Blood Secrets: Tales of the Children of the Moon

Chapter Twenty-Nine: New Tattoo's

Chapter Twenty-Nine: New Tattoo's

The next day found Ravyn and Angel doing the same thing they had been doing yesterday; chilling in their bedroom with Sorcha and Katerina, Katerina and Angel playing a video game and Sorcha and Ravyn smoking and drinking. A knock on their apartment door made Ravyn get up out of her bean bag chair and walk down the hall into the living room to answer the door. When she opened it her eyes widened in surprise. "Jarreth!" She squealed jumping on him and hugging him. Jarreth laughed and hugged her back. "Hey Rave, how you doing?" He asked as Ravyn let him into the house. "I've been okay," she said, pulling a Traditional Dry Angry Orchard out of the fridge and tossing it to him. Jarreth saluted her before opening it and taking a drink. "How have you been?" She asked as she grabbed her second Cinnful Cider and popped it open. "I've been alright," Jarreth said sighing. Ravyn waved him back into her and Angel's bedroom. "I sense a 'but' in that statement bro," she giggled. Jarreth nodded and smiled at her "bro" endearment. Ravyn, Sorcha, and Katerina all treated him like an older brother, ever since they had been taken under his wing. And he had tried to be like a brother and parent at the same time for them. He never tried to replace their parents but he did try to be a parental force in their lives since Sorcha had only been eighteen when her mother Selene and Ravyn's father Keith had passed away.

Jarreth plopped himself down in one of the bean bag chairs and took another sip of his drink. Ravyn joined him in the other green bean bag chair. There were four in total, all of them in a tie dye type of pattern, one being green and silver- the one Ravyn sat in- one being blue and bronze, another being yellow and black, and the fourth- the one Jarreth was sitting in- being red and gold. Jarreth had bought both Katerina and Ravyn a set of the four because the two girls had mentioned that they all reminded them of the Harry Potter series and the house's cloures. Green and Silver being Slytherin, Blue and Bronze being Ravenclaw, Yellow and Black being Hufflepuff, and finally the Red and Gold being Gryffindor. Every time Jarreth and come by the apartment he always sat in the Gryffindor bean bag, just to annoy Ravyn who had always said she was a Slytherin at heart and hated Gryffindor with a passion.

Ravyn rolled her eyes as Jarreth smirked at her when he sat down. "So what's this 'but' I heard in your statement?" She asked, taking the fox and wolf intertwining bong that Sorcha passed her. She began to take a hit of the water and ice filled bong as Jarreth answered her. "Well," he said sighing. "I've had to deal with Sandra and all her wedding plans and shit." Ravyn nodded as she released her hit. "She shoving ideas at you and constantly asking your opinion on it all?" Jarreth nodded and Ravyn giggled. "I was doing the same thing with Angel," she said as she held out the bong to Jarreth, asking him if he wanted a hit. Jarreth declined it, planning on being a designated driver for Ravyn and Angel later. "So do you two have any plans for today?" He asked the two of them as Ravyn passed her bong to her sister. Ravyn shook her head. "Nothing besides smoking, drinking and playing games. Why?" She asked. Jarreth smiled.

"Because I wanted to do something for you and Angel. Kat and Sorch too if they want it," he answered, catching both Sorcha and Katerina's attention. They both raised a brow at his statement, as did Ravyn. Angel paused his and Katerina's game so as to hear what Jerreth was planning. Jarreth smiled. "I know your guys wedding is soon," he said as he took another drink. Ravyn and Angel nodded. They planned to get married after they graduated from High School, on October 31st. "So? What does this have to do with OUR wedding?" Ravyn asked, curious. Jarreth smirked then got up from his bean bag chair and walked over to the small bookshelf, pulling out the blue file folder that Ravyn had pulled out yesterday to show Vixen. She had multiple drawings within that folder, some of which she had planned to turn into tattoo's. She raised a brow at Jarreth as he opened the folder and handed it to her. "Pick one you would want most before your wedding. For both you and Angel," he said, looking down at her. Ravyn took the folder and looked at the pictures. Finally she pulled out the two pictures that she had shown Vixen last night. She and Angel had agreed that if they were going to get any tattoo's before they got married it would be those two.

