"Nice car, Vic." Alex grinned, leaning against the Range Rover.

"Don't lean on it. It's my Dad's car." Vic snapped, shoving Alex away.

I stood with Jake across the way. Our luggage had been stowed in the back of the car. We would be travelling with Vic, Kellin, Ben and Jack in the Range Rover.

In the Fiat, Alex's car, would be Tay, Shay, Ashley and Hannah. And finally in the third car, Jenna's Citroen, would be Oli, Bret, Danny and Ariana. I was kind of glad to be far away from her, to be honest. I don't think I was the only one.

She had smiled at Jake earlier and waved, rather teasingly at him. He narrowed his eyes in a glare at her. Shay was standing next to Jake at the time and had done the same. They seemed united in their dislike of her. I was just happy my best friend and boyfriend were bonding.

Alex laughed loudly and pressed the button on his key and the Fiat Panda doors unlocked. Tay slammed the boot and slid into the passenger seat. Shay hugged me and clambered into the backseat with Hannah and Ash. Kellin skipped over and hugged me as well.

Across the way, Oli waved at me and got into the front seat of Jenna's Citroen. Bret had agreed to sit in the back with Danny and Ariana. He pulled a pained face and Kellin snorted out a laugh.

"Right all aboard." Vic called.

Kellin clambered into the passenger seat. Jack and Ben sat in the middle seats and Jake and I sat at the back.

"No making out back there." Jack grinned, leaning over the seat.

"Jack, buckle up, please." Vic said, peering into the rearview mirror.

Jack giggled and slid down into his seat, clicking his belt into place. I heard Ben mimic him.

"Fair warning, if you piss me off, I'm gonna punch you in the throat." He said to Jack.

"Oh, Benjamin. I'm offended." I could hear the amusement in Jack's tone.

Vic started the car and we followed Alex's Fiat. I leaned into Jake and he wrapped an arm round me. It was still really early. We had all got up at five thirty ready for the four and a half hour drive to Cornwall.

"Let's sing a driving song." Kellin laughed.

"Let's not." Vic said.

"Awh come on, Viccy." Kellin was persistant.

We drifted into silence after a while. I looked out the window.

"Who's looking after Ernie and Trixie?" I asked.

"Dad and Maria get that dubious honour." Jake chuckled.

I laughed at that and nestled closer to him. My eyes started to drift closed. When I re-opened my eyes we were obviously out of London.

"Hey, Sleeping Beauty." Jake grinned.

I shifted a little and looked at him. He had obviously been asleep too. I tried to see over the seat. Jack was still asleep. Ben was reading a book and he smiled when he saw me. At the front of the car, Vic was focusing on the road and Kellin was curled up, fast asleep.

"You all right, Kota?" Vic asked.

"Are we stopping for a toilet break soon?" I said, and he nodded.

"Yeah, there's a service station just before going on the M5," He replied. "Alex is heading there so I'll follow."

We stopped at the station to refuel and go toilet. Vic pulled up to refuel and nudged Kellin. We all got out as did, a very sleepy, Kellin. I rushed to the toilet along with Shay and Jenna.

When I got back, I saw Jake talking to Bret. They were smiling so I hoped everything was all right.

"Got you and Jake a drink." Bret grinned, handing me two cans of Coke.

"Thanks Bret." I replied.

Once we'd all finished, everyone piled back into the cars and we continued on to the M5. The drive was still quite long. No one in our car wanted to sleep anymore. Kellin was chatting to Vic. Jack was joking with Ben. Jake and I spent the next couple of hours talking as well.

The drive continued till we got to Treffry Road and we knew we were in Cornwall. Vic seemed relieved too. We turned onto Bodmin Road then took another turn onto Moresk Road. Alex's car took several more turns and we went into a small village called St.Ives.

Vic followed Alex till we got to a hill and we carried on a few more metres till we got to a large cottage. Vic cut the brakes and grinned back at us.

"I think we're here." He opened the door.

Kellin was out of the car first. His energy seemed to have returned. Alex walked up to the cottage and unlocked the door. Tay, meanwhile, was getting the luggage out the car.

Vic opened the boot and started removing the hold-alls. He handed me my pink one and I grabbed Jake's.

"Hey, let me take that." Jake went to grab the bag and I backed up.

"No, I can totally handle this." I laughed, nearly dropping them.

I laughed when Jake tried to wrestle the bag from me. We all piled into the cottage. Alex walked over to the coffee table and picked up a note. He held it up and smirked, opening it.

