"wake up! wake up you stupid bitch!"
I felt a strike across my face, and the sharp stinging that always follows. Mom found me.
"You've been gone for hours! I needed you home so i could go out with Bradley!"
"Mom Rick and his load of buffoons beat me up again! I couldn't help it!"
"I don't believe you! You were probably out doing drugs and now you've wound up here!"
I stood up, and got in my car to leave. She got in hers to follow me home.


When we got home Bradley was there. Drunk as usual. I slammed my bookbag on the floor and ran up to my room. I sat on my bed, and turned up my music to drown out his yelling

"You told me think about it, well I did
Now I don't wanna feel a thing anymore
I'm tired of beggin for the things that I want
I'm over sleepin like a dog on the floor"

He broke in my door, and he ran up to me. He grabbed me by my arms and he threw me down
"How DARE you not come home right after scholl you stupid little fuck?! I gave you an ORDER and i DEMAND you follow it!" I started to cry. i never cry anymore. He grabbed my wrist and twisted as hard as he possibly could. I felt the scabs let go, and i felt the blood going down my arms. He threw me on the ground, and he spit on me.
"Fuck you. You stupid bitch."
After he left the room, I pulled myself up,
and I ran.
