The Billionaire...?

Chapter V: Perfect.

Jules’ shift for the day was over and I couldn’t be more happier to be honest. I wanted to get out of that place, as far as possible from Andrew. It’s not that I don’t want to be around, but now that he knows I’m pregnant he absolutely dislikes me. And he still doesn’t believe it’s his child.

We got to our apartment and the crib awaited us. Actually the pieces of the crib awaited us. We had to put it together. Alone. Two and a half women.

“Oh god, why are people torturing us today?” she mumbled and put down her bag. “Come on, I’ll help you,” I say as I started to lift the edge of the package, but she made me stop. “Don’t even think about it. You go inside, it’s pass your bedtime.”

“Geez, ok mom,” I sarcastically said.

My room was thankfully big enough for a crib. And I only had a single bed, big enough only for one person. I took a shower and put on my favorite pajamas. Before I went to sleep, I erased all the pictures I downloaded about Andrew and laid down on my bed, caressing my stomach.

Before I fell asleep, those sky blue eyes appeared in my mind and then I drifted off into a deep slumber.

Something kept making a very annoying noise. I groaned and opened my eyes a bit, to see Beth, Jessica, Ian, Samuel and Ethan. “What are you guys doing?” I whispered. Sam turned around and walked over to my bed. “Don’t worry about us. Go back to sleep,” he said and kissed my forehead. Ethan also came towards me and whispered, “We know about the baby and we will support you all the time.”

“Thank you,” I whispered back. I could hear raindrops and they made me fall asleep again, but not for long actually. When I woke up, nobody was in my room. I was alone with my stuff and a crib- wait, a crib?

I stood up and made my way to the other side of the room where the crib stood. It was all built up. Juliet couldn’t do this, she had work so she went to sleep. Wait a second, the whole gang was here when I woke up in the middle of the night.

They couldn’t have done it, have they?

I walked to the kitchen and passed the bathroom until I saw them all on the floor, sleeping deeply while Juliet was panicking. “Morning Jules,” I said with a smile on my face. She seemed startled and let out a big gasp turning around to face me, saying, “Holly mother of rainbow skittles!”

“What the hell? Are you ok?” I asked with a raised eyebrow. “No, I’m not ok! I’ll be late for work if I don’t find my car keys!” again she ran around the place as if she was a freaking chicken without a head. I spotted the keys on the coffee table and called after her. “Jules, are the keys on the coffee table?”

I heard fast footsteps walk my way until she made a singing ‘Hallelujah’ like they do it in churches and then she hugged me tight, “You should’ve told me sooner my bitch,” she kisses my cheek and runs out the door.

The whole morning scene made me laugh and I walked towards the passed out people on my floor, poking Jesse lightly. “Jess?” poke, “Jess?” poke, “Jess?” poke, “Je-”

“Can you stop that? We’re trying to sleep here,” she mumbled. “I’m making pancakes,” I whispered in her ear making her wake up in a millisecond.

“I’m up! I’m up!”

Everyone groaned and heavily opened their eyelids while I gave them all a sweet, innocent smile. Beth on the other hand stood up and walked with me to the kitchen. And when she’s like that, it means she wants to know more.

“So… the billionaire…?” she trailed off as a question. “Yeah. He’s the baby daddy even though he doesn’t admit it. He’s saying I’m after his money,” I fight back the urge to cry when I say that heartbreaking sentence.

Bethany walks closer and pulls me into a hug. “You know… you are strong enough to be both the mom and dad in this child’s life. So don’t worry about that asshole, you’ll be perfectly fine. And besides, Ian likes you. A lot. If you ever wonder about his or her daddy, Ian will always be there,” she winks.

“Psh, yeah right. I don’t wanna break hearts, but I don’t like him that way. Sorry Beth,” I say seriously. I was about to make pancakes and she disagreed and made me sit down, letting her do the work.

My phone rang to All Time Low and I picked it up since I saw it was Juliet. “Hey, what’s up girl? Miss me already?” I giggle, but she was breathing hard. “He said that he’ll fire me tomorrow.”

“Wait, what? Andrew said that? Why?” anger started boiling inside me. Juliet has nothing to do with me and Andrew’s child so why is he going to fire her?

“He thinks I’m with you on getting his money…” she whispered, probably trying to hold back her tears. “I’ll be there in ten.”

I made my way to my closet and picked out a pair of fitting pants and a loose shirt. I also looked in the mirror and I soon won’t be able to wear this outfit.
I shrugged away that thought and grabbed my phone and my bag, telling Beth I’d be back real quick. A cab thankfully stopped and drove me to my destination, which was the stupid CEO’s company.

When I got there I could feel the stares of business people because of my outfit, but I didn’t care. At least I don’t wear high heels and short skirts like that woman-scratch that, that ‘teenage looking girl’ which had fake blonde hair and huge eyelashes along with pretty perfect pink nails.

