~ The Sun will Shine Again ~

Star's P.O.V.~

Xander and I stayed in a hotel last night to make sure we get to the grounds of Warped Tour at Club Nokia on time. I put my damp hair in a high ponytail with my bangs left out and began to do my makeup. It was suppose to get around 85 degrees today so I covered my eyelids in shadow primer and light shades of browns with my liquid eyeliner to make a wing. I brushed my teeth and waited for Xander to exit the bathroom so I could use it.

We paid for our room and grabbed all our things and walked out the automatic doors. "I'm so excited. Am I going to meet the band you're helping out with?" I blabbered, helping put the things in the trunk. "Yes, I'll make you do. But you have to stay by my side at all times unless told otherwise." I nodded and put in my playlist in the car.

Half an hour later we made it to the venue. Teenagers in short shorts and crop tops were scattered around the place with mixtures of war paint and lip gloss. "What's up with the stitches across their faces?" I ask Xander, getting my ticket. "Just some band's style, or at least it use to be. I'm not sure." I thanked the lady at security and continued speaking. "What band?" "Not sure-oh hey! Come on it's over here." He grabbed my hand and dragged me to the guy where the maps are.

We stopped in a corner and looked at all the times of the bands sets. "You have to let me see New Year's Day, Pvris, Pierce the Veil, Silverstein and Set it Off." I demanded excitedly. "Okay, but we'll miss some of New Year's Day. It starts at 1:20 and the meet and greet we have to help with is at 1:15." I pouted but nodded anyways.

We wandered around until we got down the hill and found the AP Magazine tent. A small line was formed to get wristbands to meet their favorite bands but with our passes, we made it to Xander's partner who was currently giving out wristbands. "Hey Amanda, when's the band coming?" She looked at Xander and at the clock. "15 minutes. Wanna go get everyone in line?" He grabbed megaphone and escorted everyone in a straight line.

I stood behind Amanda and moved back and forth on my heels. "What's the band?" She gave one more wristband before shutting it down. "Black Veil Brides, ever hear of them?" I shook my head but remembered seeing their shirts at Hot Topic. "No, I'm just here with Xander and some of the other band's sets." She nodded in understanding and left to help Xander. "Come on Star, you stand over to the right and I'll stand here. You'll be by the lead singer, I'll be near the drummer. Make sure no one gets out of hand. Meaning, no hugs or any unnecessary touching of the band members." "Okay..." I said nervously, standing in my spot.

I heard cries and screams, bringing my attention back to reality. The first guy to sit down the lead singer, he had shaggy black hair but I couldn't see his face. Everyone sat down until I saw the drummer. He froze like a deer in headlights as he saw my face. His attention from me broke as a fan spoke his name. "Hi CC! How are you?" The small girl squealed as he signed her phone case. "I'm good, and you?" She was all smiles, it was actually sweet seeing him interact. His eyes shifted over to the boy who was standing by me and that's when I realized.

His raven black hair, tall slim figure, the way he laughs when his fans squeal. Andy. I started breathing heavily and Xander noticed. "Are you okay?" He mouthed, I nodded and looked ahead, trying to ignore the boy sitting less than two feet from me. But that wasn't all. Next to him, I noticed was Ashley, then Jake, and Jinxx. They did it, they actually made their dream. I noticed a girl continuously poking at Andy and trying to grab his hand. I tapped her shoulder and gently pulled her away from the famous lead singer.

"Thanks" His deep voice startled me. I kept my hair in my face and nodded shyly. "No problem." I mumbled. He turned back to his fans and soon it was over. He stood up and his body towered over me. CC kept staring at me, and Jake noticed who elbowed Jinxx. His eyes nearly popped out of his skull. I smiled weakly and waved. Jake's mouth was dropped but closed it in time for Ashley who had just turned to speak to Andy. His eyes darted to me but left, clearly showing he hadn't recognized me. But the one that shot me even more was her voice.

