One Of The Guys

When I woke up the next morning, I sleepily reached across the bunk to find Andy, but he wasn't there. I opened my eyes to find I was alone.
Strange. I didn't feel him leave.
I checked my phone for the time; 11:25am. I wondered where he possibly could be. Although it was kind of late, maybe he was just getting breakfast or something. I pulled one of his shirts over my messy bed-head hair. I didn't bother with pants anymore. The guys were used to seeing me walking around the bus. I exited the sleeping quarters and walked into the kitchen/living room area of the bus.
Sat around the table were Jake, Ashley and, CC. No Andy in sight.
"Good morning" Ashely said cheerfully.
"Good morning, hey, where's Andy?" I asked.
Just as the words left my mouth the door of our tour bus opened. I expected it to be Andy, but instead we were greeted by a complete stranger. A girl, with long silky blonde hair and green eyes, wearing fashionable clothing and heels.
"Where's Andy, I need to speak with him" she said, without even a hello to any of us.
I was so confused. Who was this girl that just barged in? Why did she want to speak with Andy? Actually, where was Andy?
"Who the fuck are you?" I asked.
"I'm his girlfriend. Who the fuck are you?" she replied.
His girlfriend?! Andy has a girlfriend?
"I'm his.." I started but didn't exactly know how to finish the sentence.
"I'm.. I'm, in the band" I concluded.
"Okay, well if any of you see him tell him to call me. I'm Lacey by the way"
Ashley, Jake, CC and, I all looked at each other in bewilderment. What was going on?
"Uhm, sure thing" said Jake.
The girl, Lacey, left without another word, slamming the door behind her.
"What the fuck?" exclaimed Ashley.
I couldn't comprehend what had just happened. Andy had a girlfriend? Since when? For christ sake I just fucked him last night! Didn't CC say he hadn't been with any other girl? Was he lying?
"CC, I thought you said.."
"This is news to me too [Name]. I genuinely thought you were the only girl he's been with this past year!"
I could see from the look in CC's warm brown eyes that he was telling the truth. I sighed and sat down at the table beside him. Honestly, I don't know why I didn't expect this from Andy. Him being nice to me was too good to be true. I should have seen something like this coming.
"I don't know what to say [Name]" said Ashley.
"You don't need to say anything, Ash. I should have expected this sooner. I was stupid to think Andy had changed. Anyways, I'm done with him now"
"I know something that'll cheer you up!" said CC. I turned to face him. He looked all excited. I think he was happy to have his friend back. I was so happy that we sorted things out.
"The guys from Jackass are shooting a new movie in town over the next couple of days. Seeing as there are no shows for us to play for a few days, they've invited us to come down and hang out on set!"
This brightened my mood straight away. Jackass is in town?! That was one of my favourite TV shows when I was a teenager. I couldn't believe they had actually invited us to come watch them film their new movie! Andy was quickly forgotten about, I could worry about him when I seen him. The guys and I finished breakfast and headed down to the film set as soon as we could.

They were filming in a warehouse about a 15 minute drive from our current Warped Tour location. As we walked up to the entrance, there was someone there waiting for us. He wore blue denim jeans, a baseball tee and, bright red high top converse. He had dark brown, practically black hair and he wore a pair of Ray-Ban sunglasses. He opened his arms as we approached.
"Hey guys! So glad you could make it"
That voice. OhMyGod. I know that voice. That's Johnny Knoxville's voice! That's Johnny Knoxville! I'm about to meet Johnny Knoxville!
I had no idea why I was fan-girling so hard. I was a huge fan of the show but actually seeing him in person made me so excited! It felt like the first time I met the guys when I auditioned for the band. As we finally reached him, I got butterflies in my stomach and I couldn't wipe the smile from my face. Knoxville shook Ashley, Jake and CC's hand, then came me.
"You must be [Name]" he said with a big smile, showing his perfectly straight, white teeth as he shook my hand. "I've heard great things about you" his brown eyes lingered on mine.
"Pleased to meet you" was all my fan-girling brain could come up with. My hand still in Knoxville's, it felt like the handshake went on forever.
He softly smiled at me again, before finally releasing my hand.
"Well, come on, come inside. I can't wait to show you what we've been working on!"
He gestured towards the entrance. The guys almost ran in, excited to watch the guys from Jackass doing stunts.
"After you darling" said Knoxville, in his Tennessee accent, with his arm outstretched. I wasn't sure why, but it gave me butterflies again. I went inside and he followed, closing the door behind us.

The next few hours were so much fun. Jake, Ashley, CC and, I got to meet all the guys from the Jackass gang, hang out with them and watch them film stunts. If the cameras weren't rolling, we were chatting away to them like we'd known them for years.
Shortly after lunch I was watching Stevo film a stunt where he had to walk across a 5ft beam, while the others shot him with paintball guns. They were just setting up when I heard a voice behind me.
"What do you think?" it asked.
I turned around to find Knoxville behind me. At a closer look, he was quite handsome, although his age was starting to show. His once black hair was now sprinkled with grey on his sideburns. Small laughter lines formed around his eyes. Aside from that, for forty years old, he was looking great.
He stood beside me as we both watched Stevo climb up onto the beam.
"It's amazing, I'm having so much fun" I smiled.
Knoxville crossed his arms and his shoulder brushed off mine.
"You gonna join in?" he joked. I laughed.
"My God, no! I'd probably kill myself" I joked back.
"Awh come on, for me?" he pretend-pouted and gave me puppy dog eyes.
"I copied the stunts from the TV show enough when I was younger to know that it never turns out well" I laughed.
"What? Didn't you hear my voice at the beginning of the show telling you not to try it at home?!" he laughed.
I blushed. I was just about to come back with a witty remark, but suddenly I felt arms wrap around my waist.
"Hey, Little Hurricane"
It was Andy. He kissed my cheek.
"Uhm.. I better go over here and uhh.. check on the stunt, thing" Knoxville said awkwardly, as he backed away.
Before I could say anything, he was gone. I removed Andy's arms from my waist and turned to face him.
"Andy that was rude"
"Whatever.. Hey, how about we ditch this boring set and find somewhere private, if you know what I mean" he winked and leaned in to try kiss my neck. I pushed his lips away.
"What's pole's up your ass today?" he asked.
"Your girlfriend came by the bus today. Said you should call her"
Andy's expression changed immediately. His jaw dropped and his eyes widened. It took a moment for him to respond.
"What? Girlfriend.. I don't have a girlfriend" he said.
"Oh Andy, cut the bullshit. I'm done with you and your lies" I walked away from him, leaving him speechless. As I made my way back over to Knoxville, I could see Andy take his cell out of his pocket and walk out of the warehouse.
Knoxville gave me an awkward smile as I approached.
"That your boyfriend?" he asked.
"No. Definitely not" I assured him. He smiled.
"Good. I mean.. It's good that.. Uhm.." he stumbled over his words. I watched him struggle, trying to recover from just admitting it was a good thing I was single.
"Uhm.. Oh! I think Stevo's ready to film the stunt" he said awkwardly. I silently giggled to myself. We shared a smile, then watched Stevo scream as he walked across the beam, being shot by hundreds of paintballs.