She handed the two pictures to Jarreth who opened them and smiled. "I remember now. You two wanted to get these before your wedding, right?" He asked. Ravyn nodded. Jarreth smiled at her again before he folded them back up, placing them in the folder again. "I know you two both had pictures in here that Ravyn drew for you two, so do you wanna choose any?" He asked Sorcha and Katerina, who both looked up in surprise. They both nodded and took the folder from him and began looking through it. In the end Katerina chose a picture of a wolf portrait with a large full moon that was very detailed in the background and a smaller wolf pup on the left side of the large wolf. Katerina had chosen a picture of a Fox on the right side while a small raven sat on the left. The fox was stepping on the branch which the Raven's nest sat, a small egg sitting inside the nest, and the raven sat on the other side of the branch under some reddish pink vinca flowers and little vinca flower buds. Jarreth smiled at their choices and placed them back in the folder. "Well, lets head to the car," he said before heading out of the room. Angel, Ravyn, Sorcha and Katerina all looked at each other, confused, before they all got up and grabbed her shoes and ran out after Jarreth.

Jarreth met them downstairs in the parking lot of the apartment complex, his black mustang pulled up next to Ravyn's pick up truck. He looked at Angel. "You sober enough to drive?" He asked him. Angel nodded. He'd smoked a bit earlier today but it had left his system for the most part by now. Jarreth nodded back and got in his car. He popped his head out of the door and looked at Sorcha and Katerina. "Kat, Sorch, you can ride with me. Angel, Ravyn, you follow in the truck. I got somewhere to take you all." Angel and Ravyn nodded and got in her truck while Katerina and Sorcha got in Jarreth's mustang. Jarreth peeled out of the parking lot and waited at the entrance for Angel and Ravyn's pick up truck.

Jarreth pulled up in front of The Wolf's Den Tattoo parlor and got out of the car, Katerina and Sorcha following. Angel pulled up in the pick up truck a moment later and both he and Ravyn got out and looked at the tattoo shop. She looked at Jarreth questioningly. "You planning on getting us tattoo's?" She asked. Jarreth nodded. "By the best tattoo artist that I know," he replied before he waved them inside. Ravyn, her sister's and Angel followed behind.

Vixen looked up as she heard the bell above her tattoo shop's door jingle. She was sitting at the front desk with Kitty, talking about the night before. She smiled when she saw Jarreth. "Hey Jerr, long time no see hun!" She said, coming around the desk and hugging Jarreth. Jarreth hugged her back, smiling. "Hey girlie, its good to see you again," he said. Vixen smiled and looked at him. "Planning on getting some new ink today?" She asked. Jarreth shook his head and moved to the side and jerked his thumb at the group behind him. Vixen's eyes widened when she saw Ravyn, Angel and Ravyn's sisters. "Ravyn!" She squealed running up to the black haired girl and hugging her tightly. Ravyn squealed as well and hugged the girl back. Jarreth looked at the two girls confused, and his gaze turned even more confused when Kitty squealed and ran around the desk and launched herself at Katerina. "you two know each other?" He asked Ravyn, who nodded as Vixen and Kitty introduced themselves to Sorcha. "Yeah we hung out last night and they left earlier this morning," Ravyn said smiling. Jarreth raised a brow. "When did you all meet?" He asked. Vixen and Ravyn giggled. "The other night when you had us go hunting," Ravyn answered as Vixen led them over to the couches and had them sit down. "So you guys are getting tattoo's today?" Kitty asked as she leaned up against the desk. They all looked at Jarreth, who nodded. "I'm paying for it all. Doesn't matter about price y the way, before you ask." Vixen nodded and then looked at the group. "So, you all know what you want?" She asked. All four of them nodded and Ravyn produced her blue file folder and opened it, pulling out the four pictures that they had all chosen. Vixen recognized the first two being the one's Ravyn had shown her last night. She smiled as she saw the other two. "Who wanted the fox and Raven?" She asked. Katerina raised her hand. "So you wanted the wolf?" She asked Sorcha who nodded. "I chose that one because of my step-dad and my daughter, who I lost just recently. I wanted to put a ribbon at the top and another at the bottom, kind of like a border, and have my Step-dad's name and birth and death dates, and my daughter's on the bottom," she explained, pointing to the top and bottom areas of the picture as she did. Vixen nodded and Kitty handed her a notepad and pen. "What were their names?" She asked. "Keith Garrison and Isabella Rose Hopf, although I just want Izzy's name to say Isabella Rose," Vixen nodded and wrote the names down. "Birth and Death dates?" she asked.

