It was 2 days before warped and we were already driving, bvb was leaving on a plane tomorrow to Seattle where they're bus was waiting at the first venue. We were going to be there early morning of the first warped date so that meant 2 days in a van . Oh the joy.
Our manager Tyler was driving, Matt in the passenger side I was laying in the way back , cam and James were in the second seat and Sean was in the first.
It was only 5 hours in and it was already stuffy.
I was siked to actually play but really nervous. What if I mess up, what if nobody comes to see us. My phone buzzed interrupting my thoughts. I unlocked it and saw it was a message from cc.
- hey how's the ride, kill eachother yet?
I laughed before typing a reply
- it's okay and no , thankfully. I'm in the back by myself and the others are upfront playing some game.
All of the sudden I felt something hit me. I took my headphones off.
" let's go we're stopped at a gas station and there's a Walmart next door. " James shouted I looked at the time and it was 3pm.
I groaned and climbed over the seat trying to get out. I finally stumbled out causing then to laugh. I closed the door and fixed my shirt.
" fuck off"
They laughed and Tyler went to go pump gas.
We walked in the Walmart and started to split up.
" grab shit to eat and stuff because we aren't stopping till tonight" Sean said.
I grabbed a cart and went to the drink isle. I put in 2 12 packs of Mountain Dew, two of code red and a 24 pack of monster. I went to the candy isle and got 2 bags of gummy bears and a 8 pack of Reese's. I got crackers and chips and made my way to the register. Sean came up next to me with 2 cokes and chips.
" shit Jess" he said And I laughed.
" I need my energy. Ad no I'm not sharing" he pouted and put his stuff up. He payed and then I put mine up.
We walked out being the first ones and went to the van. He helped me put my stuff in and I put all the drinks under the seat and the covered it. I put the food on the floor.
" your rediculas " Sean said laughing just as the rest got in.
" you know it" I said Laing back down on the pillow I set up and trying to sleep.
I checked my phone again.
- well in the future I'm sure they wouldn't mind if you went on our bus a few times;)
I laughed slitly
- I'm taking that offer up because this van sucks
I locked my phone and put it down and snuggled under my blanket before falling asleep.

After driving for 2 days we finally got to the venue at 10am I hadn't gotten out for a day and I needed to stretch.
I texted jinxx knowing he was the only one awake and he said they were already there and to find the bus.

" I'm going to go find somewhere to change" he said

I grabbed my cloths for the day and climbed out the back door. I stumbled but stood up looking at the rows of buses. I spotted black veil brides bus down the line and walked towards it as I watched crew run around and other busses come in. This truly was one sick tour.
I walked up and nocked.

" Jess!" He said and I laughed walking up it. He gave me a hug and lifted me causing my back to crack.
" dear god that felt good" I said and he laughed .
" how was the drive?" He asked sitting down.
" way too long and cramped, can I go change?" I asked and he nodded
" go ahead the others are sleeping like usual "he said and I nodded. I went and changed into black skinny jeans and a sleeveless avenged sevonfold shirt. I tied a handkerchief around my wrist and walked out. I went to the front lounge and out my pajamas on the table . I sat on the couch next to jinxx shaking from nerves.
" nervous?" Jinxx asked laughing and rubbing my shoulder.
" obvious?" I asked and he nodded
" considering your shaking like a leaf yes"
I sighed and jinxx gave me a hug.
" do you know when your playing?" He asked and I shook my head
" I should probably find out . Ill text you and tell you later" I said
" okay, i have to go wake them up anyway, by the way were playing at 7"he said . I hugged him before walking off and heading to the van. Sean and matt were sitting on top of it and the rest were sitting on the ground.
" hey guys!" I shouted and they all looked.
" there she is!" Sean said from the roof. I laughed .
" we play at 12 so we have to be at the stage in a hour" Tyler said and I immediately began getting nervous.
I texted jinxx and then leaned against the van.
" Jess you okay?" Matt asked
" what if I mess up what if I suck " I said and they sighed
" you'll be fine you kill it when we rehearse , come on get hype up" James said and I sighed

