Keep this to yourself but....
NOT EVERYONE'S FUCKING PARENTS ARE ABUSIVE. AND BACK IN MY DAY IT WAS ACCEPTABLE TO SMACK YOUR FUCKING KID ACROSS THE FACE WHEN THEY TALKED BACK. I'M 20 AND MY PARENTS STILL DO THAT TO ME.
Abuse is beating your child into a pulp. Just because mommy smacked your butt doesn't mean she's abusing you. Maybe Sky was just being a little shit that day.
And why the fuck are her parents always abusive? Why can't she have a happy home? I read the abusive parent stories for a laugh because most are so poor and so unoriginal and so badly written, it's funny to me.
Give one of her parents cancer. Maybe one's over seas. Maybe she has a wicked step mother who's not abusive, just unfair. Get different with it. Or get jiggy with it. Whichever one.
And don't get me started on adoptions.

Chapter 61: I give serious props to a fanfic on here where the OC protagonist, like the rest of us, has a not-good to okay singing voice. Personally, I wouldn't sing in front of the Brides unless *thier* lives depended on it... I'm too afraid I'd ruin thier ability to create music!