"My Dad's birthday was January 17th, 1967," Ravyn said, leaning forward to see what Vixen was writing. Vixen nodded and then looked up. "Isabella's?" She asked. Sorcha sighed. "Isabella's birthday is August 18th, 2009," she said sadly, remembering the day she lost her little girl. "Death dates?" Both Ravyn and Sorcha grew silent, making Vixen look up again. "I'm sorry guys," she whispered. "I know it's hard. My Dad passed away before I even knew him. My mother too." Sorcha and Ravyn nodded, wiping tears away from their cheeks. "My Dad died in December of 2008, uh, on the 18th," Ravyn sniffled. Vixen nodded and wrote it down. "Isabella?" She asked Sorcha who sniffled as well. "Uh, she died on September 14th, 2009," Vixen's eyes widened as she did the math. "She was only a month old?" She whispered. Sorcha, Katerina, and Ravyn all nodded, all three of them looking saddened. Vixen's eyes turned sad. "How did she die, if you don't mind me asking?" Ravyn shook her head and sniffled again, her eyes turning dark with rage. "Her father. He was a meth addict and one night when he was alone with Bella, he did something, I don't know what, but she had a broken arm, broken leg, internal injuries, and a cracked skull," Vixen's eyes widened. "Jesus Christ," she whispered, rage filling her as well. She knew what it was like to lose a child. "I can't say I know the feeling completely, but I do know what it feels like to lose a daughter. I was pregnant at only sixteen and I lost my daughter at four months. I lost my son when I was seventeen when I was seven almost eight months pregnant," she whispered. Ravyn and Sorcha looked at her suprized. "I'm so sorry," they both said at the same time. Vixen shrugged. "I always feel them with me so it's not too bad. I mean its bad, but it's not that bad anymore." Sorcha and Ravyn nodded. Vixen looked up at Jarreth. "Whose going to sign a consent form for Kat?" She asked looking back and forth between Jarreth and Sorcha, knowing that they were old enough to sign the consent form for a person who was under eighteen and wanting to get a tattoo. It was normal for her to ask a parent or guardian to sign the form all because it was the law. She'd done it about three times now, including Katerina's.

