Dead and Broken
I'll only die a dream, forgotten
I didn't know where I was runnning to. Just away. From Mom, Bradley, Rick, school, everything. I can't handle this anymore. I cant stop running
I can't stop running. I havent to keep going. I have to. I can't go back there.
It started raining. Thank God. I need it to. It'll hide me, and the tears.
I feel my foot tear through the bottom of my converse.
I don't care.
Until I run over broken glass.
"FUCK!" I limp over to an alleyway, and I sit down. "Shit it's bleeding alot, and there's still alot of glass in there." I cut off part of my leather jacket, and wrap it around my foot. White hot pain goes through my whole leg, as the glass is pushed deeper into my foot, but I had to cover it. I sat there for i don't know how long, crying in the cold winter rain.
I heard voices coming towards the alley. I tried to shrink myself against the wall, so they wouldn't see me. It was 5 tall, dark men. They were all laughing, seeming to be happy. I had one leg extended out into the alley way, as to not put pressure on my foot with the glass in it. I hope they dont trip on me or see me. They got closer, and of course, the inevitable happened. One of them trips on my foot. I cry out in pain. "What the fuck was that?" the one who fell. "Is someone there?" another one says. The one who fell turned around and realized he tripped on a foot. I kept my screams of pain silenced in my hand. I tried to hide away from them while they weren't looking at me. The one on the ground grabbed my ankle, amd shone his phone in my face. I kept my eyes down, but he lifted my chin up to meet his eyes. He pushed my hair out of my face, and our eyes met. And I swear, I was face to face with the most gorgeous guy I've ever seen.
