Mystical Murder

"I still can't believe you dyed it purple!" Jinxx said.

"Its pastel purple to be exact." I corrected him.

I tugged on my newly cut and dyed hair as I looked around the coffee shop Jinxx and I were sitting in.

"What's wrong?" He asked, resting his hand on my own across the table.

I shook my head. "Nothing." I then came up with probably the worst thing I could think of. "Maybe I should get a tattoo." I suggested.

"That's a great idea! We can try to buy new clothes while we're at it. That way, your father won't be able to recognize you at all!"

"O-okay."

Jinxx's phone rang. He picked it up and started talking to whoever was on the side of the line. Unlocked my phone and started scrolling through my Twitter until I heard Jinxx started to end the conversation.
"Thank you so much! I'll see you tonight." He said before hanging up.

"Who was that?"

"I just got a job. I'm meeting the other members tonight. They needed a new rhythm guitarist, a second back vocalist, and a violinist. I just so happen to carry all three talents."

That's great! Does that mean we can finally move into an apartment or house?"

"Yeah. Are you excited?"

"Fuck yeah!"

"Do you want to come and meet the band with me?"

"Are you sure that they'll be okay with it?"

Your my girlfriend! Of course they'll be fine with it! Now c'mon. Let's get started of changing your wardrobe of yours."

Jinxx pulled up to a little bar on the east side of Los Angeles. We made our way inside and Jinxx searched for a group of guys that look like they belong in a band.

"Hey! Over here!" A voice called out towards us.
"C'mon."

Jinxx kept an arm around me and we made our way over to a group of four guys. All of which were dressed similar to what jinxx and I were wearing, black and leather. The one with the shortest hair stood up. He was well over six feet tall. The sides of his hair was shaved off, leaving only the top to fall over his piercing blue eyes.

"What's up Jinxx!" he gave Jinxx a bro hug. "So this is the rest of the band. Ashley, our bassist. Jake, our lead guitarist. And CC, our drummer." He pointed to each member.

"And who is this fine woman?" Ashley asked, eyeing me up and down.

"This is my girlfriend, Kailee." he wrapped his arm around my waist.

"I'm Ashley." He held his hand out to me, which I gladly shook.

"I'm Jake." He waved.

"I'm CC." He leaned back in his seat and nodded his head towards me.

"And I'm Andy." We shook hands.

"Very nice to meet you." I said.