Jarreth raised his hand. "I'm technically all their legal guardian so I'll sign it," he said smiling. Vixen nodded and Kitty went to get the consent form from the desk. "Alright, I'll draw these up for you-" Ravyn stopped her and pulled out four sheets of tracing paper, handing them to her. "Already done," she said, grinning. "All you have to do is trace them in pen." Vixen raised a brow at her, but took the papers and looked at them. She nodded after a moment. "Ashley!" She yelled down the hall. Suddenly a man with multiple tattoo's, long dark brown hair and beautiful brown eyes came down the hall and stood next to Kitty, kissing her temple and wrapping his arm around her. "What's up Vix?" He asked. Vixen held out two of the sheets of tracing paper. "Can you outline these two in pen for me?" She asked. Ashley nodded and took the two drawings. "This doesn't look like your artistry V?" Ashley said, more questioningly than not. Ravyn piped up then. "I did. Their my drawings," Ashley looked up from the drawings and looked at Ravyn. "They're beautiful. Very detailed," he complimented. Ravyn beamed. "I'm Ravyn by the way. Ravyn Garrison," she said holding out her hand. Ashley nodded and shook her hand. "I'm guessing I don't need to introduce myself?" He asked, giving her a cheeky grin. Ravyn shook her head. "Nope! Your Ashley Purdy, Bassist for Black Veil Brides and my guess is a tattoo artist for Vixen here?" Ashley nodded and smiled, shaking hands with Angel, Katerina, and Sorcha when they introduced themselves. "It's nice to meet you all, Kitty's told me a lot about you all," he said, looking over at Kitty who smirked. Katerina looked at her quizzically before her eyes widened. "THIS is your Ashley??" She squealed. "Yep," Kitty said, crossing her arms over her chest and her smirk widening. Katerina's eyes bugged out of her head. "You lucky bitch!" Katerina yelled, getting up and playfully punching Kitty in the arm. Kitty grinned. "Why didn't you tell me?" The young girl asked. Kitty chuckled. "It wasn't all by choice I may say. Yes I liked Ashley, but I was too afraid to say so for a long while there. It was Vixen and Andy who told us that we were mates," Katerina smiled. "Lucky." She said again, making everyone roll their eyes.

After the inroductions were made and the tattoo's hashed out, Vixen and Ashley got down to work on the traced pictures, tracing them in ink so it would be easier to place on the canvases. Ashley looked up after a bit, while he traced out Katerina's tattoo. "Hey Kat, how did you want this tattoo?" He asked Katerina, who walked into Ashley's station and looked down at the picture. "I wanted to get it on the inside of both of my arms, so like, when I put them together, it will make one solid picture and stuff," she said, holding out her arms to show him. Ashley nodded and placed the photo picture over both her arms and outlined her arms and drew a line down the back of the tracing paper to know where her arms converged. "Alright, now that I got all that mapped out, it shouldn't be too much longer, then Vix can tattoo ya," he said. Katerina looked slightly saddened at that. "I was wondering if you might be able to tattoo me?" She asked. Ashley chuckled but nodded. "Sure thing sweetie," he said than hugged her. Katerina beamed as he hugged her then skipped out of the room to see what Vixen was doing. She saw her sister Ravyn looking at all the tattoo machinery, her face slightly green. She knew her sister could endure a lot of pain, she had heard so and seen so by the way her and Angel acted with each other. She walked over to Vixen and leaned down to whisper to her. "Hey V, Ravyn's looking a little sick there, mind if I take her outside for a cig?" Vixen looked up and saw the way Ravyn was looking. It didn't take her long to figure out why. She knew that look. Her eyes widened as she realized why she looked like that. "You may just want to talk to her, not smoke a cigarette with her. I think she has something she needs to talk to you about. Go ahead and take her upstairs. You guys can raid the fridge if you want." Katerina looked at her curiously but nodded. Ravyn and Katerina left the room and Vixen returned to her work on Angel's tattoo, having already finished Ravyn's.

Ravyn sighed as she sat down at the small kitchen table and sipped at a bottle of water that Katerina brought her from the fridge. "So what's on your mind sis?" Katerina asked as she sat down next to her sister. Ravyn sighed and laid her head down on the table. "You remember when I went into the bathroom?" She asked. Her little sister nodded. "I went in there to take a test. A special kind of test," she whispered. Katerina's eyes widened as she realized what kind of "test" her sister was talking about. "What did it say??" She whispered. Ravyn sighed again. "Positive," was all she had to say. Katerina wanted to squeal and cry all at the same time. Her sister was pregnant. Pregnant at only seventeen years old. She would have to walk around school soon with a distended belly, trying to hide her pregnancy for as long as she could. And they still had about four or five months of school left. By the time Ravyn graduated, she would be about four or five months pregnant and it would be showing, or starting to at least. This also meant that Ravyn would have to be more careful when she was Hunting. Anything could harm the kid growing within her sister. And that was only if Angel let her Hunt in the first place. "Should I be happy or afraid?" Katerina asked, taking her sister's hand. Before Ravyn could answer though, Angel walked into the room. "You okay Babygirl?" He asked, coming to sit beside her in the other chair. Before Ravyn could stop him, knowing that if he did he'd be able to see what she was hiding, Angel took her hand in his.