" I'm gana head to the stage now with Matt and James , start heading over in 30 okay?" Tyler asked and we nodded. They got up and walked off. I opened the van and took out 2 mountain dews and 2 monsters. I opened a monster and chugged it in a minute.
" shit" Sean said . I laughed and crushed it before opening a Mountain Dew.
" it's how I get hyped" I said and cam shrugged.
" whatever works" he said.
We sat around for awhile until we decided to head out at 11:30. I grabbed 2 more monsters and a mountain dew.We walked through the gate and into the venue. I heard the beats of drums and saw kids everywhere. We walked to the stage and found the rest. We were playing the same stage as falling in reverse and they were on now. This couldn't be happening.
We listened for awhile in awe.
" dude this is unreal!" Matt said an I laughed as I listened to Ronnie.
I felt arms go around my stomach and lift me up. Once set down I turned and saw Ashley.
" hey! You excited?" He asked and I nodded sipping my monster.
" very nervous"
" ahh you'll do great" Andy said coming next to him.
Jinxx and jake came and gave me hugs.
" where's cc?" I asked desperately needing him.
" woke up late he's coming don't worry he wouldn't miss this " jinxx said and I smiled chugging my monster.

" wooh there , 2?" Ashley asked and Matt came behind me.
" actually this is her 5th " he said and they all looked at me.
"I need energy what.." I wined and they laughed

All of the sudden I heard cheers and saw that FIR were walking off. Ronnie came to Andy and shook his hand.

" this is Jess, my sister , cc's girlfriend and singer for burn bright"jake said and Ronnie smiled

" Jess over here !" Cam said from the circle they formed. I moved from the guys and joined. Cam and James were next to me and Matt next to cam with Sean next to him. They formed a huddle.

" yeah!" We shouted

They went to get they're guitars on and I reached for my necklace. It wasnt there. It's always on. It must of fallen off when I changed. I need it. I started to breathe heavy and jake came to me and placed his hands on my shoulders.

I nodded and went to the ramp getting nervous. James was in front then cam ,Sean ,Matt ,then me. James walked out and cheers came and my heart thudded faster. All of the sudden I heard someone yell my name.
" Jess!!" I turned and saw cc just as Sean ran out.
He came to me and hugged me.
" forget something?" He asked holding the necklace. I smiled and grabbed it putting it around my neck just as Matt went out.
" I love you" I breathed out and he smiled kissing my cheek.
" go Kill it" he said . I ran out on stage and my breath caught in my throat when I saw the crowd. They all cheered and my smile grew.We actually had a huge crowd. I walked to the mic ad saw the guys on the side. I smiled and looked back to the crowd
" how are you guys?!" I asked and got cheers
" good, were burn bright and this songs called stay" I said and stepped back as cam started the guitar. I smiled and went in with the vocals feeling great.
After 6 songs it was time for our last song. I went to the the drum platform where my drinks were and took a sip of water before returning to the mic.
" you guys are amazing"

" we have one more song for you and it's a cover." I let the crowd cheer.
" I want to talk alittle about this cover though, it's a song very close to my heart, it made me realize that this is where I belong an it also reminds me of my best friend John" I breathed in and looked at cc who smiled
" John was my best friend and this was his favorite song , we sung it together all the time and he always told me I belonged on stage and that I needed to try for him,"
" unfortunately 2 months ago John passed away in a car accedent" I heard gasps .
" I lost my best friend that day but whenever this song plays I know he's still there with me, now tell me who likes the band of mice and men?"

The song started and cheers erupted as I began the first notes.
I went to a speaker that was on the right side and pretty high but easy to climb up and stood on it as I Began the screaming. I was high and felt alive as I watched the crowd look up at me. I saw Andy and jinxx watch me silently begging me not to fall.

I tilted my head up, kissed my fingers and saluted the sky to heaven where John was watching down on me. As the chorus started up I took a breath in and jumped off the speaker aiming for the stage. I saw Andy tense and I landed perfectly a little to the side of the stage. I ran to the middle riser and continued.
As the instrumental picked up I smiled breathing heavy.
" I want every single one of you to sing these last lines with me okay?" I screamed and they cheered.
I sung the beginning and then stopped holding my microphone out and holding out my other hand. The instruments stopped but the crowd kept singing and I smiled as we picked back up and finished the song.
" thank you so much, were burn right and well see you next time" I shouted and the guys threw they're picks and drumsticks. I put the mic down and walked slowly off. My heart was pounding an I felt like nothing could hurt me.
I got off and Jake ran to me.

