Mystical Murder

The next morning, Jinxx and I were up at seven. We got oour stuff and checked out. We got on the freeway and stopped at a rest stop to grab some breakfast.

"We should be able to get to LA by three or four this afternoon. We'll spend a few nights in a hotel while we look fpr apartments. And once we get an apartment, we'll buy a new car." He said.

"That'll work. We shouldn't be in the hotel very long though." I replied.
"NO worries. We should only be on there a week at most. Plus, LA is a pretty big place. I doubt that he would be able to find us."

I nodded my head.

We finished up our breakfast and got back on the road. I must have fell asleep again, because next thing I knew, we were pulling into another rest stop. I sat up and saw that it was one in the afternoon.

"Lunch already?" I asked.

"Yeah. You slept for nearly five whole hours."

"I don't do so well on long trips like this. Sleeping seems to keep me from getting car sickness."

We got out of the car and got something to eat. I got back in the car and Jinxx filled the gas tank before heading back on the road again. Two hours later, we reached the Nevada-California border.

"We're almost there!" I said excitingly.

"I'll say about an hour before we reach the city limts." he said.

Soon enough, I looked over towards the mountians and saw the "Hollywood" sign, standing tall and proud on the side of the mountian.

"Oh my god! We're here! We're finally here!" I said excitingly.

"Just wait." He said.

Next thing I knew, large buildings came into view. The large city started closing in around us. My excited self couldn’t stay in my seat. We pulled into a parking garage and Jinxx turned off the car. We checked into the hotel and w got in our room.

"Welcome to Los Angeles." Jinxx said and he pulled open the curtains to reveal probably the most extrodionary view I have sver seen. I could so get used to this.