Angel didn't move but kept his composure as he saw what Ravyn and Katerina were talking about. He looked at Ravyn. "Were you going to tell me about this?" He whispered. Ravyn glared at him. "Of course I was! I just found out about it Angel! I was trying to figure out HOW to tell you!" She whisper yelled. Angel looked at her and Ravyn couldn't tell if he was happy or mad at this news. "I can't tell what your thinking right now and I don't know if I should be happy or scared shitless, and right now I'm kind of scared shitless." Angel squeezed her hand comfortingly. "It's okay babygirl, and I am happy about this. You should know that. I've always wanted to have children with you, again, you should know this," he whispered, leaning forward to kiss her temple. Tears slipped down from Ravyn's eyes and trailed down her cheeks as he said this. "So does that mean we're keeping it?" She asked. Angel nodded. "Unless the baby risks your life then yes. But if the doc says your at risk at any time during the pregnancy-"

"We terminate and try again later?" Ravyn asked cutting him off. Angel nodded again. "We terminate and try again later," he said, reiterating her words. Ravyn nodded then smiled. "Wait, does this mean I can't get my tattoo?" She asked, a little scared now. Angel shrugged. "If Vixen finds that it won't risk the baby and she's willing to still do it I say go for it," he said, bringing her hand up to his lips and kissing her knuckles. He playfully bit her hand and chuckled when she gasped in pleasure. "Come on babygirl, Vixen should be done with yours by now." Ravyn nodded then got up and followed Angel back down stairs, Katerina following behind.

Vixen looked up when she heard Angel and Ravyn come back into the room. "Get it all sorted out Rave?" She asked, looking up at the girl. Ravyn and Angel nodded and sat back down. "And before you ask, yes I'll still tattoo you, even in your condition," she added. She tapped her temple. "Telepath. That and I know that look. I had it myself both times I found out about my own." Ravyn smiled and nodded as Ashley and Kitty came into the room. "What condition?" Kitty asked, as she leaned up against Ashley. Ravyn looked at Angel who smiled and nodded. "Well, I just found out that..." she paused for dramatic effect. "I'm pregnant!"

There was silence for about thirty seconds before everyone yelled and cheered. "Oh my God! I'm gonna be an Aunt!" Sorcha yelled, getting up from her seat and hugging her sister. Everyone congratulated the two of them before Vixen said, "Alright, alright. Let's get these tattoo's underway!" Everyone nodded and Ashley handed her Sorcha's traced tattoo. Vixen thanked him and had Sorcha sit in the chair, having her place her arm up on the armrest and placed the traced tattoo on her upper arm. Katerina went into the other room with Ashley and sat in her chair, placing her arms on the armrests and making the insides of her arms face up. Ashley prepped her arms and placed the first half of the tattoo on her right arm, then wheeled his chair over to her other side and did the same with her left.

The sound of tattoo machines were all that was heard for the longest time. After a couple hours the noise stopped in both rooms and both Ashley and Vixen wiped down their clients arms, gettin rid of any excess ink. "You okay there Kat?" Ashley asked, looking up at the young teen. Katerina smiled and nodded. Ashley smiled back. "Alright then girlie, your all done. Wanna look at it in the mirror?" Katerina nodded and jumped out of the chair to stand in front of a full length mirror. She put both of her arms together, looking at the picture that they made. Tears streamed down her face as she looked at the beautiful artwork that Ashley had done. She knew her sister was doing the same in the other room, especially when Ashley had given her a bit of a break to stretch her legs and she had gone in and checked on Sorcha.