"Ashley! I missed you so much!" Violet pounced on him and kissed his lips. Xander watched me as my heart broke, seeing them right here in front of me. Xander came over and snapped his fingers at me. "Star are you-" I covered his mouth. "That's Andy" I mouthed, nodding towards him. "Yeah, so?" I rolled my eyes. "No, that's Andrew. My Andy." His eyes widened before taking a deep breath. "Are you guys good then?" Xander asked Andy. "Yeah, thanks man. You two gonna show at our set?" Xander shrugged and smiled. "Wouldn't miss it."

My heart sank at the realization that he hadn't even recognized me. He looked right at me and smiled a clueless smile. Confusion flashed through his features as I looked away and shadowed myself behind Xander. "You dating?" Ashley's voice rumbled through my ears. "Nah, she's a close friend." Ashley held out his hand and I took it slowly and shook it. "Ashley Purdy, and this is my girlfriend, Violet." Violet stood in front of Xander, trying to say hello. "Hi" my voice said quietly. "Well we'd better go. She wants to see the rest of New Year's Day." He wrapped his arm protectively around my waist and left the tent.

"Are you okay?" He asks, wiping the tears from my cheeks. "I don't know. I don't know how I'm suppose to feel." I wrapped my arms around his waist. "Let's go see Ashley Costello okay?" I smiled and made our way into the crowd. New Year's Day came and went and no it was time for Silverstein. We got into the front by the time Pvris was on but I couldn't get over to her stage since there was a giant mosh pit in the crowd. Lynn barely got to leave the stage before teens all around me starting chanting "Black Veil Brides! Black Veil Brides!" I looked over at Xander and he grabbed my hand.

CC ran out first in tight leather pants and shirtless. He started out in a drum solo, flipping his hair around. Next was Jake and Jinxx run out of their guitars and playing a chord. Then Ashley who blew a kiss out to the crowd, making girls scream. And finally, Andy. He ran out a pair of short, black overalls and a batman pin. "How are you motherfuckers doing out here tonight?!" My heart raced at the sound of his raspy voice. "This first one, is for all the Fallen Angels out there in the crowd tonight. MAKE SOME NOISE!" Ashley began strumming on his bass while Jake and Jinxx were back to back. I was front row in the crowd.

He reached down and touched everyone's hands. I was pushed up against the barrier as girls were piling over to touch him. Xander grabbed my waist and pulled my away from them. Andy smiled at us gently and began roaring in song. Xander had pulled me out of three mosh pits by now, and I already had a bloody nose. "The final song is In the End. Sing it with me!" Lyrics were being screamed and chanted with Andy as I desperately tried to avoid looking at him and held onto Xander.

"Thank you all so much for coming to watch our set. You guys rocked it tonight, I love you so much. And I'd appreciate greatly if you'd go tonight and see my lovely girlfriend, Juliet's set. Okay, I love you all. Goodnight!" He waved and ran off the stage with Ashley and Jake right behind him. Girlfriend. I shook it off and pushed the crowd to go to Pierce the Veil's set. Hey started off right away with their newest song, the Divine Zero. I was three rows from the front and the mosh pits were insane, but never the less, Xander and I had a blast.

"Set it off is in three hours. We have to help Pierce the Veil backstage at the tent with the fans." My eyes lit up as we walked over to the food stations. I grabbed a soft pretzel and split it with Xander. My phone vibrates in my pocket making me unlock it.

-Star? Can we talk?-

I stared at Christian's name. "Xander, look." His eyes widened slightly while placing a bite of pretzel in his mouth. "If you want to, I'll be right by your side."

-Yeah, when?-
-After Juliet's sets?-
-Sure. Xander's got passes.-

"We're going to talk after Juliet." "Are you sure you're okay with this?" I swallowed my food and lay my head on my hands. "I don't think I'll ever be able to be okay with it. Andy didn't even recognize me. He probably forgot about me after that day."

Don't bother coming back here. Ever. I don't want to fucking see your face again. Was this your plan? To find me again and fucking tear me apart?! Is this some sort of revenge?! Stay the fuck away from here, I don't need you.

