Mystical Murder

It's been about a week since Kailee and I moved to LA. I told her to stay in the room and look for places on the laptop while I went out to try and find someone who needs a guitarist or a violinist for their band. I made my way down the hallway to our room and unlocked it. I opened the door to see Kailee laying down on the bed.

"Nothing?" She looked over to me.

"Nope. Not yet. Any luck for you?"

"I found a couple places. No answers yet."

I fell onto the bed on my back next to Kailee. She fell back and started running her fingers through my hair.

"You should cut your hair. It's not really, you."

"You want me to cut my hair?" I looked down at her.
"Well , yeah. Maybe that's why you can't get anyone to let you join their band. You don't have that true Rock and Roll look."

I smirked before crawling off the bed and found the pair of scissors off the desk.
"You wanna help?" I looked over to her.

"You want me to cut your hair" She sat up.

"Just the back. I can do the rest."

"Fine. But-"

I just started chopping off my hair, quicklymaking the front just shy from my shoulders and creating bangs. I made the longer strands more choppy but still really neat.

"Jinxx!" She shot up from the bed.

"What?" I turned away from the mirror and faced her.

She stood frozen in her spot. Nothing came out of her mouth.

"Woah. You look,"

"Different?"

"A good different."

"Okay. Can you do the back?"

She nodded her head and took the scissors from my hand. She sat me down in one of the chairs and finished up my hair.

"What do you think?" She held up one of her hand mirrors so I could see the back through the big mirror.

"Perfect." Then, I just thought of the perfect idea. "I wanna change your hair too."

"What?!"

"Maybe dye it too. That way, your father won't be able to recognize you."

He stood up and sat me down in the chair, taking the scissors from me. He took a strand of my hair and examined it. He then chopped off the long strand and then held it out to me.

"I'm giving you hair about the same length as mine." I told her and finished chopping off her long hair. "There. Um, how about we head down the street. We can get some hair dye for you. I also need some black dye. My natural hair is starting to come through again."

I nodded my head. We threw on our shoes and Kailee grabbed her purse. We made our way out of the hotel and down the street to the bearest drug store. We found the hair dye and I found my normal jet black color. five minutes later Kailee got her color, which she refused to show me what color she got until her hair was fully dyed. We bought the dyes and made it back to the hotel. We helped each other cover our hair with the dye and helped each other wash it out.

"Woah." I said when I saw Kailee's new hair.

"You like it?" She asked.

"Like it is an understatement. I fucking love it!"
