Falling

I guessed I had fallen asleep again because I woke up to find myself back in my bunk. I rolled over and looked at the clock, 10:32, it read. I got out of bed, pulling on an oversized black BVB t-shirt on over my vest top and shorts and walked lazily down the steps into the small kitchen.

"M-morning," I yawned sleepily, as I started making some toast and grabbing an orange juice from the fridge. As I slumped down onto the couch next to Jinxx, I asked what we were doing today.

"Oh shit! We forgot to tell you!" Jinxx said, slapping his hand to his forehead. I look around at the others with a puzzled expression on my face.

"Tell me what?" I said, before taking a large swig of orang juice.

"You're coming to our concert, duh! Go get ready, and be down in about half an hour!" Jake explained. I almost choked on my juice when he said this.

"Me? Come with you guys?" I said, hardly daring to believe it.

"Of course, I mean, you're like one of our biggest fans and I doubt that you want to stay here all alone , do you?" CC replied. "Go on, get ready, we'll meet you down here in 30 mins." he said smiling.

I squealed non stop as I rushed up the stairs, hearing the guys chuckle at my excitement.

After locking the bathroom door behind me, I steeped into the shower letting the warm water cascade over my body. I washed my hair humming along to Rebel Love Song as the music blasted out of my phone. Ten minutes later, I got out.

I dried, straightened and fluffed up my hair arranged it over one shoulder, tying it loosely, before browsing through my clothes.

What to wear? What to wear? I thought to myself as I scanned my clothes. I finally settled on ripped black tights, a red, chequered, tartan miniskirt embellished with skulls, a black BVB crop top that lay just above my belly button, studded platform sneakers and matching skull hairgrips as I arranged my hair to look tousled and ragged.

I surveyed my outfit in the long mirror hanging in the bathroom and started on my makeup. First the eyes: I painted two black triangles under my eyes and then applied a thick line of eyeliner, mascara, black glittery eye shadow and put on some clear lip gloss before standing back and admiring my handiwork. I scanned my face. Scary. But perfect. Soon I heard the shouts of CC from downstairs.

"Blaise, you do realise we plan on leaving today?" he said jokingly.

I walked shyly down the steps and into the living room. "Jeez, why do girls take so long getting ready?" said Andy, then they all turned around to face me...

"Well.......how do I look?" I asked

"Holy shit! you look amazing!" Andy exclaimed
"Yeah, totally rocking the look Blaise!" Ashley said
"Love the make-up!" exclaimed CC
"Wow. Just wow!" Jake said
"Copy cat!" Jinxx exclaimed as he took in my eye make-up. "Nahh, just kidding, you look amazing Blaise. Ready to go??" he continued.

"Aww thank you guys! Lets go!" As we took our seats and buckled up, I caught Andy's eyes. "Hey, you look amazing today," he said softly.
"Hehe, thanks. So about last night.......?" I asked nervously.
