One Of The Guys

Conditions within the band thankfully got a lot better over the next week or so. Ashley, Andy and I were closer than ever before, and CC and Jake finally gave in and began talking to us again. Things were starting to feel like they used to be.

It wasn't long before Warped Tour began. We had another new bus. This one was smaller with only one floor and enough beds for just the five of us. It was cozy. Our first show was electric. Performing in the hot sun to a crowd of thousands. I was finally starting to feel better again.

After our set, the five of us sat in our bus chatting.
"Dude, you're wrong! Half a 5 hour energy would give you only 2.5 hours of energy!" said Jake passionately to Andy. I giggled.
"I'm telling you, you drink half a 5 hour energy you get 5 hours of half-assed energy!" Andy replied, smiling and lightly hitting his hand off the table.
"But you're still getting the same amount of caffeine, just not drinking the whole shot. So it definitely would last 2.5 hours! Tell him [name]!"
I laughed and put my hands up surrendering.
"I am not getting involved in this one!" I chuckled.
"That's because she knows you're wrong" said Andy jokingly towards Jake. Just then CC pipped in.
"Okay, the only way we're going to settle this is if we all drink half a 5 hour energy and see what happens"
"YES!" exclaimed Jake.
"I seen a 7/11 like 5 minutes from here. I could run down now and grab some?" I suggested.
"Are you sure you'll be okay on your own?" asked Ashley.
"Of course! It's late, there aren't going to be any fans around to kidnap me" I said, standing up. I made my way towards the door.
"Thank you [name]" said Jake. "Now I can finally prove to Andy I'm right!"
I laughed and opened the door. As I exited the bus, I could hear Jake and Andy returning to the deep debate. I giggled to myself and closed the door.

The evening was beautiful. The sun was just setting and a cool breeze blew through camp. The walk was relaxing. It gave me time to think about how good things were getting. There was no more tension in band and everyone was happier. I rounded the corner of PVRIS' bus and found two girls there, one with a camera in her hand.
I stopped, not wanting to get in the way of whatever they were doing. The one with the camera in her hand was tall and slim, with purple hair and brown eyes. The other girl, who was talking to the camera was shorter, with blue and green hair and blue eyes. The blue/green haired girl spoke.
"We don't know exactly which tour bus is theirs, but we've been told it isn't too far from here. So I guess we're gonna end up walking around and creeping in the windows until we find them, because we're weird like that!"
The girl with purple hair giggled. She pressed pause on the camera.
"Did you get it?" asked the blue/green haired girl.
"Yeah I got it" replied purple hair.
"Okay, lets head up this direction, maybe we can find them"
They turned to face me. I felt awkward as I had just been staring at them. They spotted me and their jaws dropped. I gave an awkward wave.
"Uhmm.. Hi" I said. "I wasn't uhmm, creeping on you or anything. I was just walking this way and didn't want to interrupt"
"Oh my god. You're from Black Veil Brides!" said purple hair.
"Uhh yes.. I am" I shifted awkwardly from foot to foot. I didn't normally do well with girls. I've always found it easier to be friends with and make conversation with guys.
"Will you be in our video?" asked the blue/green haired girl.
"Video?"
"Yeah! I'm Amber and this is Leda. We make YouTube videos. That's why we're here at Warped Tour, to meet our fans. It would be really awesome if you could be in our video" said the blue/green haired girl, Amber.
"Uhmm, what's the video about?" I asked. Leda answered this time.
"It's kind of embarrassing actually. We're trying to find as many bands as we can then do something stupid outside their bus without being caught" she said. I laughed.
"Embarrassing like what?"
"Well, Amber just twerked upside down against this bus, we think Sleeping With Sirens is inside"
"It's not Sleeping With Sirens" I laughed. "That's PVRIS' bus" I explained.
"See! We need you for this video" chucked Amber. I laugh/sighed.
"Okay, what do I have to do?" I asked, enthusiastically.
"Oh my god, we should totally prank-scare the rest of your band!" Leda said excitedly.
I laughed at the idea.
"They might kill me"
"Awh come on, it'll be fun!" begged Amber.
I pondered the idea for a second. I was about to say no. I mean, I didn't even know these girls, was I just going to lead them to our bus? Then I remembered all the horrible weeks I'd had before. I needed a good laugh.
"Okaaaaaay, our bus is this way" I laughed.
This girls followed me for about five seconds before I stopped abruptly and turned around.
"Wait! I have to get some 5 hour energy's"
The two girls look and me confused.
"Andy and Jake are arguing over whether drinking half of one will give you 2.5 hours of energy or 5 hours of half-assed energy"
Leda and Amber looked at me and burst out laughing. They turned too, and walked towards 7/11 with me.
After getting some extra supplies in the store. We were ready to prank the guys.
