up and sat on the counter next to the stove
"I heard you singing in the shower by the way."
"oh god, that's so embarrassing." I said covering my face with my hands
"Did you enjoy the acoustics of my bathroom." He said as I parted my fingers and look through the gaps at him
"you're so mean." I whined
"you are actually pretty good."
"oh fuck off." I said dropping my hands from my face and punching his arm lightly.


"So any plans for today?" He asked
"nope." I replied
"You want to go out later?"
"Yeah sure sounds fun."
"Okay now get off the counter and get me plates." He said turning off the stove
"what's the magic word?" I said crossing my arms
"please." He said batting his eyelashes, I slid off the counter and searched the drawers, Ash watched as I struggled to find plates for our breakfast. He finally gave in and opened the draw right in front of me revealing a stack of plates "pfft I knew that they were there."
"Sure you did."

After breakfast Ash went off and had a shower and changed. While I waited for him I checked my social media and watched a couple YouTube videos. "So, what do you want to do today?" Ash came out wearing black jeans and tee-shirt. "I dunno."
"um... do you want to go to the pier."
"Sounds fun, I've just got to put on some shoes."
"yeah same." We both went into his room to grab shoes. I grabbed my doc martens out of the bag jake bought for me and Ashley got some shoes out of his closet.

"So what first?" Ashley asked as we walked towards the pier
"Ummm... you wanna just look in shops?"
"Yep sure." Ash and I walked into the closest store, which was really weird it seemed as if they only stocked ugly hats, sunglasses and bags. "Should I buy this?" I said sarcastically putting that hat on my head and pulling weird poses. "You look stunning darling, you must purchase it." Ashley said in his beast posh old woman voice
"I shall purchase it after I've divorced my 10th husband, David, only then will I be able to afford it." I said mocking his voice
"Stop trying to be posh Priscilla we all know he's your 18th husband"
"Yes, I admit you are right but I only fucked 15 of them."
"Gosh you are such a lady."
"I know, that's what I keep trying to tell Franchesca."
"Honey she's only a virgin becasue she's ugly and you can't help it that you are gorgeous." We continued creating stories for each item of clothing we tried on in each shop, I've never laughed so hard in my life.

"My face hurts from laughing." I said, ash and I were now sitting on a bench looking out at the sea while eating chips we got from some sketchy looking fish and chip shop.
"Same." Ash replied "this is fun."
"what?" I said shocked.
"this," ash said gesturing around him "being here with you, shopping, eating, laughing. It's fun."
"Yeah, I guess."
"oh here we go again." Ash said as I picked up a chip,
"what's that supposed to mean." I said throwing the chip at him, he chuckled and brushed it off,
"I mean you, doubting yourself. Again."
"What's that supposed to mean, I swear to god there is an echo in here." He laughed and put his hands on my shoulders
"you are doubting that I had a good time with you." He dropped his arms and went back to eating.
"Shut up."
"Okay change the subject, I wanna play a game."
"okay, what."
"I'm going to guess how many times Jinxx has called and texted you."
"Oh god, let me check." I got my phone out and checked my notifications, "shit, he's going to kill me."
"50." He guessed
"How did you guess that?"
"oh my god did I actually get it?"
"yes, that's not fair." I whined
"how is that not fair."
"you cheated."
"how?!"
"I don't know, but you did." I said accusingly
Ashley began to laugh at me, I then began to laugh with him, fuck this is so good.
"I really like hanging out with you." I said after we had stopped laughing, I didn't mean to say it out loud.
"I like hanging out with you too."
We shared smiles but then we were rudely interrupted by my phone ringing
"51." Ashley said, I laughed and finally answered one of jay's calls
"Hello?" I said down the line
"Jordyn! Oh my god."
"what? What's wrong."
"I thought you were dead in a gutter somewhere." He said matter of factly
"I'm sorry, I didn't mean to worry you."
"yeah whatever it's fine, look I'm sorry okay."
"I'm sorry too."
"you don't have to be sorry, I was a dick, and you're right you are old enough to look after yourself."
"Let's not do this over the phone, I'll meet you for breakfast tomorrow, okay?"
"Okay" he said
"cya."
"bye JJ." He said and I hung up
"well shit, did he say sorry?" Ash asked as I put my phone back in my pocket
"yeppers."
"you gonna go home?" Ashley asked
"tension is still thick can I crash at yours?"
"only casue you are so damn cute." He said
"Shut up." I said lightly shoving him


"I need a toothbrush and deodorant and shampoo." Ashley said as we walked into target, we stopped off here on the way home,
"okay, I'm just gonna look around."
I wandered off to the clothes section and looked for something I could wear tomorrow.
I picked out some new PJs and a dress to wear tomorrow. I found ash and saw him browsing the underwear section.
"mmmm the age old question."
"what?"
"Boxers." I said gesturing to one side "or briefs." I said gesturing to the other side
"fuck off you're such a loser." He said laughing "what about boxer briefs?" Ash said picking up two pairs of boxer briefs off the self. "Ohhh saucy, put that on tumblr." I said
"you're such a weirdo."
"Don't deny your love for me."

We arrived back at Ashley's and I called shots on first shower but Ashley has longer legs and can run faster than me. I sat on his bed waiting for the ensuite to be free, I scrolled through twitter. More hate. I've done nothing to them.
"hey you wanna watch a movie?" Ashley said walking out of the bathroom with only a towel on exposing all his tattoos,
"umm yeah sure okay."
"cool" he said as he walked into his walk in wardrobe to get changed.
I walked into the bathroom and shut the door behind me, for some reason mash didn't have a lock on his door. I hopped in the shower and drew the shower curtain across.
"Hey J!" Ash yelled through the door
"yeah!" I yelled back
"do you mind if I come in to blowdry my hair?!"
"Ew no!" I said, I don't want him to see me naked
"I won't be able to see you, its called a shower curtain!"
"Ugh yeah whatever okay."
a couple minutes later the hair dryer started up.

"Ash." I said when he had turned off the hair dryer and I turned the water off.
"Yep."
"Can you pass me my towel please." My towel was then hung over the curtain railing and I grabbed it down to begin drying myself.
"I'm finished now, I'll meet you in the living room."
I hopped out of the shower when I had heard the door shut and I got changed into my new pyjamas. I brushed my hair and my teeth and fixed my eyebrows so that they weren't all Over the place.
"what do you wanna watch?" Ash said as I walked out he sat on the lounge in just his underwear.
"What've you got to offer?" I said sitting down next to him
"I got Netflix."
"okay, ummm."
"what's your favourite movie?"
"girl, interrupted." I said off the top of my head
"I've never seen it, let's watch it."
Ash was sitting in the corner of the lounge so he could put his feet up on the lounge's extension. During the movie we got closer and closer together. I rested my head on his bare chest and wrapped my arms around his waist, he put an arm around me and I fell into a deep sleep.
