My Fallen Angel
Worry
Ashlandil
I was worried.
The show had ended an hour ago and Kenali wasn't here.
She'd said she would meet us, uness she'd changed her mind, but that wasn't like her.
I watched the street anxiously.
Had she changed her mind?
Did she not wanna be with us?
With me?
I shifted my weight anxiously as I stood at the entrance of the alleyway where the bus was parked, watching all the people as they walked by, none of them the one I worried for.
where was she?
I needed her to come with us; I felt so guilty for the way I had treated her, and now that she'd finally started her sins, wanted to make sure she experienced all the good of this world.
Kenali. "Ash?" I glanced over, jerking myself from my reverie and seeing Andy step up beside me. "You okay, man?"
"Yeah." I turned my gaze back to the street.
Something was definitely wrong.
She wouldn't abandon Andiel again, not like this. She was stronger now, and she could protect him; the only reason she had even slept with me was so she could be stronger for him.
something awful had to be stopping her.
I could feel it in my chest, A dull ache that wouldn't go away, and I clenched my fists.
"I need to go find Kenna." I said after a moment. "Somethings wrong."
Andy hesitated, then nodded, his face withdrawn. "I know. I can feel it. Go. I'll call you if she gets here."
really? If even the mortal-born angel could tell something was off... I cast him one more glance before I took off, following her scent.
It was faint after so long, but I would find her.
I would find Kenali, and I would bring her home, so help me God.
