Heart of Fire

*Skylar's POV*

Jinxx was so sweet. He comforted me about the situation even though I knew I was probably making it a bigger deal than it was. We picked out some black war paint and other rubbish. I was never one for shopping. Once we got home I fell into bed and hoped that I would quickly fall into a deep dreamless sleep, we had a concert tomorrow.

Of course that wasn't what happened. I laid in bed for an hour before finally getting up and going outside for a smoke. I heard the door open behind me and Jackson stepped out. Great, just the person I wanted to see. He had a cigarette as well and stepped up beside me.

"I'm really sorry about how things played out earlier, I was out of line. I guess I'm not completely over Mom and Dad either." At this point tears started to form in my eyes and I looked up at the dark, cloudy, night sky, "I shouldn't have said what I did and I understand if your pissed at me."

The tears started to fall. I turned and embraced him. I couldn't hold it back anymore, all of the year's of holding it in and trying to be strong for him fell away and left a weak, sobbing, girl crying in her brother's arm in a parking lot somewhere in Ohio.

Before the show I had to apply extra make up because my eyes were still puffy and I had dark circles under my eyes. I was fumbling with my microphone before going on stage and Ashley came beside me and planted a kiss on my cheek.

"You look beautiful," he said, "We are having a party afterwards if you wanted to come. You don't have to if you don't want."

"Of course I'll come since you'll be there." I looked up into his eyes, he was quite a bit taller than me.

"Can't wait then."

He put an arm around me and roughly but affectionately kissed me. My knees went weak and I scolded myself at this. For some reason it made me happy he kissed me in front of people, like he was proud of having me.

A few minutes later we all went on stage to screams and applause. I was blown away by how many people supported us. Our fan base had grown so quickly.

I found Ashley afterwards and was in a great mood. He was with the rest of BVB and Nicki was standing very close to CC, I wondered if they were dating now or something. Ash put his arm my waist and ran his thumb in circles on my bare skin. My skin was so sensitive to his touch, I couldn't focus. That man.

We walked to the party and I decided that I would let myself go and have as much fun as possible. I spent a while drinking and talking to Nicki. She told me that her and CC were in fact dating but they were having problems but how perfect their sex was and how she didn't like so and so 's hair blah blah blah.

After having five drinks I started to wonder the house. I wasn't drunk yet, surprisingly, I felt totally in control. I went upstaira and there were still many people there. One of the bedroom doors were open so I walked to the door frame. Ashley was standing there looking out the window. What were the chances. He turned and looked me and I started to walk towards him. He embraced me in a powerful hug.

I took in his scent, he smelled of cologne and energy. I could hear each breath he took and feel his heart beat speeding up. I didn't think I could have that effect on him. "What are you thinking?" I asked.

He smiled, his expression said it all, "It's pretty obvious."

"Yeah, I guess it is is." I went up on my toes and kissed him, I wrapped my arms around his neck and he parted my lips. He set his hands on my hips and drew me closer. I slipped my hands under his shirt and felt the muscles of his back. Everything about him was so perfect.

My hands rose higher and higher until I removed his shirt. He pulled back and looked into my eyes, "Are you sure?" He asked. I smiled and nodded my head leaning back in to kiss him more.