"Hey guys, welcome to Cornwall. Isobel and myself send our warmest welcome. We have included a bit of spending money for some drinks. Please do not drink my vintage scotch," Alex chuckled. "Or I will murder you, Alex."

His face creased into a frown and Jack laughed loudly. Tay was standing next to Alex and was giggling.

"Enjoy yourselves and see you soon, Peter and Isobel." Alex finished.

He walked over to the archway leading to the kitchen. Tay sighed and stood in front of us. I guessed it was time to decide where everyone would be sleeping.

"Right, Alex and I will have the main bedroom. There are three other bedrooms," She said, glancing at each of us.

"Single guy here. I'll take the couch." Ben said.

"I'll sleep on the other couch then." Jack grinned.

"I don't mind setting up my sleeping bag on the floor," Jenna smiled. "You all right with that?"

She glanced at Bret and he nodded. Alex strolled out the kitchen, carrying two boxes. He set them down.

"There are three air matresses." He said, glancing at us.

"We can have the second one then." Oli said, and Hannah nodded.

"Vic and I volunteer for the third air mattress," Kellin leapt forward. "I wanna have sex on it."

A few people laughed at that. Oli and Hannah looked a little surprised, but Hannah was the first to burst out laughing. Jenna raised her eyebrows. Vic was shaking his head.

"That means we get one of the bedrooms then?" Ariana smirked. "We want the biggest one."

Alex shook his head and glanced round at us. He looked like he was trying to think of what to do. He sighed then.

"I'll show each of you to your rooms. It's partially my cottage so I should get final say." He said, determination in his tone.

The rest of us followed him down a hallway. He paused at a door and unlocked it. He pushed the door open. The bedroom was amazing.

"Shay and Ash, you guys can have this room." He motioned for them to enter.

Shay looked overjoyed by the room and raced to the bed, flopping onto it and laughing. Ash rolled his eyes and shut the door. Alex carried on up the hallway, pausing at another door. He unlocked it and pushed it open.

The last room had been painted lilac and cream whereas this room was pure white. It was so pretty.

"Danny and Ariana, you guys can have the room opposite my parent's room." He nudged them forward. Danny grinned and stepped in. He dumped his bag by the desk.

Alex carried on up the corridor and stopped at the door next to the main bedroom. He unlocked it and Jake and I stepped into the room.

"You guys can have the second largest room." Alex grinned.

The room was massive. Its walls were painted a light blue. Alex walked over to the window and drew the curtains. There was a glass door that opened onto a veranda.

"This is amazing." I smiled, stepping onto the veranda.

The view of the beach and ocean was so beautiful. Alex nodded and then suddenly remembered something. He walked back to the bed and clicked a switch. Fairy lights shone above the bed.

"Ta-da," He chuckled. "Anyway, I'll leave you guys to settle in."

Jake grinned and shut the door as Alex left. He walked onto the veranda and stood next to me. The sun was shining down onto the sand, making it look white. I leaned back when Jake stood behind me.

"This is so cool." I smiled.

"Yeah, it's amazing. Wanna go test the bed?" He smirked.

"N-no, don't be vulgar." I giggled then.

Before I could protest any further, Jake scooped me into his arms. I shrieked loudly and he set me on the bed. I went to sit up, but he was on top of me in seconds, lips finding mine.

A gasp left my lips when he pressed kisses down my neck. I whimpered when he bit down on my neck. I could feel my dress hiking up and Jake's hand gripped my thigh, tracing patterns on my skin.

Someone hammered on the door and we pulled apart.

"Fuck off." Jake shouted.

"Charming." Shay's voice said.

"Stop having sex and come get some booze with us." Ashley's voice too.

Jake seemed to be inching towards ignoring them, but they wouldn't go away. Eventually, we had to give up. I was still very nervous about sex so I was glad of the distraction. I was hoping for some mental preparation.

Ashley and Shay walked in. Shay sat on the bed and hugged me. She seemed to know I was nervous and mouthed the words 'don't worry' at me.

Travelling into town was fun. We found a supermarket and bought a load of alcohol. I chose some alco-pops since I wasn't keen on Vodka, Jagermeister or spirits. The cashier looked a bit stunned by the amount of alcohol.

Shay managed to get ID'd, which was surprising as it was usually me that got ID'd. Back at the cottage, Alex ordered pizza and we sat eating together. The night was starting to draw in by the time we'd all settled in.

No one wanted to drink tonight. Everyone seemed really tired after the long day of travelling. I said good night at nine thirty. Jake was already in the room. He smiled when I walked in.

I clambered onto the bed and curled up against him. I lay there for a while and finally my eyes drifted shut and I fell asleep.