"Hey, hey baby don't cry. It's okay." He wrapped his arms around me tightly. "Shhh, you're okay." I threw away the wrapper and walked into the bathroom to wipe away the dried blood and running mascara. "Omg did you see how Jake looked at me? He said he liked my shirt!" "Oh god but what about the way Andy smiled at me. Fuck Juliet, he'd be so much better off with me." "What about that Violet chick? I bet he's only with her because she's a good fuck." The three girls started laughing as I spun around. "Why don't you twats mind your own fucking business about people you don't even know?"

The tallest one placed her hand on her hip. "Oh yeah? Who are you? My mother?" "No, but you should probably call her soon letting her know how much of a slut her daughter is. Seriously how old are you? 15? You're a baby. Slow down." They scoffed and stormed out in rhythm.

"Ready to go meet Pierce the Veil?" I nodded eagerly. You stand by Vic, I'll stand by Jaime." I stood patiently and looked around. Several girls and boys were in tears from meeting their heroes. Parents were talking among themselves, blocking out the thumping of the speakers. Then cheers erupted once again as Vic gave several fans a hug and say beside me. "Hello beautiful." I blushed and giggled. "Hi Vic, I'm Star." He shook my hand and smiled at me kindly. "Nice to meet you."

Jaime ended up drawing on the table waiting for more fans and Mike was drumming his sharpie on the table. "I think we're about done." Xander said, looking for Amanda. "It was so nice to finally meet you. I've been a fan since you guys began." Vic gave me a hug and smiled. "I'm glad i got to meet you as well." Time seemed to go in fast forward as it was time for Juliet's set. "Wanna watch it?" I shrugged and stiff behind the crowd, waiting for it to begin.

She was pretty I guess. Beautiful blonde hair and tattoos. She had a raspy, but sweet voice. She started to sing but paused, introducing the crowd to Andy. He came out beside her with a microphone in hand, pecking her on the cheek. They sang the duet and let him have a small solo. I couldn't get our last encounter passed my mind. I completely destroyed him that night, and he found someone else to stitch his wounds. At the end of the song, she ran and jumped into his arms as he embraced her into a kiss. I turned my head and close my eyes.

I sat behind Black Veil Bride's tour bus and waited nervously for CC and the rest to show up. I stood up as I heard CC's voice. "Oh my god, it is you." He came up and automatically gave me a hug. "We've missed you so much." I hugged him back. "By you, do you mean you and Violet?" We walked into the tour bus and i came face to face with my best friend. The one who I had left behind me to get away from my pain.

"S-Star?" She stuttered, staring at me in disbelief. "Oh my gosh." She started crying as she engulfed me in a strangling hug. Her tears turned to sobs as we stood there and held each other. "Violet are you ok-what are you doing here?" Ashley asked, his voice laced with venom. "I, uhm, I'm here with Xander. He works for AP Magazine." He scoffed. "I don't care why you're here. I mean why are you here. In our bus. Making my girlfriend cry?" I looked down ashamed.

"Ash stop, please. I haven't seen her in four years. Be decent." Ashley rolled his eyes and grabbed a beer from the mini fridge. "Better not be here when Andy shows up. He made it clear he never wanted to see your face again." He spat, slamming the door shut and walking out. "How have you been?" I asked Violet, wiping her tears. "I'm okay, I just can't believe you're here. How are you? Who's this?" She asked, referring to Xander who was standing right behind me.

"This is Xander. I met him the day I moved to LA and we've been close ever since. We actually live together in an apartment." She smiled and looked at him. "He's a cute one but wait, why'd you hide from me at the meet and greet?" I sighed and fixed my ponytail. "I don't think I'm ready to see Andrew yet. I-" as soon as I said his name, he walked through the door and plopped on the couch. I stared at him wide eyed. "Oh my god. That set was insane. Did you see-" he stopped when he saw me. We stared at each other until he stood up. "Star?" His voice cracked as he stood frozen. "H-hi Andy."

