Likes to go out at night and jam with John 5 and sometimes Jinxx and Blasko. (Former/generally inactive Berserker- most Berserkers will fight outside the wall, he will only join the fight if walls penetrated, like Councilmen and Elder(s).)

  • Apprentice Messenger, he just started learning under Angus fairly recently, having finished Training not too long ago. He's catching on pretty quickly and making swift progress.

    Eliza's Family
  • Grampy Manson:
  • Dark Mountain Elf, deceased, former prison guard at Sighfe Mountain. Fell in love with Eliza's Grammy, Gen, when she was held prisoner there over 1000 years ago. Arranged for her escape, and came with her to the Forest. They were turned away by all Tribes, including the Wild Ones, except for Merry Willows, who allowed them to settle on the outskirts of their Village. Developed into a formidable warrior almost by accident, and defended Merry Willows against raids with his wife, his son, (his daughter would not fight), and later his granddaughter. Manson was driven insane with grief when he saw his wife killed in battle, and was subsequently mortally wounded by a huge force of orcs, though none were left standing. This happened when Eliza was a pre-teen. Eliza often recalls his huge horn, large as a wagon wheel (it was not quite that large), the other had been broken off by the time she was an infant.

  • Grammy Gen:
  • Dusk Fae, deceased, that never fit into the mold where she grew up. Her tribe (no longer extant) was not at all like the Wild Ones. They had nobility, and social castes. She was born into the nobility, but expected to go through obligatory military service. When she elected to become a Berserker, her family was intensely displeased, and when she indicated she was interested in a military career, her family began to plot her murder. The ruling class foolishly took offense to a minor raid the Dark Mountain Elves had made for some supplies, and sent Gen after them, hoping she would be killed, while they would still save face as having taken action. Instead, Gen was taken prisoner. There, she fell in love with one of the lowest ranking prison guards, finding he was not like all the rumors had said Dark Mountain Elves were at all. The Guard, Manson, arranged for her escape, and she asked that he come with her. Together, they built a new life on the outskirts of Merry Willows for hundreds of years, very, very gradually gaining the trust of the populace Fae by defending the Village from thousands of attacks alongside their somewhat pathetic Watch. When Gen grew older, she still insisted on accompanying Manson into battle. When Eliza was a pre-teen, one day, Gen fell, and it was the end of their story together. Eliza was left alone with her mother and father.

note to self- never start a bulleted list again! it's impossible to stop/work with once you start!

the character list maxes out at 20, so i'll just add bits and pieces to this chapter as we go along. let me know when this starts taking too long to load, and i can start a new chapter. i have a really extensive character sheet on a word document sheet that i use to keep track of everyone, and i keep their wings/bios/etc. on there, so let me know if there's a character i've mentioned you really want to see a picture of, or anything along those lines, i may already have one picked out (problem is finding a link to a picture that's not too huge...)

i cleaned up my previous visual aid chapter so the pictures are scaled a little better and it should look a little bit nicer
