There was a lot of noise. I groaned. SILENCE!

My head was pounding. My whole body hurts.

Jessy, why can’t you save me! You always helped me! Why did you leave me?

I could feel the tears once again.

I didn’t know for how long I was passed out. I just know that the pills didn’t work.

I was still breathing. I knew that much. I knew it because of the pain.

I just want to die! I have nothing left to live for! Nothing!

“Alicia?” A familiar voice. I groaned. NO! Not her!

“Alicia can you hear me? Don’t be stubborn you can open your eyes I know you are awake!”

I sighed. “I’m blind Marge I can’t see anything anyway.”

“Don’t you play dumb with me young lady, John and I drove all the way out here for you now open your eyes!”

I sighed again. “Stop that sighing, you know I hate when you sigh!”

I nodded. “Yes ma’am”

“Soo?” I rolled my eyes on the inside of my lids before I opened my eyes. I could almost hear the shock.

“Doctor? What is wrong with her eyes? They are… well, they are not green anymore!”

She was mad for some reason. The poor doctor had to handle my foster mother. That bitch!

“We do not know exactly what has happened to her eyes yet, we are going to do some scanning and get an eye specialist here, don’t worry miss, you daughter will be taken good care of.” The doctor sounded nervous but funny enough I understood him.

My foster mom was a real beast. She tried to be fashionable but always failed catastrophically. Her hair looked like something she had not combed in 40 years. She was just plain ugly!

“It’s fine Marge, I like it here.” I lied, if my brother had been here, he would have laughed so hard right now over my bad lie.

Marge said nothing. Suddenly I heard John’s voice.

“How is it to be blind? Don’t worry, the doctor is gone you can tell me.” I didn’t know what to answer. I had only been blind for some hours and he asked me how it was?

“Don’t fall for her stupid little game! She isn’t blind at all, she just plays! You know how good she is at that. Her and that boy always tricked us!”

I felt the anger boiling. “Complain about me fine, diss me, hate me I don’t care! But don’t you dare talk like that about my brother you bitch!” If I could I would have strangled her or something.

“You see? She isn’t weak at all!” I heard Marge said.

I tried to take a deep breath but the pain stopped me. I was going to kill that whore!

Andy’s POV.

Ashley and I was still standing in the hallway. Everything had quiet down.

We had seen an elder pair walk into the room to the girl.

“Probably her parents.” Jinxx had said and walked back to Jake and Ella on the bed.

Ashley and I talked to a nurse. She told us that the girl was alive but in pain.

“Do you think she would kill herself if she still had her parents?” I asked Ashley.

“Maybe they don’t treat her right; maybe the brother was all she had.” I nodded. “Or maybe she just wants’ some attention.” I said.

“She was just in a car crash, just lost her brother and you think she needs more attention?” Ashley asked raising his one eyebrow. I shrugged “what do I know.”

I recalled her looks. I didn’t get to see much of her when they drove her by, but that star.

“Hey Ashley, how weird would it be if she was a part of the army?”

He looked at me, “why do you think that?”

I shrugged. “I think she was wearing a necklace with our star, but I’m not really sure.”

Ashley leaned against the wall. “Maybe, it would be pretty tragic don’t you think?”

I nodded. Ashley then started walking.

“Where are you going?” I asked.

“To find out of course.” He said and waved with his hand.

I followed.
