Nothing is what it seems

(Jinxx POV)
I woke up the next morning with a headache, not at all remembering what happened. But I saw Angel in my arms, I was topless…but she was dressed. I sighed as I got up. I carefully left my bed and I found that Ash had Midnight with him in his bunk, while CC had Meadow in his. I laughed, those four look so cute together. They probably said the same thing about me and Angel. Andy and Jake were in their own bunks, while I found Reign on the couch. He was still asleep, at least someone was kind enough to put a blanket on him; so he wouldn't get sick. I went over to the kitchen and went to find something to eat.
I settled with cereal. I had just started eating when Angel woke up.
"Good Morning." I whispered.
She stared at me and reminded me of CC if we woke him up earlier than he wanted. "morning." she mumbled.
"Would you like something to eat or would you like to wait until the others are up?"
"Wait."
I nodded.
(Angel POV)
Well this is just great…I got someone who's a morning person…wonderful. I thought to myself as I got more sarcastic at the end.
"Did you sleep well?" he asked.
"Best night ever." I answered. "Why are you such a morning person?" I asked.
"I'm not.…I just couldn't sleep with this hangover headache I have much longer." he answered.
"Drank too much last night?"
"Yeah, but not as much as CC or Ash…they're going to have one hell of a hangover." he said."I wouldn't be surprised if we don't see them at all today."
"You mean the sleeping mystics?" I asked.
He nodded.
"There's another amongst you guys."
He looked at me with question.
"Yeah, there's three sleeping mystics in this band."
"Well it the only ones it could be is Jake or Andy…but Jake has a mortal fiancee and Andy has a mortal girlfriend."
"It's one of them…and I have a feeling that we're going to meet this mystic soon."
(Jinxx POV)
I nodded as I finished my cereal. What the hell is she talking about? Both Jake and Andy have their true love…I turned to put my dish in the sink. "I'm going to take a shower." I tell her.
she nodded. I went over to the bunk room and grabbed a change of clothes then went to the shower.
Jake is going to be.…wait a minute…he's been engaged to Ella for as long as I had been divorced from Sammi…could he…? It is possible.…but so could Andy.…he's been stuck at the girlfriend/boyfriend stage with Juliet for three years…but Andy is having a hard time believing me and the guys about what I am…so the only possible conclusion is Jake…but he's bound by a promised marriage to his British fiancee. I sighed I turned on the shower and got in after stripping.
(Angel POV)
I heard the water turn on as I decided to go back to his bunk. I know Jinxx knows which member I'm talking about. Though this sleeping mystic is in a delimma and I have a feeling that this mystic will be connected to his real true love soon. Then he'll have to decide which girl he wants more…but I have a feeling I know who he's going to pick…a door opening then closing pulled me out of my thoughts. I looked to see who it was…it was Meadow.
"Morning." Meadow said with a yawn.
I nodded.
"Is Midnight up yet?"
"No…but Jinxx is…he's in the shower at the moment." I answered as I figured out what all they had on this bus to eat. "Are you going to open your bar early again?" I asked.
"I might. CC is still asleep though."
I laughed. "Jinxx said him and Ash may be asleep all day to get over their hangovers."
She laughed with me.
"Have you told him your power yet?" I asked her.
"No…to be honest I'm scared that he may not want me afterwards.…I mean at least Ash doesn't have to worry about what gender Midnight is." She answered.
"But…weren't you born a girl?" I asked confused.
(Meadow POV)
"No…I like this body more though, so I stay this way." I answered quietly.
"Mead, he's your true love…whether or not he's into guys…he's yours…just like you are his." Angel told me.
I sighed. "I know…it's just…"
"It's just what?" She asked, when I trailed off.
"I don't know…" I said.
"Meadow, he won't leave you. If that is what you're scared of. You told me yesterday that both you and Midnight had meet CC and Ash the same day…and that was what a week ago?"
