the things left behind

i was to be in the hospital in two days. i wasnt ready emotionally, or mentaily. but i didnt have a choice. i wanted to beat this for my son, so that i could see all of his special moments through life.
i pulled into andys drive way, with cory in the back, sitting in his car seat playing with an aiplan. i get out of the car, gettng cory from the back, and with him on my hip, carried him to anndys front door.
''ding doooong'' mimincked cory after i rang the door bell. the door opened seconds later, andy standing shirtless, with a pair of black jeans on, and wet hair.
''hey, you are early'' he said
''yea... sorry about that, didnt think it would be a problem... but guess i was wrong'' i laughed awkwardly, trying not to look at his beautiful chest, with the tattoo of a dragonfly on it
''no no, its not. i got distracted...'' he blushed ''come in'' he stepped aside, letting me by. i put cory down, and watched as he chased after femme
'' remember when cc puinshed me by making me watch all the batman movies with you?'' i smirked at the memory
''thought you were gunna take my head off''
''almost did''
''so, shopping with ella today?''
''yea, wig day...''
'' im sorry miranda... i know how muh you love your hair...'' i was sad. i had worked for so long to get my hair to thee perfect bang, with the right shade of red that perfectly complimmented my skin color. and now i was going to loose it, chunk, after chunk....
''atleast ill be able to have awesome colors that i wouldnt have been able to before'' that was how i was fighting this, staying positive, always finding the silver lining
''true. what will you do when all your hair grows back though?''
''i dont know... maybe give them back?''
''why dont you give them to someone who cant afford one?''
''wow andy... that is an amazing idea...''
''oh.. thanks...''
'' what are you boys gunna be up to today?''
''i dont know yet, im gunna let him pick'' i nodded

''whats up?''
''what was happening between you and ash the other night?''
''oh... that...i... ashley blames me for every thing that happen. he thinks you ran away because i forced you into sex...''
''but you didnt, i wanted that to happen...and i dont regret it''
''why not?''
''i got a wonderful son, and he has an amazing dad, someone i can trust. and i wanted it''
''why did you want it?''
''i liked you, a lot. and you aare hot''
'' i am'' he gavve me that smug look
''i-i uh, i mean, uh, you were. well i best be going... see ya. cory baby!! mommys going now'' he came, and kissed me goodbye, then i bolted from the house.
when i got to ellas, and jakes, i was greeted by trixy and earnie
''hey guys!'' i cheered, bending down to pet them, and ended up getting eanries big tongue in the face ''i missed you guys too!'' i laughed
''hey miranda'' jake said, simling.
''how are you?'' i asked
''good, wishing ella would hurry up aand finish getting ready''
''leave her alone! she deserves time to herself from having to put up with you all day''
''thank you miranda'' laughed ella, coming into the room ''ready?''
''for sure. see ya later jake'' i called over my shoulder, while they kissed. i hopped into ellas clean car, with an aux cord instead of mine with its bottles rolling around, toys filling the back seat, and wat ever else was in there.
picking out a wig wasnt easy, and they were all so itchy.
''what about that one?'' said ella, pointing out a blue wig, that would fall down to my ribs
''mmmmm..... i want one with more side bangs...''
''could i help you miss?'' said a store worker, popping out of no where
''my friend her is looking for a wig that matches her hair, and something totally different'' ella told him
''well, remembeer that you could always cut the wigs to your liking'' he told us. hours later, we ended up with blues, and greens slowly fading into one another, and a long red one that we got cut to match how my hair is now i was really happy with what i got.
after wards, i picked up cory, but they were in the middle of dinner, so i had stayed, really enjoying the feeling of a family that came with it.
