I could never mask this pain

"Hey CC, I missed you to bud!! Assuming you took care of CC jr, while I was out?" I chuckle as he nods eagerly, showing me all the adventures him and my black pug with white paws that I named after him had. He had become my best friend, him and Andy that is. Ashley hurt me, and that is something I can never forgive. Jinxx and Jake walk silently into the room, smiling as my eyes flicker towards them.
"Glad to see you're alive M... Missed you while you were out. We even got you something, Andy is bring it up now... No freaking out... Promsie??" Jinxx pleads with me, while Jake moves a chair up next to me, not sitting in it but just moving it. I nod, grunting. My eyes flicker around the room, just in time for me to catch Ashley slipping out tears in his eyes and head down. He looks almost as bad as I do...
"She promise not to freak??" Andy calls from the hallway, I roll my eyes angrily.
"Yas!! Now bring whatever it is in here!!!" I scream, throwing a pillow at the door. Soon enough, there's a pure black German Shepard Boxer mix in the seat next to me. I gasp, covering my mouth as I try to keep from crying. I look at the tag swinging off his collar, Brandy.
"Thanks you guys... thank you so much...." I whisper as I pull the dog closer to me...

*Ashley's POV*
Why.. Why didn't I see what was happening... She hates me because of it and there's nothing I can do to fix it... Maybe everyone is right... maybe it would be better if I just disappeared... Maybe if I changed... She'd love me again... She'd at least be my friend again... that's all I really want... I just want her...

*Melissa's POV*
"has anyone seen Ashley?" My voice is back, and I've gone some weight back, mainly muscle. I'm looking better than ever. It's been 3 weeks since I woke up, and I haven't see the son of a bitch that confessed his love to me. The guys all shake their heads, and I shrug. Whatever, probably wasted somewhere with some chick.........