"Two weeks ago.…they were there the day they came back from tour and the three of them been visiting the bar since…CC, Ash and Jinxx.…that is." I told her.
She nodded. "You and him have been getting to know one another for two weeks…that's more than what Jinxx and I have. You should be able to trust him."
(CC POV)
I woke up to find Meadow gone from my side, but I heard her talking to Angel it sounded like. I also heard the sound of the shower going. I looked around and found that Ashley, Midnight, Andy, and Jake…and probably Reign were all still asleep.
"I know I should, Angel.…but…" I heard Meadow say. "Honestly I don't know how he'll take it."
"What do you mean, Mead? It's your power…he has a right to know about it."
What power are they referring too?
"I know he does, Angel." Meadow said. She then sighed. "I only use that power if I'm in tight spot sexually…to confuse the predetor."
What the hell…? A power to confuse sexual predetors? That actaully sounds interesting…I wonder what it is.
"Well if you aren't going to tell him your power at least tell him the other thing we were talking about. He needs to know one way or another. Don't keep him hanging for much longer, Meadow, or you may as well end up dark."
"NO!" Meadow said almost screaming.
I left my bunk and went out. I went over to Meadow and hugged her. "Is everything alright?" I asked, pulling the best tired worried movements and tone of voice I could pull off. I can't let them know I've been listening to their conversation since I woke up.
"Yeah, Angel just scared me with something we were talking about." Meadow whispered.
"What were you two talking about?" I asked.
Angel gave her the 'tell him' look. She nodded.
"CC…can you come outside with me, please?" She asked.
I nodded and she took my hand as we walked outside of the bus. She took me behind the bus and into her bar then to the guys bathroom.
"There's something you need to know about me." She said finally.
"What is it?" I asked.
"My power…this isn't my original body."
"whoa-wait…what?" I asked confused.
"I'm a gender bender.…meaning I could change my physical appearance." She told me. "I was naturally born a guy."
(Meadow POV)
He stared at me in shocked confusion. I sighed. "Here let me show you."
I let my eyes white over and I felt myself becoming myself. "My cover name is Hayden Elijah Grayson.…but I go by 'Den'." I told him, when the change was over, softly in my masculine voice and uncomfortably. I looked at him, he was in pure shock.
"Dude…that's amazing." he said when he recovered.
I smiled. "You're not scared of people calling you 'gay' or 'bi' because of this?" I asked.
"Mead, I am who I am…I don't care what they think of me…if they don't like me for who I am then they don't deserve to know me."
My smile widened.
"Mead, I know we've only been friends for a couple of weeks." He said. "but…will you go out with me?" he asked me.
I stared at him in disbelief. "You…you still want to be with me?" I asked.
He smiled. "Of course…I may be human, but Jinxx told us enough to know that I could be with you."
I stared at him in horror.
"What?"
"Christian, what Jinxx told you about humans becoming mystic is a painful change for you…if we're not careful, you could end up dead…there's only one true love for a turned mystic."
"but it's worth a shot. I know what I saw when we touched, Meadow, I'll survive the process."
"And if you don't?"
"Awe, come on…you don't have any confidence in me?"
I laughed. "I'm sorry.…it's just that I've only known one who survived…and that's Jinxx's dad."
"I bet there are others out there, who are turned mystics as well." he said. "…and that was a nice change of subject." he added.
I laughed. "I tried."
"Will you go out with me?" he asked.
"Yes."I smiled.
He closed our gap between us and kissed me. It was a soft kiss, but it was passionate one. When we broke, I turned back into the body I felt comfortable in and kissed him back. He pulled back and looked at me.
"What?" I asked in the voice I was use to hearing. "Was there a difference in the kiss between my genders?"
"No, that's the thing." he said. "I thought that there would be, but there is no difference."
I smiled. Normally the person says yes when I ask them that. He really is mine. "Come on, let's get back to the bus; before they worry about where we are."