Apparently she caught an elevator just in time and I had to share it with her. But I was wondering why she went to the same floor as I did. When the door opened I stormed off to the CEO’s office and the guard let me to Juliet and she was so sad. “I’m here,” I whisper and pull her into a hug.

“Why are you here?” she asked. “I’m here to talk to him about important matters,” I said dryly. Soon someone cleared their high pitched throat. We looked that way and I saw that fake blonde again. “Hello,” she shrieked which made the guard actually cover his ears behind her. “I’m here to see Andy.”

“Um, may I know your name, miss?” Juliet politely asked. “I’m Veronica Siemens. You should be aware I was coming,” Veronica said the last sentence in disgust as she looked at me. “Oh, yes. Sorry, I’ll just let him know you arrived,” Juliet said but I stopped her. “Um, can I go? I have to drop some files really fast and I’ll tell him miss Veronica came,” I looked at her, giving the ‘I-have-to-talk-to-him’ look.

Juliet nodded but that Miss Siemens groaned in disgust-again-and I smiled and made my way into his office.

I closed the door behind me and there he was, staring through his window. “Have you forgotten how to knock, miss Dawson?” he annoyingly asked and turned around, his face shocked when he saw me. “Hi. I’m not gonna be long, so just listen to me and don’t interrupt,” I sternly said and he had an amused smile plastered on his lips.

“Look, Juliet has nothing to do with me and my child, so don’t fire her because of that. She’s been searching for a job her entire life since she graduated and I won’t be happy if she got fired because of me. Now let her have the job and forget everything about me. She doesn’t involve herself into this situation. Are we clear?” I say to him.

Andrew walked closer to me and I didn’t step back every time he took a step forward. Within seconds he was right in front of my face and his breath was on my cheek as he leaned down. “I don’t think you are the one making decisions, Alison.”

“I don’t care about your huge ego right now, but if you’re so smart as the Wikipedia says, then don’t be stupid and don’t involve her into our misunderstanding.” That came out as a very harsh knife straight into his body. “I see that you are willing to do everything for your friend to keep the job.”

I nod. “Yes. She deserves it and I can’t ruin it for her. Now forget about the misunderstanding, let her be and don’t even think about this ever again. Please.” With that, I turned around and walked towards the door. I grabbed the doorknob and turned around again. “By the way, throw my number into the trash can,” I say and point my finger to the paper with my number on it, which was on his desk.

When I walked out, the fake bimbo was glaring at me. “Miss Valerie, he’s ready to see you,” I purposely misspoken her name to make her even angrier. “Look you little bi-” Before she could finish, the door flung open and Andrew was right there. “Alison, I-” he stopped talking and moving.

“Veronica, what are you doing here?” he dryly said and you could clearly see hatred in his eyes. “I came to see my fiancé!” she cheered and walked towards him in those heels, but accidentally almost fell so he could catch her. Such an attention seeking blondie…

The word fiancé repeated in my mind and a tear found its way to my eye while Andrew noticed it.

Of course he wouldn’t believe he had a kid on the way. He’s getting married. Who would want a man with a child which in his eyes isn’t even his?

Juliet tried calling after me but I couldn’t stand a second in there anymore. I ran and ran outside the building and protectively kept my stomach safe from anything. I was never so protective in my entire life. “Oh god, how am I going to get home?” I asked myself when I saw so many cabs and so many cars on the road. I wouldn’t get to my apartment in forever.

“Alison! Wait!” I hear a voice behind me and I turn around to find a breath catching Andrew. “What do you want?” I asked with my cracked voice as I remember the picture earlier. “I’m sorry I almost fired your friend. I will make sure she stays here and keeps working.”

“That’s all?” I ask again. “Yes. I will have my driver take you home, please, I insist.”

I nodded. But only because I didn’t want to risk waiting here all day.

~unknown POV~

We printed out her pictures and kept replaying that video from the hospital so we could finally get to know what she was so sad about. “So? Do you know who she is?” our boss asked when he walked my direction. “Yes sir. Her name is Alison Montgomery, just turned 21 and she is living in this apartment with her friend, Juliet Dawson,” I gave him the picture of the apartment and he smirked.

“Anything else? What connection does she have with Andrew Biersack?”

“From the recording in the hospital and when she was in the car, we found out something very interesting and we are very sure that Andrew is involved in this,” I reply. “Shall I know what it is?” my boss impatiently asked.

“She is pregnant and we are sure as hell that Andrew is the father.”

He smirked again and began clapping in amusement. “Perfect. That’s exactly what we needed. Gather more information of her pregnancy, find her now and keep someone watching her every move.” I nodded and did as I was told, but heard something come out of my boss’ mouth again.

“Alison will be the perfect exchange to bring Andrew and his company down. He will lose.”

Of course he will. Once he realizes that’s his child, he’d give anything to protect it.