His gem blue eyes turned into a navy blue and he stormed back into the bunk area, yanking the curtain closed. Violet gave me a sympathetic look. "No, it's fine. Can you blame him? He said he didn't want to see me again." CC came back with three monsters and handed them out to Xander and I. "Sit." Xander sat beside him on the two sofa couch. Xander rolled his eyes playfully and patted his lap. I thanked him silently and sat down. "You sure you two aren't dating?" CC raised his eyebrow at our position while Xander's arm was resting on my lap. "Yeah, I haven't dated since-well you know. But he's like my big brother. Even though he's younger than me." I teased.

"By one year, oh my gosh." CC chuckled softly. "Star, how are you?" He started with, taking a sip of his monster. "I'm okay, you?" He shook his head. "Star I knew you better than everyone before you left. How are you?" I looked down and played with my hands. Xander held them Apart. "I don't know C. I was fine. I was perfect. But..seeing him. It messes with my head. I don't know how I'm suppose to feel. He clearly knows how he feels about me. I don't hate him for yelling at me and telling me to get out of him life." He gave me a hug and stood up to get another monster.

The door opened, showing Juliet in a Misfits shirt and tights. "Hey CC! Violet! Oh, and who's this?" She asked, walking up to us. I stayed put on Xander's lap. "I'm Star." I smiled softly, earning one back from her after shaking her perfectly black manicured hands. "Where's Andy?" She asked CC. "He's in the bunks." She waved and walked to his curtain, pulling it back slightly. "How long have they been together for?" I question quietly, taking out my ponytail and running my fingers through my hair. "About two and a half years."

Xander started to braid my hair, like he always does when he's bored. "I ship them" Violet says out of nowhere. "Who?" I tilt my head, only to be moved back so Xander can finish. "You two. You guys would be cute. See?" She showed me a picture that she had taken of Xander and I with his arms around me and his head on my shoulder. My face turned pink and flipped her off. "We are not dating." She raised her eyebrow but laughed it off. Jake rolled his eyes as he came back from the bunks. "What's wrong?" CC asks. "Andy. I can hear Juliet's moans from my bu-oh my god. Star?" I turned my head slightly at his comment but stayed emotionless.

CC slapped him on the back of the head. "Nice job dickhead." Jake rubbed it with his hand and say beside Xander and I. "What're you doing here?" "I'm with Xander since he works for AP Magazine." I answer simply, sipping from my canned drink. "Has Andy seen you?" I nodded slowly. "Is that why he's so angry?" I nodded again. "How are you?" "I'm okay." He squeezed my shoulder and stepped out to meet with Ella.

Minutes later, Andy came out from his bunk in just his boxers and a pack of cigarettes. I couldn't help but let my eyes wander around his body. He glanced over to Xander, who had yet to let me go from his lap and rolled his eyes. He took a cigarette from the pack and lit it up. CC stood up and took it from his mouth. "No Andy. Jinxx will be mad. Smoke outside." "Make me. I'm allowed to smoke." CC let it out of his reach as he went to grab for it. "You don't need one right now. And if you do, go outside." "Yes I do. I do when I'm stressed. Now give it back." CC shook his head in protest.

I watched Andy's muscles in his back tense as he reaches up. Xander pinched my sides making me yell out. "You dick! You know that tickles." Andy stopped what he was doing and looked over to us making me shrink back under his stare. But Xander still had a smile on his face. Andy looked back at CC. "Now." CC sighed in defeat and gave him back his cigarette. He was about to go to the back before he turned around and faced me with the same pained look from four years ago. He opened his mouth to say something but sighed and closed it and walked behind the curtain.

"I better get going before Ashley gets back. I wouldn't want to upset him." I stood up from Xander's lap and fixed my shirt. "Are you sure?" Jake asked me. "Yeah, I shouldn't be here. You guys are happy, I have Xander. Andy's happy with Juliet. I might see you later, I don't know." I gave them all a big hug and walked out.

"You made the right decision baby girl." Xander preached, holding my hand. I couldn't help but feel proud of myself but hollow inside. "You think so?" "I really do. It shows how much you've grown to depend on yourself." He kissed my forehead and walked with me to the car. I fell asleep on the ride home and felt two strong arms pick me up bridal style. I was set on something soft, assuming it's my bed, I snuggled up to my blankets and fell deep into sleep.
