Those Fucking Fanfic Moments 2

You know, it's annoying the way I see authors PROMOTING themselves in the comments of other's stories rather than providing positive feedback, constructive crit, or admiring a writing style. And everyone asks for comments, votes, and subs but how many of you leave meaningful comments on someone else's story?

I'll admit, I tend to ghost read but if you ask me and I DO choose to sit down and trudge through your story (I have a short attention span so wish me luck), I'll point out things I like and bring you back to your plot holes with something like "oh, Ashley caught Andy cheating on him with Sky in cbapter two. I wonder how he'll react at their wedding in chapter 3955429201?" Y'know, shit that means something.

And Jesus Christ, the forum here is dead. How does ANYONE get better over here if nobody wants to talk to each other? Like fuck.

I know "DayStripper, this is a BVB site! DayRipper, stop bringing up 1D! DayTrapper, stahhhp." No, I'm not gonna stop because you know what? I used to be a Brides fan. I used to do all sorts of Andy fan art. I even painted my face like he did on the cover of These Wounds for Halloween one year. BUT despite being very open about disliking 1D on onedirectionfanfiction.org, I have found talented writers who all STRIVE to create original works, support each other, have whole discussions about theories for a story someone else is writing (I've had people speculate what's going to happen in my stories Liquor Bitch and Stylish Payne), create little fan groups with each other. I'm proud to say I've contributed plot points and character development suggestions to these people. The Black Veil Brides Army is a "family" yet I am a proud step child of the Directioner Family. If everyone here is so close, why don't we start acting like it?

Get involved! Comment, message, collab, conspire, plot, suggest, answer, compliment, critique each other! Ask for advice! Take notes when you're given them! Make real friends, not some "buddy" who comments "plz updert" every time you post a new chapter! BECOME the family I know EVERY fandom has the potential to be!