"It's beautiful," she said sniffling. She turned to Ashley. "Can I hug you, with my arms like this?" She asked, bouncing up and down on her tip toes. Ashley grinned. "Of course, come here girlie," he said smiling and pulling her into a hug. Katerina squealed and hugged him tightly. "Thank you, thank you, Thank you!" She cried, bouncing while she hugged him. Ashley laughed and hugged her tightly. "No problem honey. Now, let me wrap this up then we can go see your sisters," Katerina nodded and let Ashley wrap her arms up in cellophane and hand her a small jar of cream for her tattoos.

When Katerina and Ashley came into Vixen's room they saw Ravyn leaning up against her chair, her back completely exposed and her bra unclipped. Vixen prepped Ravyn's back and setting up her machines. Angel sat in front of the tattooing chair and held his fiancee's hands. "You ready for this?" He asked her. Ravyn nodded before taking her hands back and using them to tie up her black hair. Vixen smiled at her. "Thanks," she said before she started her machine to make sure it was working. She grabbed up the traced picture and laid the bottom half on Ravyn's lower back and used her palm to place the rest of the picture perfectly on Ravyn's full back. Ravyn took a deep breath as Vixen pulled the tracing paper away, the picture on the tracing paper perfectly mirrored on her back. She started up her machine and looked over at Ravyn and Angel. "You ready Rave?" She asked. Ravyn took another deep breath and squeezed Angel's hands, who squeezed right back. "I'm ready," she said after a moment. Vixen nodded and dipped her tattoo needle in the black ink. She hovered her needle just about Ravyn's lower back. "I'm about to start, okay?" She asked. She normally would just start, but with Ravyn's condition, she had to be careful. She knew from experience that any type of stress could cause a misscariage. "Go ahead," Ravyn said and then closed her eyes.

At first, Ravyn didn't really feel any sharp pain as Vixen worked on her back. It was only when Vixen ran her needle over her spine that she flinched. Vixen pulled her needle away. "You okay honey? Do you need me to stop?" She asked. Ravyn shook her head. "I'm okay. I just wasn't expecting that type of pain. Go ahead," she said, squeezing Angel's hands again. Angel squeezed back and started whispering words of comfort to her. "Go to your happy place babygirl. Think of something happy, not of the pain." Ravyn nodded and took a deep breath when she felt the pain of the needle on her spine again.

"I think what I'm going to do," Vixen said after she was half way done with the outline of Ravyn's tattoo. "Is I'm going to do the outline for both of your tattoo's and then work on the shading a few days later, this way your outline has time to heal a bit before I begin working on you again. We can work on it again like, next Saturday or Sunday. You guys okay with that?" She asked, looking up at Angel. Angel and Ravyn nodded and Vixen got back to work.

About three quarters of the way through Ravyn's outline, Vixen shut off her machine and placed it on the table. "Alright, I'm gonna let you get up and stretch for a bit," she said, getting up herself. Ravyn groaned and got up, stretching her back out. "Damn I wish I could have a cigarette or something else right now," she sighed, shaking out her legs. Kitty perked up at this. "Actually you can." Ravyn and the other's all looked at her confused. "What do you mean sis?" Vixen asked, grabbing her cigarettes out from her back pocket. "Well, I found out something from Mom when she told me about the whole bird's and the bee's shit," Kitty explained. Vixen raised a brow. "So?" She said, drawing the word out. Kitty rolled her eyes.

"So," she said, also drawing the word out. "Mom told me that a wolf, like Ravyn, and a Vampire, also like Ravyn, and even a Shape-Shifter- again, like Ravyn- when either is pregnant, that their bodies create a barrier around the child which will prevent anything bad from happening to the child while the wolf or vampire is pregnant. That means that Ravyn could drink, smoke, hell she could even eat fish-" Ravyn giggled at that. Kitty didn't know it, but fish was one of her favourite foods, and she had been pissed that she thought she wouldn't be able to have it while she was pregnant because it was said that fish was bad for a growing baby or something like that. "She could do or have any of those things and it wouldn't harm the baby. And before you ask," Kitty added, holding up her hand to stop Vixen, who had opened her mouth to ask something. "Yes I know from experience. Not PERSONAL experience, but Mom knew a lot of women who were pregnant when I was young. So I asked them about it and they even showed me books that the council had made that told me all the things you could and couldn't do. And the only really big thing that you can't do is really stress yourself out while your pregnant. Miscarriage is the only real thing that you have to worry about. Even then the barrier protects the child mostly from that. It's more or less as you get farther into your pregnancy, around seven or eight months."

