Leave us alone!

The 3rd floor was under construction and therefore posed an adventure the minute I stepped onto it. It was the only floor so far that required a key card to access it.

The first few suites had unlocked doors, the beds weren’t made and the rooms had tiny hotel room toiletry bottles scattered about the bathroom that were covered in dust. The mirrors were also dusty but at least they showed my reflection. I retied my bandana in my hair, it felt like it was about to be a long night.

None of the rooms on this floor had running water. One of the rooms had a coffee maker with a moldy coffeepot. I made my way to the elevators and found the doorway draped in plastic. Oops. Apparently moldy coffee is on lockdown and I found the big secret.

Whatever, I went back to the stairwell and onto the fourth floor but my master key wouldn’t grant me access to that floor. I stared blankly through the small window built into the doorway, somebody was standing in the hallway but I couldn’t tell who.

“HEY!” I banged on the window but the person didn’t move. I bashed my fist against the glass again and sighed. “Is that you?” I texted Jinxx.

“No….” He texted back almost immediately.

Excited that somebody else finally existed in this place, I had to keep the conversation going.
“Where are you?” I tried.

“I’m in room 555.” He texted.

“Have you seen the 3rd floor?” I banged the spikes of my bracelet against the window. The person in the hallway still hadn’t moved.

“No it says Under Construction in Russian…” He replied.

“I have a master key.” I wrote.

“Can you let me out? My door is stuck or something.” He wrote.

I was fixated on the jerk in the hallway that was obviously ignoring me. It was a little bit unnerving. “I’m trying to access floor 4.” I texted, squinting to see any sign of movement. The guy didn’t appear to be breathing, what was he guarding?

“They told me not to leave the fifth floor. Turns out I can’t. lol.” Jinxx wrote.

“I woke up on the first floor a few mins ago?” I looked up at the guy again. He was gone. I yelled and knocked at the window, repeatedly trying my key card.

“Your room is next to mine. How’d you end up there?” He wrote.

“I don’t even know.” I wrote and said at the same time. “Do you have coffee?”

“Tons but no coffee pot. Lol.” He wrote.

“I found one.” I sighed a huge sigh of relief. “I’ll bring it.” After grabbing the moldy coffee pot I decided to try the elevator.

The button for the 4th floor was removed so I shoved the spike of my bracelet into the button hole and waited.

When the door opened a wall with a giant 4 appeared opposite the elevator. “Hello?” I called out as though I’d accidentally met this fate. I stepped off the elevator toward where the guy had been standing, the door to that wing was shut and there was blood on the handle.
What the hell is on that floor?

@Bethylee
I was going to write a part 2 and have CC trapped in some kind of Water/Earth related theme this time. Jake Pitts has a youtube vid of the Bellagio, so I was thinking what if CC fell into it during a light show and landed in another world?
