Chapter Twelve: Welcome to the Team Little Sister

~*~Later That Night~*~*

Vixen, Andy, Kitty, and Ashley walked up to the garage door of Faith and Vixen's home after their day at the shop. Ashley had driven her jeep for her seeing as Vixen was an emotional wreck and Kitty was staying with her sister, too pissed at their brother to be near him. Ashley had come along as a body guard for his packs alpha...or at least that’s the "official" story. Unofficially? He was there for Kitty.

He didn’t know what it was about the girl but something attracted him to her like a moth to a flame. Don’t get him wrong he had no plans of sleeping with her or anything of the sort, Kitty was sixteen after all and Ashley didn’t feel like going to jail for statutory rape, but he felt there was something between them and if he had to, he'd wait till she was of age to find out what it was.

As for Andy, he was back again because he couldn’t stay away. He felt the need to be near Vixen, especially now. She was vulnerable and Andy knew that if Faith and her went Hunting tonight, she'd need the back up. So he was here.

Ashley paused as he saw Andy shift to his wolf form. He raised a brow at him. "Hey if Faith's gonna shoot me I'm going out in my natural form man," Andy defended. Vixen and Kitty giggled, hearing this. Vixen shook her head and scratched behind Andy's ears like Taylor had done earlier today. "Don't worry baby, she won’t get a swing at you before I put a bullet in her," Kitty and Ashley's eyes widened a this but Vixen just shrugged and Andy snickered.

They walked into the house and as they did Ashley himself shifted, taking point in front of Kitty, while Andy took his position in the front line, Vixen on his heels. He felt Kitty thread her fingers in the scruff of his fur and he mentally shivered at the feeling. He'd never had another human being touch him in this form, not even his family. They had never known. Kitty was the first human to touch him like this and now...now Ashley could understand Andy's actions with Vixen earlier in the shop when he was a wolf. The feeling was intense.

"If you want I'll give you a belly rub after everything is settled down," Kitty's voice whispered though his mind and he shuddered. "Sweetheart I don’t think that’s a good Idea right now," he whispered back, his voice cracking. Andy barked ahead of them and Ashley looked up to see him and Vixen staring at him and Kitty, amused.

"Not so easy is it Purdy," Vixen said aloud. Ashley shook his fur out, a signal of him saying "no". "Keep your paws to yourself Ashley. She's sixteen. I'll rip your throat out if you take her innocence. Pack member or not," Andy warned, his alpha seeping into his voice. Ashley gulped, nodding before Vixen flicked his ear with her fingers.

"Ow! What the fuck?" Andy growled looking up at Vixen who just smirked before looking at Ashley. "As long as there's no sex you can be with my sister. And don’t worry about my brother. I'll deal with him," Vixen said smiling. Kitty grinned but Ashley opened his mouth to say something- mentally- but Vixen shook her head. "Don’t worry about wolf boy here," she jerked her thumb at Andy who growled. Vixen smirked at him before smiling warmly at Ashley.

"I can tell a mate attraction when I see one Ashley. Kitty is yours. And I'm giving you my permission as the Matriarch- sort of- of the Sola Wolf Pack- what’s left of us- to be with my baby sister and one day, when she's of age, give her your mark and make her yours."

Ashley's jaw hit the floor. How did she-

"I read." Vixen said cutting off his thoughts. With that she turned to Andy and grinned. "Matriarch beats Alpha baby. Sorry. Also my own alpha was there so, yeah, double dose," she kneelt down to Andy's height and whispered in his ear even though she knew the others could hear. "I win."

Andy glared at Vixen before sighing and nodding. He looked at Ashley. "Alright. Vixen's got me by the balls on this one," Vixen and Kitty giggled and Andy rolled his eyes. "You can be with Kitty but under no circumstances is there going to be ANY SEX! I even catch a whiff of her scent on you like that, any time before her eighteenth birthday Ashley Purdy-"

"We'll rip your throat out," Vixen finished. Ashley flinched at the double alpha tone that came from the two of them. If Ashley didn’t know any better he'd have said Andy and Vixen were mates, just like him and Kitty. Especially with their creepy unison Alpha thing.
Andy and Vixen looked at one another as they heard Ashley's thoughts before shaking their heads. No way. Andy was an Alpha wolf and Vixen a Hunter. There was no way in HELL whatever higher power was up there would put a Hunter and a werewolf as mates. Just no way.

The two shook away the thoughts and lead their group to the basement where Vixen unlocked the door and walked downstairs. As soon as she flicked on the light switch "We Stitch These Wounds" began to play. Andy smiled mentally at Vixen who smiled back, shrugging off her trench coat and laying it on the staircase banister. She went to a door that Andy KNEW hadn’t been next to Vixen's bedroom door last night and unlocked it with a key she produced from her pocket.

"This room was magically created the moment we stepped in here. This room is now yours Kitty. And yours Ashley, when your over," Vixen explained, opening the door and walking inside. Andy followed and caught sight of the sane rune etchings in Kitty's door that was in Vixen's door. Maybe that's how her room became what it was today?

"It was," Vixen said answering Andy's question that they'd all heard. "This whole basement is saturated in magic. Everything in here was magically created, except for the weapons, those I either created myself or bought and then saturated in protection spells," she added. Kitty's eyes were wide in amazement. "How did you learn to control your powers?" she asked. Vixen smiled.

"The only vampire who never truly wanted to eat me," she whispered, not looking at any of them. An image of the half black half red haired vampire Andy had seen the night before in Vixen's nightmare-memory popped up at Vixen's words and he felt a rush of gratitude towards the mystery vampire.

Vixen suddenly stiffened and walked back out of the room, going straight for the metal cabinet and the colt. "Any of you ever shot a gun or thrown a knife?" she asked mentally. Andy raised his hand and Ashley stared at him. "What? I have a .45 long barrel colt just like hers in my suitcase at the hotel. It was my dad's. I don’t leave home without it." Ashley's eyes widened before he shook his head. "I'm good with a shotgun," he answered. Vixen nodded and tossed the colt to Andy who caught it easily surprised. She grabbed a double barrel shotgun and tossed it at Ashley before looking at Kitty. "I've only played around with a couple swords Devin had when we were kids I'm no good at this stuff!" she said, her eyes wide and afraid. Vixen smirked before pulling two swords out of their sheaths and tossing one at Kitty who caught it, spinning with the weight to keep her balance and then catching the other Vixen threw without her knowledge effortlessly.

Vixen grinned before grabbing a sword of her own. "Welcome to the team little sister," she whispered before running up the stairs.

Okay I know it seems short but it seemed like a good place to stop and hey Kitty's a damn natural! And whose this vamp chick who taught Vixen? Anyone wanna guess? She's famous! Lol another chapter up soon! I got two more weeks to work on this stuff before my beloved Dark Angel (my boyfriend Jon) gets to come back down here and pick me up and whisk me away to his place for the weekend where it will be nothing but netflix and cuddling! Haha
