The Billionaire...?

Juliet's POV~

"Let me in! Please! That's my best friend!" I cry out, banging at the door as I held Melody in my other arm. "Sorry, but you aren't allowed inside now, we are trying to save your friend," a nurse spoke, trying to remain calm. "But, I need to be there! Please!" I cried even more, but the nurse looked at me sadly and closed the curtains. I sat down on the floor with Melody in my arms, letting out cute baby sounds and silently crying.

Soon, I saw Jessica and Beth run towards me with Ian alongside. "What's wrong? Why are you outside? Where's Alison?" Jess bends down to my level and wipes away my tears. "I don't know, I don't know!" I cry. My heart ached as I remembered the last words Alison told me. I couldn't think positively, all I thought was that maybe she will really die. I sent a text to those three the minute we got to the hospital but they sent me back they were stuck in traffic. Now that they're here, they came on a tragic event.

"She started losing her breath, she even told me some last words. I... I think we lost her," I cried harder and harder, also feeling my heart ache more and more. Ian sat down beside me and pulled me into a hug after Jess took Melody into her arms. They were covered in teary eyes and their lips showed sadness, their faces showed hurt and fear.

Moments later, the doctor came to me, sadness written all over his face. He handed me a birth certificate and spoke, "The mother has officially given you full custody over the child. And I... I am very, terribly sorry for your loss. Alison Montgomery-Biersack has passed away."

My world started crumbling. Jess and Beth were trying so hard to hold back their tears, but they were unsuccessful. Ian got mad, tears streaming down his face as he ran away, Ethan following him.

Jess handed Melody to me as she and Beth sat down and cried together. I picked up the pen and started writing on the birth certificate.
