Juliet

Three precious years have passed since Alison's death and Melody's birth. It's a very good thing that Mel is still a toddler and doesn't know that her mother died on her birthday. Well, she does know but she doesn't understand. Her tiny heart, yet so big, didn't get to know her mother that well to remember her. All she saw of her were short moments which she probably forgot.

I decided to put Alison's pictures framed and put around Aaron's house. There were many pictures of her in Melody's room and many more in the hallway. I even put up a photo I took when Alison held her baby girl for the first time, I somehow managed to catch that beautiful moment.

Aaron and I became a couple one year after moving in with him. He and Ali were close friends from childhood and she kept on the promise he made her; asking him for any help she'll need. That's why she planned on moving here. To be honest, I didn't really like Aaron at first, though he proved to be quite a decent guy. Melody adored him, she would sometimes call us mom and dad, but as we keep telling her Alison is her real mother, she would sometimes stare at the photos on the walls.

"Juliet," Aaron nudged my shoulder and I followed his gaze towards Melody who was holding the picture frame of her mother. "What are you looking at, sweetheart?" I ask, kneeling down beside her. "Did mommy not love me?" she asks quietly. For a three year old, she sure knew how to talk. There are words she can't pronounce correctly, but she tries her best. "She loved you so much, but she had to go. Melody, when you'll be a big girl, Juliet will tell you everything you have to know about mommy, alright? Until then, remember she loved you very much."

I noticed how Aaron watched me with those loving eyes as he approached me. "You would be a great mother."

"Well, to tell you the truth... we might need another crib now."

Aaron and I sure planned on having a family of our own, but I don't think he expected this so soon, but hey, we happened to forget protection one night. "I happen to be pregnant and Melody will have someone to play with," I smile, kissing Mel's head and then focusing on the shock-faced Aaron. "You have got to be kidding me! I'm going to be a dad! I need to tell my parents, this is so exciting! Juliet, I love you!"

He hugged me tightly, then carefully picked up Melody and kissed her cheeks as we continued playing with her, making weird faces and sounds...

I guess a happily ever after also exists for me. And I believe Alison is happy for me too.

So... I want to say thank you to everyone who read The Billionaire...? and followed me on this journey. I let my imagination go and it brought me here. Thank you for all the support, comments and votes you have given me and I believe all this writing has also given me more experience. I think that my path on this site is now finished and I will be focusing more on Wattpad now, there are like seven books I plan on writing, all with somehow different storylines and events.

By the way I have a question: I once saw something about this site being shut down in a few months and I am not sure if that is just a rumor or is it true? Does anyone know?
