Ccs pov
it was a a couple days later, and already miranda was feeling the sickness that came with cancer. twice she had to call me to come get cory, which andy wasnt too happy about since it should be him.miranda was feeling the best she had the last couple days, so i decided to have family night. everyone was coming to my place for dinner, including my nephew and sister.
i was really nervous about the situtation of habing to take care of a young chhild, it was hard enough ith miranda, but she had always been a hard headed girl. i could already tell that cory was the same way, and he had andys temper. i felt bad for miranda, having to deal with it all by herself, but i also laughed, cause i had been dealing with it for years.
''cory!!!'' i heard from upstairs, as miranda was trying to get cory to take a nap before the long night, but it didnt dsound o be going all that well. i heard thumping on the stairs
''cory! get back here!'' miranda yelled. i swoopped into action, and caught him at the bottom of the stairs
''you giving your mama a hard time?'' he nodded
''cory!'' miranda was looking for him
''wanna have some fun?''
''ya'' i ran to the kitchen, opeing one of the empty cupboards
''hid in there'' i told him ''stay quiet'' and he listened. i went to the pantry to grab chips, just as miranda walked in
''where he is?''
''who? andy? how would i know?''
''cory, where did you hid my son?'
''i didnt hide him!''
''mmmhmm....''
''he did it himself. he is his own person you know'' i smirked at her
''okay fine. since you wanna play games. you find him, and put him to bed, while i sit and eat chips'' she said, taking the chips out of my hands
''i will, and ill do it better than you ever have''
''good luck''
''thank you'' i turned and opened the cupboard after miranda had left the kitchen ''we wont tell anyone about you hiding spot''
i took cory upstairs, helped him into thee bed
''cuddle!'' he requested
''you want cuddles?'' he nodded, while reaching for me. i layed down beside him, and he buried himself in the crook of my side
''story pleeese?'' i racked my brian for something to tell him
''once apon of time, there was a kingdom, ruled by king who really didnt know what he was doing. he had a princess, who was very troublesom, but he loved her dearly. one day, his princess meet a boy, who she fell for, but the king did not approve of this boy, for he was one of the rebels, trying to rise from the ashes, and be a savouir to people, living under FEAR. the princess went behind the kings back with this rebel, and soon, they had a child. but the king didnt know, for the princess ran far away from the kingdom. years later, she returned, after fining out that the king was sick. she became the ruler of the kingdom, and lived happily ever after...'' i looked down at cory, who was now fast asleep beside me. soon my own eyes grew heavey, and i feel asleep.
