People hate it when people say Sky cuts for attention. But it's obvious when reading when Sky DOES. And when she doesn't.

If Sky describes the bathroom, the blood, the blade, her 47 incisions, it's attention. It's the author trying to get you to feel bad for her.


If Sky describes the feeling, the orgasm, how she forgot she even WAS bleeding or still making the motion because it's so easy, she has a problem.

As someone who does/has self harmed (and don't start the pity party, I hate that shit), it's obvious. When you mean what you do, when you plan out where each one goes, when the world stops spinning and you realize you're okay because you're not the scum off the earth, you're human because look at that blood, it's legit. It annoys me so much when that's NEVER talked about. It's always "ANDY WALKD IN DA RUM AND LUKED AT MY CUTZ N SAID 'SKY Y? I LUV U AND UR TO BEAUTIFUL TOO DO THIS TOO URSELF'" shit. Fuck that. Instead of giving me Prince Charming, give me real emotions because Sky's emotions are always either sad or saddest.

And here I was hoping for a scene where she'd go nuts answering all the questions in her head.
