Falling

As we sat down and buckled up, I caught Andy's gaze. "You look amazing today, Blaise..."he said, looking at me with his mysterious blue eyes.
"Thank you Andy, umm, about last night..........?" I asked wearily.
"Ugh...." he said, clearing his throat. "Listen, Blaise, I really like you, and I don't know much about you, but there's something............different about you? I feel like we've known each other for years, and, I swear I've seen you before somewhere.....?" He said, frowning. His blue gems concentrated on some faraway land deep inside his thoughts. It wasn't fair. I wanted to snatch the blue from his eyes and paint it across the sky, to cover my body with that brilliant blue, for it to devour me. But I couldn't.

Suddenly his eyes snapped towards me, focusing on my pale bluey-grey ones. Just as soon as he was about to say something, Jinxx snapped him out of it by saying that we were there and that the band had to go backstage and rehearse before they went on stage.

Andy's gaze shifted and he got up to join the others, frowning again.

I got out of the bus to see the sun blazing down, people drifting around lazily, festival bands looped gracefully round their wrists. As people arranged themselves around the stage, I couldn't help noticing the way Andy looked at me...

The stage went black, smoke erupting out of the big black machines at either end of the stage. Then they emerged. Soon the concert was in full swing, the intro of Rebel Love Song starting up and Andy singing his heart out.

After the concert, CC met me near the entrance to backstage. He led me towards their dressing room where I saw the rest of the guys. "OH MY GOD! You guys were amazing out there!" I said, hugging each one of them, congratulating them on their outstanding performance.

"Thanks Blaise, so should we head back to the bus?" Jake suggested.

We made our way back to bus, and after a creepy movie about zombies, which I hid behind a pillow for almost the whole thing, we all went to bed. That night I went to sleep with a smile on my face.