Ravyn looked at Kitty, astonished. "So I can-"

"Yes."

"And I can-"

"Yep."

Even-"

"YES!!" Kitty yelled, giggling. Ravyn beamed with happiness. "Yes!" Ravyn yelled, pumping her fist in the air. Everyone chuckled as Ravyn rehooked her bra which, the strap going down just below the bit of the outline of the tattoo that hadn't been tattooed. She pulled off her shirt and walked down the hall in just her bikini style bra. Everyone followed behind her.

Everyone sat outside in the small backyard that came with the house that Vixen had made into her tattoo shop. Vixen lit up a cigarette, as did Angel. Ravyn pulled out her cigarette case and opened it, pulling out a joint. "I know your not technically supposed to smoke these before and during a tattoo but do you mind?" She asked Vixen, who nodded. "Go ahead, light up girl. You and the baby are safe so I'm down for it," she said smiling. Ravyn beamed and then lit her joint, passing it back and forth between her sisters. After about twenty minutes Ravyn felt well enough to go back into the shop and finish her tattoo. It didn't take long after that, and to be honest, even when Vixen hit spots on her spine, Ravyn didn't really feel it like she had. It was a good feeling, more like a small pinprick than an actual needle piercing into her spine.

"Alright, I'm done with you for now," Vixen said after about another hour. Ravyn released a deep breath and smiled. She got up from her chair and went over to the full length mirror to see the artwork. She smiled widely as she looked at the work. "That is the most awesome outline for a tattoo that I have ever seen!" She exclaimed, making Vixen smile. "glad you like it." She placed a long sheet of cellophane over the tattoo and handed her a jar of cream for the tattoo then turned to Angel. "Your turn." Angel nodded and took off his shirt, taking Ravyn's place in the chair. Vixen prepped his back and placed the tracing paper on his back and doing exactly what she had done with Ravyn's. She picked up her new needle and dipped it in the ink and hovered over Angel's back. "You ready Angel?" She asked. Angel just nodded, taking Ravyn's hand as she sat in the chair he once occupied. Vixen touched the needle to his back and started working.

About half way through the tattoo Vixen let Angel take a break and they went out for another cigarette, this time Angel lighting a joint and passing it between Ravyn and her sisters. After they were done they headed back inside and Vixen returned to her work on Angel's back.

It was well past closing time when Vixen finished Angel's tattoo. She cleaned up her station and packed away all of her things and closed up shop. Angel and Ravyn smiled and thanked her and Jarreth before asking if they wanted to spend the night again, seeing as Sorcha had to work the night shift over where she worked. Vixen thought about it for a moment and then called Andy to let her know where to meet up with him. Andy was all for another night of relaxation and agreed to meet them at Ravyn and Angel's apartment. Vixen smiled and told them the news. Ravyn and Angel smiled and headed for the pick up truck while Vixen, Kitty and Ashley took her jeep and Jarreth took Katerina and Sorcha home.

Notes

Author's Note:

Before you all ask, yes the Isabella Rose story was true. My niece was killed by her father when she was only a month old. She lasted three days in the hospital with all her injuries, before she finally passed on September 14th, 2009. I never even got to meet her...

Anyways, I'm gonna start work on Chapter Thirty soon. Right now I'm going to go out and have a cigarette of my own because I've been sitting on the couch here at home, writing my little dark heart out all day long with only one break when my Momma and I ended up going out and running some errands lol.

Until next time guys! See you on the Other side and Blessed Be!
