Unexpected Message
Jade's Thoughts and POV
I have no idea who Carter was talking to but it was making me wonder what the conversation was about. I had no idea what she needed money for or for what reason. To be completely honest I don't completely trust her because I barely know her. I know it sounds bad and she's my twin sister but I didn't know she existed until a few weeks ago. Nobody's heard from Sophie either since all of that went down with Jake. All of this is strange. I don't know why she's helping Juliet either. It's weird. How do they even know each other except for the one time they met here?
Carter walks in the room.
Me: So why are you needing money and helping Juliet?
Carter: What're you talking about?
Me: Cut the crap I heard your phone conversation. You need money and I know it's for Juliet but you're not getting it from any of us. She literally acted like she was on our side but was helping Scout.
Carter: Look Juliet has a drug problem and didn't want any of the guys to know about it.
Me: So why does she need money? It's not like she don't have plenty of it.
Carter: Because she's broke. Scout took everything she had and had her bank account and debit card froze.
Me: Uh huh. Just know if you helping her causes any problems with any of us, me and you are gonna have a problem.
Jade's phone vibrates with a text message.
Mom: Hey, how are you and Sophie?
Me: Fine. Why didn't you tell me I have a twin sister and that Tyler is alive?
Mom: How do you know about them?
Me: They found me and explained everything. You told Aunt Lizzie I drowned in a bathtub?! Why not just really kill me? You know how much I've missed Tyler over the years but didn't bother to tell me he was alive. Not to mention me having a twin sister just didn't pop up in a conversation.
Mom: I'm so sorry but it was for the best. Carter's a demon who can't be trusted. You'll see that one day. And your brother was safer there than here.
Me: Save the sorrys for another time. You don't even know Carter. You took one look at her and passed her off. I see now why dad was always so unhappy with you and let me do whatever I wanted. Goodbye mom and don't bother trying to explain. Have the kid free life you made it out to be you had.
Unfreakingbelievable. I can't believe she would text me that after she literally kicked me out.
Andy walks in.
Andy: Hey babe you don't look so happy. What's going on?
Me: My mom just texted me out of nowhere. She tried to make excuses for everything that's happened. I told her not to bother texting back cause I don't want to hear what she has to say.
Andy: Damn. I'm sorry.
Me: Don't be. I can't help how she is and neither can you. I'm just happy I got away from her. Anyways I figured out Carter was talking to Juliet. Apparently Juliet has a drug problem and wants money.
Andy: Hmm that don't sound like her but then again neither did being a cheater but she was that.
Me: Yeah well I told Carter if them two causes any problems with any of us then me and her are gonna have a problem.
Andy: Good. Look I love you and I'm happy I met you. Let's take a nap and forget about everything for a little while.

Eek new chapter. I think it's good so far. I'm not trying to rush anything between Jade and Andy. They're story is good so far.
Can't wait to read what happens next! :)
