The Billionaire...?
Chapter XII
“My back hurts,” I moan as we finally put our feet on ground and inhale fresh air. Juliet was discussing some boring business stuff with Andrew. There were men in black suits everywhere, I started thinking we were in prison. “Andrew,” I moan loudly as I arch my back again to relieve the pain I had. His head snapped up and he walked towards me, gently rubbing my back.
I groan and stir around for a bit until his hand accidently got to my butt. “I know you want more of me, but right now our baby is making me feel uncomfortable… I think this flight wasn’t the best idea,” I yawn, stretching my arms.
I was confused since I wasn’t that tired before. Although maybe I should’ve slept in a different position while flying here. “You can go to our apartment. I’ll let two of my men accompany you so you won’t have any trouble. Be safe,” he smiled, calling two men in black to come with me.
Juliet nodded to me as I signaled her I’m going before her. She was still discussing some stuff with others and with Andrew. Well, I’m glad I don’t have to be in that shit, all I need right now is a big bed and a lot of strawberries.
I was placed in a black Ford Focus and I was driven to a really tall building. The men showed me to the apartment and let me tell you, it was goddamn beautiful. It had a big living room-kitchen-dining room and there was even a snack bar. Exactly what I needed now.
After a few hours I was left alone in the apartment as the men walked down to the lobby to check if anyone uninvited came to visit. Andrew and Juliet came in with a lot of papers in their hands and I first thought they have a lot of work to do. Instead of going upstairs they put the papers in front of me. “You have to sign the first two. It’s about marriage. I got a deal with Jinxx and I don’t need to prepare a whole ceremony, just sign the papers and we’re done.”
I looked at him speechless and hid the pain he gave me. I always imagined marrying someone like it was shown in the movies. The white dress, the guests, the after party, the gifts… It all crumbled into broken dreams.
With a shaking hand I picked up the pen and signed the papers. Andrew took a look at them one more time until leaving me and Juliet alone in the apartment. “So… I guess you’re officially a Biersack now, huh?”
I nodded with a broken smile and I don’t think Juliet saw how hurt I was. The sudden thought of carrying a baby scared me again. I didn’t know if it was the right thing to do, letting Andrew marry me-or shall I say, letting myself marry Andrew.
But there was no turning back now. We are married on paper.