" no offense but so did I , miss I trip over everything" jinxx said and I stuck my tonge out at him. Matt sean james and cam ran and piled on top of me sending me to the ground.
" we fucking killed it!!" Sean said and I laughed
" we sure did now get off me before I bite you" I said and they stood up
" what now?" I asked
" I don't know about you but I'm going to watch other bands and enjoy warped!" Sean said and ran off the others following. I chuckled lightly and turned to the guys.
" we have a signing in 10 you can come and watch if you want" jake said
" sounds like a plan" I said
Andy put me on his back and started for the gate.
"Drop me and your dead" I growled and he laughed
" cc your girlfriends threatening me" he shouted stopping at the gate leading in the venue and waiting for the others.
"i taught her well" he shouted back
Andy pouted as they all came and then went into the venue.we walked to the Merch booth and saw there were kids already lined up. They cheered when they saw the guys.
Andy put me down and they all sat in chairs at a table . I sat behind them watching them talk with each fan probably making that fans life. I started playing on my phone when I felt something hit my head.
" what the fuck!" I yelled looking up.
The fans laughed and I saw the guys turned around.
" get over here lazy ass these guys want your autograph" Andy said from the middle of the table.
Mine? Are they sure?
I got up slowly and walked over between him and cc.
There were two girls about 16 one with black hair and the other with red hair. They had bvb shirts on and were smiling.
" hey, I'm Jess" I said sticking my hand out and they froze before grabbing it awe struck.
" I'm Jen and this is Sammy" the one with the black hair said and I smiled.
" nice to meet you"
" can you sign this?" Sammy asked Holding a piece of paper out.
" for sure" I smiled and Andy picked me.
" for sure ? Really?" He asked and I flicked his ear.
" shut up andrew"
They fans laughed.
I took Andy's marker causing him to wine and then signed it. The girl with the red hair handed me hers and I also signed it.
" did you guys see the show?" I asked an they nodded
" you guys were amazing " they said and I smiled
" thank you nice meeting you" I said as they walked to Ashley.
" we'll that was cool" I said to Andy
" get use to it" he said and another girl came to him I went to sit back down when cc caught my arm.
" where us going? They want you to sign something too" he said and I saw a boy and a girl. Wow kids actually wanted to meet me.
C pulled me on his lap and I laughed before signing the shirt the boy held out.
" you guys were sick " he said as I smiled
" thanks , "
" you killed it on second and Sebring your friend would be proud" the girl said and I smiled
" he sure would"cc said.
Cc kissed my cheek causing some girls to squeal and awe.
We continued the signing a lot of kids also asking for my autograph which was a dream come true.

I watched the guys perform with a smile. The crowd stretched forever and they all were chanting the lyrics. They ended the song and ran off sweating and smiling.
" amazing as always" I said and they smiled.
" I'm sweaty as fuck" Ashley said then smirked at me before running and grabbing me.
" eww Ash stop!" I shouted as he rubbed me in his chest. He dropped me and laughed
" you suck" I said
" you love me"
I flipped him of and he laughed.
" in getting food" Andy said and walked away
" I'm Gana check out some bands" Ashley said and walked off jake and jinxx following.
Cc same up to me and grabbed my hand.
" want to go back to the bus shower and relax ?" He asked
" you just said the right words mister" I said and he laughed guiding me back.
We walked to the bus silently and got on. I jumped on the couch exhausted and cc laughed.
" I'll go shower first" he said kissing my cheek then walking to the back. I texted Sean saying I was probably going to stay at the bvb bus tonight then sat up.
I put on the tv and watched some random kids show until cc came Out in shorts and shirt his hair dripping.
" your turn" he said teasing his hair with his fingers.
" can I have cloths to borrow?" I asked
" sure" he smiled and walked into the bunk area with me behind him. He went in his bag and took out shorts and a bvb shirt.
" thank you" I said kissing his lips.
I went into the bathroom and got in the shower letting the warm water soothe my skin. I got dried off and put on cc's shorts and shirt . They were a little too big but comfy.
I walked out and put my dirty clothes on the empty bunk and went to the lounge area to find cc. He was siting at the couch watching tv.
" you take forever" he fake wined and I smacked his arm before kissing him.
" sorry I like to be clean" I said and he laughed kissing me again. I laid on his lap listing to the tv while he rubbed my back. As i felt my eyelids droop I thought about all the events today and how happy and lucky I was that this was now my life. I couldn't ask for better.
