Tyler's POV and Thoughts
It's been real quiet around without Sophie. It's also been really calm since Carter can't see her to fight her. I can't believe that Andy's ex came to kidnap Jake and fake his death just to get back at Andy. He could've done a lot better than her and Juliet, but I guess he had to work with who he knew. Jade seems to make him very happy. I know she'll be good to him and I can see he's great to him and he makes her really happy. I know I haven't seen Jade since I was 15, but she's still the same person just grown up a ton.I'm glad to see her happy. I know our mom must've made her life a living hell after I had to go live with Aunt Lizzie. I feel bad for her.
Jade walks in
Jade: Hey Ty, guess who I heard from?
Me: I have no clue. Who?
Jade: Mom. She texted me and asked how me and Sophie was doing. Then tried to say sorry for everything that's happened. I told her I didn't want to hear her sorrys and that I felt bad for dad and understood why he was always so unhappy.
Me: Oh damn. I can't believe she would even feel bad for that. She did this to herself. It's her fault things are the way they are.
Jade: Yeah you're right. That's what I told her too. I told her she could go live the kid free life she made it out to be that she had.
Me: Good. She don't need to try to worm her way back into any of our lives.
Jade: No she don't. She's controlling as shit. Me and Andy are gonna go watch a movie. We'll be back later.
Me: Okay be safe.
Jade and Andy left.
I can't believe mom texted Jade after all she put her through. Hell even after what she did to Carter. She just completely ditched her the second she was born. I don't understand how you can do that to a kid. I get how they shipped me off. It was for my safety. I was better off at Aunt Lizzie's but mom still could've called or texted every once in a while. I know dad wasn't able to cause she kept him from having any contact with anyone. I don't want anything to do with her especially since she hasn't had anything to do with me. It's just weird she all of a sudden texted Jade out of nowhere.
